I went with my friend last week for the first time. I ordered a margarita and a glass of water. Both glasses were chipped on the rims. I told my server, and he changed my glass. But when he brought me a new drink, the glass was chipped on the rim again. I was afraid glass was in my drink. It’s also overpriced.

Tasty brunch. I got the home-smoked beef brisket with fried eggs. It was very tasty. The husband got the giant pancakes with fruit and syrup… also very good. Food quality was on point. Service was eh. Our server was very kind but forgot my beer, forgot to get us sugar after he delivered an under stocked box with only 1 in it,(we had to get up to ask someone else for it) as well as multiple requests for cream. The actual location is cute. A trendy barn-meets-mill vibe. I love the fact that they have ping pong tables with additional games that you can play. Worth trying if you are in the area.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Really cool place, ping pong tables and some arcade games on the side. There is a popcorn machine you can just walk up and take a bag which is a nice touch, as well as Jenga for the tables. I was with a group at a table and the service was pretty mediocre. It was very difficult to get our server’s attention. Overall we had a very fun time and I do recommend the place. Enjoy some sports on TVs as well.

Visited this past weekend and really enjoyed myself. Food was above average, the space is awesome, and they have a great beer list. One knock was that the wait staff was not super knowledgeable about beer. I ordered a sour and it turned out they were out of it, so she pointed me to a fruited saison. The saison was good, nice and juicy, but not the acidic mouth puckering sour I originally wanted.

What a great addition to the UES! Huge layout, offering communal tables in a very lively setting! Plenty of TVs to watch games, two ping pong tables, and lots of high tops by the bar. The 60’s needed a place like this! Good food, large selection of beverages, and plenty of seating. For those nights after happy hour, you want a couple more drinks, and some food.

The best bar food ive had. Their cocktails are delish, not the sugary sweet stuff you might expect but actually really well rounded and professional. I tried the Isle of Krondor from my boyfriend and it was really good. Im excited to go back and try the others. The food was phenomenal. We ordered the spicy pork meatballs which came wih a cilantro yohgurt dip. Ugh. Painfully good For a main i ordered the artichoke mozzella and tomato sandwich, which in my opinion was a little too spicy — the jalepenos had a major kick. It came with a potato salad(which they forgot to give me until i asked for it later) and that was also really good –dressed with dill and bacons bits. My boyfriend ordered a burger and it was definitely wayy better than my sandwich infact i think it was the best bite of a burger ive had in my life Overall i loved this place and i will definitely go back. The reason i cant give them 5 stars is because the service just wasnt as good as the food. It took long to get our food, hard to get the bar tenders attention particularly on a tuesday night which im sure is much slower than the weekends. Amazing bar food and drinks, love the décor, and im lookig forward to going back soon!

I came here for the first time this past Friday to meet up with the girl friends. This bar is incredibly spacious with plenty of communal tables as well standing space. You will find ping pong tables, pinball machines, and many large televisions. And yes, free popcorn! Unfortunately the happy hour is only from 4pm-6pm and is very limited in terms of drinks that are on happy hour prices. The crowd is mostly yuppies. Happy hour drinks aside, there are plenty of selections of craft beers and ciders, wines, as well as the usual well drinks, cocktails, and shots. Basically, anyone will find a drink of choice here. The food menu is actually quite extensive and everything sounds so good. Not your usual boring bar food! I ordered the fried chicken entrée which comes with 3 generous pieces of chicken, coleslaw, and warm potato salad. The presentation was incredibly cute with coleslaw and potato salad coming in mason jars — adorable! Unfortunately I wasn’t particularly fond of the fried chicken as I thought it tasted plain and almost kind of strange, like old oil. I had to drench it with the bottle of chipotle sauce at the table to make it decent. I never knew fried chicken can be made wrong so that was shocking. At least the chicken wasn’t dry though. The service was very attentive and everyone was very friendly. The bathrooms are strangely located downstairs which is kind of a pain because everyone’s bladder will start acting up after a few drinks. And we all know that once you break that seal… Overall even though I found the fried chicken to be incredibly disappointing, I liked the atmosphere of this bar so much that’d I’d absolutely love to come back to give them another try! Perhaps I just picked the wrong item off the food menu, I’m really hoping. Food is a very big deal to me and if the bar I go to does not offer good food, I’d scratch it off my list of places to return.

