New restaurant in the neighborhood. Last week I went to check out the new pizzeria in the neighborhood. I was really amazed by their fried pizza. Had a couple of their cocktails too. Definitely will be back for their Aged Negroni and the Fried Nduja pizza.

New place in the nabe! So excited. We came around 9 on a Saturday and the place was virtually empty. Not sure why except that it is far from the train? Great pizza and service(well, he didn’t exactly have his hands full). Hostess greeted us with a smile. Some people are complaining about the prices, but I think they are reasonable considering the toppings they have to choose from. You can always opt for the simple Margarita pizza for $ 13. Anyway, we enjoyed our pizzas, the interior is different for this nabe(sort of industrial-y), they have a well-stocked bar and good beer selection and we were thrilled to easily get a seat on a Saturday night. Please stay in business!

One star for taking reservations on open table and being closed when I showed up for the reservation.

I was really hoping for better… I ordered takeout during a stay at the Bentley Hotel when snow kept us in. I ordered and waited in the restaurant so our food would be hot. I order margarita pizza, fettuccine bolognese, eggplant parm app, truffle fries and squash soup. I was excited for the wood fired pizza and extremely disappointed. It was undercooked and watery. It really needed 5 more min to crisp up and brown the cheese. The Bolognese was tasty but a bit watery(maybe due to takeout). My wife did enjoy the soup and apps. I was disappointed with the bartender I ordered from as I waited at the bar for my food. A slow night I yet he never asked if I wanted a drink(I did!) and I never caught his attention. It was if I wasn’t there. I’m hoping it was just a bad night given the snowstorm. Like I said — I was expecting more based on the other reviews. Maybe another try next time I’m in town for eat in.

YAY a fancy pizza restaurant 2 blocks from my apartment. I anticipate coming here all the time in the summer because of the cute patio. Since Service Station is still a bit new, I wasn’t surprised that it was fairly empty on a Saturday evening. The service was really attentive, and the food came out very fast! We got 3 pizzas(soppressata, nduja and prosciutto and an arugula salad. All were so good. The crust was perfection. But I thought the portions were small for the price. They are all $ 15 – 28 for a pie that would feed 1 person. Would be a great place for a party or birthday dinner! Can’t wait to come back.

One of my newest favorites around the UES, I’ve been here twice since I work nearby. Honestly, you can’t really go wrong with an Italian food and bar joint AND the service is great(no pun intended). I ordered a couple well drinks and the were made to perfection, the bartender knows his stuff and I can vouch. Also the food, since it was all made to order with fresh ingredients! All for a decent price being it is on the Upper East Side. Amazing Ambience, to bring a big party(which I have done) or just to chill and kick back a couple drinks, I highly recommend if you’re around the are to check it out! FYI — If you work in one of the Hospitals, flash your work I.D.and you’ll get a 10 or 15 percent discount.

Really cool spot. Great deep fried pizza. Nice atmosphere, it’s an old gas station turned into a restaurant/bar.

Fried pizza??? I mean come on pizza is already amazing on its own and anything fried makes it a gazillion times better right? Went for dinner last night with a friend and ordered the fennel orange salad which tasted great but I wish they took the skin off the oranges because I was too lazy to do it myself so didn’t even eat it, the burrata and prosciutto was just okay, I like burrata that’s suuuuper creamy inside and this one was pretty firm for a burrata. I would’ve guessed it was more like a really soft mozzarella. But the best thing ever was the four cheese fried pizza with caramelized onions oh my! The dough was chewy and airy and soft and helloooooo fried so it tasted so good but it was a bit greasier than I would have liked, other than that it was perfect. Ambience was great even though there was someone’s company Xmas party going on. Staff was great customer service was perfect. It is super out of the way past York ave BUT the pizza was worth it. I hope they start delivering soon, I would def order this for lunch!
