I have been bringing my two daughters to this location for a few years now and I have generally been happy with the haircuts. I brought them in today for a haircut for one and a trim for the other. They were both taken about the same time by two different stylists and they were sitting next to each other. I stood right next to the stylists the whole time. The girls had their haircuts and the stylists proceeded to dry their hair as they have always done for the past few years that we have been coming here. When it came time to pay, the woman at the reception tells me that the girls had a blow out(confirmed by another stylist whom I presume is the manager) and therefore charged me an extra $ 20 per child for the blow dry. Why was I not informed that they were getting a blow out and that there was an additional fee when I’m standing right there in front of both stylists? I expressed my discontent to the receptionist and all she could say was«yeah sorry». It’s outrageous that I have to pay $ 55 per child for a haircut and blow dry without my informed consent. I’m not questioning the price of the blow out, I am bothered that a service was added and I was charged without my consent when I’m standing right there. I feel robbed. Not coming back.

I need to knock a few stars off of my review for Sharkey’s. They have gotten very expensive and their work is consistently inconsistent. My daughters come in primarily for bang trims which sounds easy peasy but apparently it is not. Sometimes Sharkey’s does a great job, sometimes my daughter’s bang’s look like Moe’s from the Three Stooges. Way too short. I even told the stylist while she was cutting her hair, that this was not what I asked for. I wanted her bangs BELOW her brows. She cut them a quarter of an inch above her brows. Her bangs were WAY too short and uneven. The stylist just looked at me. The prices have also gone up exponentially.

The haircut was just ok. The customer service was deplorable. First off, the bitchy queen(hereafter, BQ) at the front desk needs. to. go. I walked in, my first time to the salon, carrying my son, a bit bewildered, and BQ thrust up a hand, and shouted, «HellOOO??!» as if I were holding up the line, and as if I am too stupid to see where the reception counter sits. Totally uncalled for.(The salon was empty, which, after reading my review, is understandable). Then, I said my name, and what time my appointment was, and BQ shrugged me off, with a surly, snotty expression. He didn’t tell me where to wait, whether I should wait, or whether my stylist would be with me, any other boilerplate expressions of courtesy or helpfulness that are expected of receptionists. I was, simply put, bothering him with my presence. Then, the haircut. The stylist seemed afraid to deal with my crying child, and didn’t really cut enough off. My kid’s bangs were cut straight across, a feat I could have easily achieved myself, saving myself $ 36. After the disappointing haircut, I went to pay. BQ was, predictably, bitchy during our brief transaction, thrusting my credit card back at me, and slamming a pen down on the counter, wordlessly.(Really, there’s no need to treat people poorly. I don’t deserve that.) Then, I asked him whether I could leave my cash tip since the stylist was no longer on the floor. «Is my stylist still here?» I asked, politely. He stared at me with contempt, and wagged his head side to side at me as though we were at the club and I cut in line. Is it really difficult to imagine why I was still in the salon, cash in my hand, at the counter? «She’s in back!» he sneered. I merely wanted to leave a cash tip with the stylist. BQ didn’t get off his backside to go find the stylist. I can’t believe his attitude. Well, I can, sadly, because I’ve held a number of menial jobs in the past, but I don’t believe it’s ethical to treat people like crap. So avoid this place at all costs. Also, it was fairly dirty and in disrepair inside. hair everywhere, not dusted. not cleaned. BQ probably can’t bother himself to use a rag around every once in awhile. he’s too busy sitting on it. Ba-dum-bum.

I brought my daughter in today for her first haircut. It was FABULOUS! I can not say enough about the wonderful women there today. Each and everyone of them made sure her first haircut was a special event. I will be bringing her back for years to come.

Absolutely wonderful! Worth every single penny my two year pod second haircut was a word of a difference from his first. I waited an entire year between cuts because the first one was so bad(different place) but the person who cut his hair(I didn’t get her name) lord she was wonderful! We will definitely be repeat costumers !

What a gem! Took my daughter once and she talks about it often! Got her nails done, 2 feathers in her hair, and bought some toys and trinkets The Décor The Vibe THE staff… Warm AND immerse you into a fun, girlie kids world. No worries, fun for boy tots too but total winner for. girls(my daughter is 7 btw). I would say awesome place for tots thru age 9. *side note: would have given 5 stars but some* clutter(possibly due to a recent delivery, idk) put a small damper on the experience. I Had To Walk Around AND Over Few Random boxes, items. Also Super cute toys, books, and accessories u will not find at the big. box stores! Will go again!

After learning the hard way that it is impossible to cut my own sons hair at home. I decided to take my son here for a haircut after hearing from my friends bring their kids here. We walked in on a Saturday and noticed how busy they were not knowing we had to make an appointment. The receptionist told us they would be able to take us with no problem. My son wanted to sit in the fire truck. Oh don’t I wish we had this kind of entertainment when I grew up. Emma cut his hair. She explained what she thought would be best for his hair. He got to watch a tv show. She have him an amazing haircut! I was so thrilled to see him sit and get such an amazing haircut and wished I hadn’t tired to cut his hair before. He also got a toy to bring home. Great place and experience!

They wana finish very quickly without giving enough care for hair cutting. I requested a cut design for my daughters but They didn’t make it same as it is in the catalogue! Doesn’t worth girls cut $ 43 and boys cut $ 34.

I brought my daughter here recently for her first haircut. While I didn’t find the staff particularly friendly, Roza was great with my daughter and she loved her hair. The salon is very cute and they have a wide assortment of products. Overall, I would recommend.