Huge nice bar, with tv to follow sports, but also plenty of tables, area for private parties, ping pong tables, video games and popcorn machine! The wooden rustic décor, space, and vibe is really hipster Brooklyn-style. I came with a friend earlier this evening, and the place was petty packed, but we were able to get seats at an high stool share table. Drinks and food are delicious. I had their pork tacos, spicy and filling. My friend had a burger with fries and it was really tasty. Pro: free popcorn to pickup as soon as you get drink, and great crowd! Bring a date, or better look for one here! Cons: it’s pretty loud, so be aware and read to high volume talk. Also drunk people tent to trow popcorn.

Great place to hangout with friends afterwork or on your day off. Picnic table style seating with no reservations, all first come first serve so get there early! Lots of yummy beers on tap all reasonably priced. And the ping pong plus pinball machines are a big plus. Free popcorn!!!

I was apartment hunting on the Upper East Side, got really hungry, decided to come here for a quick bite! The size of the place is good for large groups. If you’re a sports fan, the place has a lot of large size TVs that are great for watching sports. There are also different games like Ping pong and Pool, for people to enjoy. I ordered the TWP burger, made medium rare just the way I like it. The meat was fresh and juicy, cooked exactly how I ordered it. I also got a side of fries which tasted really good, not too dry and not burnt. My friends tasted the fries and loved them. One of my friends ordered a drink, forgot what was called lol, but it tasted really good as per him; prices are city prices so don’t expect cheap food or drinks. If you’re ever around the area, def come here for a quick bite, drink or just to practice your ping pong skills

Great beer hall themed restaurant and bar that has a solid beer menu and games like ping pong, Jenga, and pinball. The clientele gets a bit broey due to the location, but if you can grab a table in the corner it isn’t as noticeable. Grabbing a table can be an adventure when it is busy as it is first come. The beer menu is pretty extensive with lots of craft and European beer on tap. The German themed menu is not bad as well, though mostly beer hall related.

Came here yesterday while I needed to kill time before plans that began at 8pm… and it was like 4pm, lol. I had this place bookmarked for awhile and had walked by with Ingrid S. quite some time ago but they weren’t open. While in the neighborhood she remember this place existed and off we went! The beer selection here is pretty decent. Very Spring-forward so I’m bummed because Fall and Winter are my favorite beer seasons… that aren’t Summer. Okay, okay. I like all seasons of beer but feel like Spring is sometimes lackluster. But Treadwell Park made it enjoyable. I usually love beers by Evil Twin Brewing and when I discovered their«Pils Al Pastor» on the menu I was intrigued. This brew is an Imperial Pilsner brewed with chili peppers, pineapple, and lime and an ABV of 8%. PEPPERS, PINEAPPLEANDLIME?! This sounded to me like a taco in a beer! Lol. I asked for a sample, was hooked and ordered a glass of it. It’s really delicious, doesn’t taste over-proofed and is very bright and summery — kind of like Corona with lime’s much cooler older and not mass-produced sister. Treadwell Park also has a popcorn machine that is self-service. I tossed some in a bag with melted butter and cheese powder. I put another bag over it and acted as if both bags were like a martini shaker. I did this in an effort to evenly coat all the popcorn with yummy flavor but the weirdly overly salted cheese powder and butter oil sat in the bottom anyway, lol. I also double bagged it so things wouldn’t get gross. Bags of popcorn — the only thing I recommend that you double bag, lol. The bartenders here were friendly and efficient. We tried some samples of other beers but nothing stood out to me as much as the«Pils Al Pastor» did. This beer would go so amazingly well with some authentic yummy tacos. I hope to be back here again, definitely a fun place — especially if you’re in a group. Two thumbs up.

Think of this as a craft beer hall. There are ping pong tables and that beer garden style of table — long tables with benches for larger crowds. It’s not too bad but the beers are iffy. They are good quality beers by they are too wacky. Not a place to come unless you prefer the specific beer styles offered. Sometimes you just want a Miller lite or Corona and his place just has the heavy tasting craft brews. The food is not bad, however. I would classify as high quality artisanal bar food. I would come here again but not all the time. Nice bright environment where you can definitely talk loudly.

I’d prefer to give this a 3.5, but i’ll round up to a 4. This was nicer then expected. Got here around 8 with my date, got seats at the bar, and we really came for the ping pong. Eventually we moved over to the ping pong tables, which, I guess make sense for their location, and had a good time. It’s kind of annoying with people walking behind one player all the time, and potentially(no, a lot) going to find a ball hit behind or to the side of you. The drink menu was worthy, had new Grimm and Barrier choices. Didn’t try to the food though since both our appetites weren’t there. Worth checking out.

