For years I was reluctant to try brazilian waxes– for obvious reasons: it’s such an intimate procedure, and of course the pain. One day I met Preeti, she convinced me to try it and I’ve never used a razor down there ever again! Preeti does my eyebrows (threading) and my brazilian waxes. She’s very knowledgable about the process and best products to use to care for the skin and least painful. She’s always gentle, clean, and just simply knows what she’s doing. You can’t go to just anyone for something as personal as that, but you can definitely trust that you’re in good hands with Preeti. I follow her wherever she goes! I recently told her that I’m thinking about moving to California and will fly her in monthly!!! LOL. She’s worth it!

Preeti is amazing. I go to her for eyebrows and waxing. She knows how to keep the eyebrows full while preserving a nice and natural shape, which is what I like. She is also so pleasant to work with and makes you feel very comfortable in your seat, eyebrows or waxing.

Preeti is the only person I trust to touch my eyebrows. I have known her for 8 years. She is so amazing that I have followed her from the threading place that used to be on Perfect Shape 72nd st and from Zahra on Amsterdam and Broadway. She is also the best waxer. You can’t beat eyebrows on fleek (every single time!!) and a waxing experience that doesn’t leave you tuning for the hills. Trust me Preeti is worth it!

I’ve been going to Preeti for waxing for over 5 years! She’s very professional and efficient. By following her recommendation and care, I’ve gotten rid of irritation and ingrown hairs that I was suffering from for a long time. My skin is extremely sensitive, but I’ve gotten such good results I could never go anywhere else. I highly recommend Preeti as a waxer– she’ll change your hair removal life.

I recently moved to the UWS and walked into the closest salon for a haircut. I am not sure how well they do Womens cuts but they are completely ill equipped to cut men’s hair.
First off, they do not have any clippers whatsoever… After attempting to do a fade with scissors, they used a trimmer to cut my hair. The result is a horrible fade with white lines running down my head. This was the worst haircut I ever received.
To top things off the cost for a men’s cut was $ 65!!! Who charges $ 65 for a men’s cut??? If you look online even the most expensive average is in the 30’s…
In the end I will need to visit another stylist to fix this mess. Completely ruined my day…

I can’t comment on the salon services here, as I come strictly for threading services with Preeti. I have been following her from Perfect Shapes to Zahra and now here. I’m very particular when it comes to my eyebrows, and I haven’t found anyone that I trust more than Preeti. I will forever follow her until she retires. Her prices are comparable to that of other threading spots in NYC.

I came to have a blow out for a red carpet event. All night long I heard, «your hair looks amazing». I LOVE IT! I had Marisol who is the bomb! Thank you for making me look like a movie star!

This salon is a disaster. Stylist was 15 minutes late, no offer of water or to start the blow out early. When she did arrive, she gave me literally the worst blow out ever– frizzy, puffy, looked like I got caught in the rain. Next day– hair still looks bad, but now is greasy. AVOID. This place is a joke.

I’ve worked at a hair salon, been to a million hair salons for the perfect do (I’m very particular with my hair) & JUST found it here! Elina is amazing. She was able to tone down my highlights, cut & blow dry so fast & my hair looked beautiful! I attached photos :) I traveled all the way from Queens (I was referred to here by my cousin) & so happy I did Thank you for working your magic!

I came here for a blow out for some engagement pictures.
The place was clean and everything ran on time. The staff was friendly, though my stylist made a few comments on what else I should have done to get getting for the pictures, possibly she was just trying to sell me more services. I’m a casual girl & that blow out was all I was doing.
The reason I’ve given it three stars is frankly my blow out just wasn’t that great. It looked about the same as I could do at home, which isn’t saying much. It didn’t stay too long and though my hair looks smooth in the pictures, it looks fairly flat and uninspired. Next time I’d suck it up and head further away to Dry Bar.

I wanted to get a quick blowout for an event a few weekends ago and when I called on Saturday afternoon they were able to fit me in and were super polite. When I got there they welcomed me and offered me a glass of wine. Alina did my blowout and she was really nice and good at hair. The blowout looked beautiful and she was done in about 20 minutes. All in all I’d say this place is better than a designer hair salon or drybar bc the outcome was the same if not better and was cheaper ($ 35 for a blowout). Also loved the convenience of making the appointment at the last minute.

I was very happy with my blow out from Elina. She was very nice and did a great job. At sub $ 40, I think that Signature Styles is an awesome deal for a blowout. They seem to be able to fit people in last minute which is also awesome. I’ll definitely be back!
