Some relic with long, stringy black hair grabbed onto my arm and wouldn’t let me go as she led me to racks of extremely expensive jewelry that looked like it was made by a 5 year old — complete with gobs of glue holding the «rocks» in place and cheap plastic «stones».
I was looking for a gift for a young girl (aged 12) and just meandered in. I realized the jewelry would be inappropriate and stated so but this vampire latched on to me and kept explaining how wrong I was. Finally, 20 minutes later, some guy who looked like a tall Munchkin, complete with a Mohawk made out of thin ringlets came in and told her the meeting was starting and I was able to escape.
An absolute waste of time.

Fashionistis beware! The Fall Sample Sale from the showroom seven folks is coming up from Sept. 7th — Sept. 17th. Their new loc. for the sample sales is 263 11th. Ave. The sale is one of the première fall events along with the hordes who visit the Co-​op sale. Showroom seven features lots of Euro designers and cool American stuff too. I have scored great French designer bags and coats in the past, not cheap cheap but good bang for the quality of the items. For info call 212−643−4810.