I had a good time here. I’d been to Neely’s Barbecue Parlor(the space’s previous inhabitant) back in the day, and I have to say, I think this is a pretty dramatic improvement. Littered with a bunch of tables, TV screens, ping pong tables, Treadwell Park is a nice neighborhood sports bar with a number of drafts and pub grub. The clientele ranges from your UES yuppies to a bit younger, but at around 9pm on a Friday, it was crowded yet a fairly tame crowd. Went with a bunch of Belgian wheat beers and a couple IPAs, and the waitstaff was very helpful with recommendations. There are about 20 rotating draft beers, as well as some bottled beers. They also have a selection of beer floats, which sounded interesting, but as it was a Friday night and we just wanted to wind down, didn’t go for them. I’ll definitely have to give it a try next time though. The menu items looked pretty good, and there were some delicious-sounding appetizers and main courses, but we decided to just go for the pretzel, not knowing how humongous it actually was. At $ 12, we were a bit wary of the value, but when the pretzel came out, it was actually quite stunning. Bigger than the pretzels you’d find at say, Flatiron Hall, and thicker too(heh). Essentially, the size of a steering wheel, and easily a carb dieter’s nightmare. The pretzel was brushed with ample amounts of butter, but wasn’t too greasy by any means. It came with some dijon mustard and Austrian pimento cheese dip. Given how good this pretzel was, I got good vibes on the rest of the food, so I’ll definitely have to give that a try sometime. Service in general was decent, although it’s just unclear who is serving what section, so we ended up asking different members of the waitstaff for things. Prices are decent, and the good thing is that they have 4 oz pours for people who want to mix and match and try a bunch of stuff, which is pretty cool. Also, the portions seem pretty good in terms of food, and just about everything on the menu is less than $ 20. Definitely a good place for drinks if you’re up in this neighborhood. If I lived in the area, I could easily see this becoming one of my go-to bars.

Places like this are far and few in this area. The Jeffrey now has some serious competition! Treadwell Park occupies a large open space. The décor similar to The Jeffrey, has a cool funky feel utilizing raw repurposed materials. Craft beers, cask beer, ciders, etc… fancy pants stuff. Prices are average for this type of place. Good snacks and sandwiches(brats, hotdogs, brisket)… Free popcorn! Woo hoo! Games, ping pong. A fun place to hang with buds. Definately worth checking out.

Really cool place, and a welcome edition to the neighborhood! I am happy to have a fun bar to watch games and hang out with friends so close to my apartment. I stopped by this past Sunday with a few friends, and we sat down at one of the big tables in the middle. It was super crowded when we got there(because of playoff games) but as the night went on it cleared out. We ordered a soft pretzel and the pork nachos. Both were amazing! The pretzel was huge and fed 5. There is a popcorn machine in the back of the beer hall which is near the ping pong tables and the pinball machines. This is a fun spot. The service wasn’t great, but I am sure it was because it was so busy they are probably working through growing pains still. Will definitely be coming back!

Cool place… if you want to go play some ping pong and pin ball machines. There’s a self serve popcorn machine there too! Just a fun place with a great beer selection so you can go feel like a kid again, unwind and have a beer or two. It’s basically a beer hall on the Upper East Side, which sounds strange for the neighborhood but I think it works well. Get the pretzel… it’s giant, warm and SOTASTY. It’s okay to cheat on carbs with this, trust me. I took away a star because we were there with a group of people… and basically were asked to stand because a family came in… also, the service was slow and the waitress was not very nice.

Great new bar where the mediocre Neely’s BBQ used to be. Terrific beer list, cocktails, ambiance, food, ping pong tables, pinball machines, popcorn machine, and flat screens all around. Holy cow — a working fireplace too! Plenty of seating along the bar, high tops with stools, and heavy picnic benches that seats couples or groups. Varied menu with a little something on it for everyone. Brats, sandwiches, finger foods, salads, and some main course entrees. I found the prices fair for the area, and for the type of craft beers curated on their list, but may seem a bit pricey for some. 20 rotating draught craft beers and ciders, and a selection in bottles, cask beer, and hand crafted artisanal cocktails so there is a lot to choose from. Hot damn! A few of us enjoyed a terrific Smoked Chipotle & Cherry Milk Porter, while I decided on a refreshing IPA and Pilsner. So much beer love! The cigar bar is still downstairs on the level below so if you want a puff on a stogie after a few brews the option is close by. Bathroom is down on that level too. Oh yeah — Get the monster sized pretzel! Huge, soft, hot, sexy. You’re welcome. Loved the look and feel of this bar, as there is nothing else like it in the area. Fun vibe and friendly staff. Wonderful new spot on the UES to get your brews on!
