I had a really fun time at this place. It is so touristy and had a cruise atmosphere, which made it cheesy but was part of the fun. We even got ballon animal hats! They played great music, so that’s what made it so fun! The drinks weren’t great and I did not go there to eat, so no clue how the food is. The atmosphere itself is what makes me give it 3 stars.

I wanted tortilla soup like the ones in Texas so I came in here. Not the authentic tortilla soup. Good taste but not really tortilla soup. The cheese is not supposed to be diced nor the chicken, better yet name it diced chicken soup. BTW very greasy. I ordered chicken fajitas… Very tasty but didn’t have cilantro nor pico de Gallo. Just fried onions and peppers with tortillas, that is not Mexican that’s more Italian. The frog punch was delicious. I actually got tipsy with one(I don’t drink) is a very pricey restaurant. Dinner for 1 with a drink $ 45. Maybe I’ll go back for frog punch but I’m not banking on it. BTW… My waiter was great very pleasant young fellow.

Señor frog is a great spot on 42nd street. There is other in different locations like miami, st. marteen and more. I went there on 2÷26÷27016 for the frist time with a girlfriend and it was great. If you ever been on a cruise before it feels like the same thing. Someone passes around making you balloons hat and all you have to give them is a donation of your liking. The Piña colada taste so good it my favorite drink, I had a beef burrito that wasn’t bad. Only thing is we went a friday got there 7:30pm and had a 15 – 20 min wait for a table, cuz it was packed. The entertainments was the best. Dress code casual regular clothes. Ask to sit next to the stage if u like being in the middle of the entertainment. Place was good overall

I went to Señor Frogs Friday, 2÷19÷16 with my co workers. We were a group of about 15. We did get a small table for some that were going to eat. The rest of us hung out by the bar or danced by the table. It was about 8pm and the place was pretty packed. The atmosphere is very high engery. It’s dark with neon lights which is cool. The music was okay just wish they had more variety. We did get to go up on stage and do the chacha slide. The Drinks are a bit pricey and not enough alcohol. Around 10pm it was super packed and hot. Took about 10 mins to get a bartenders attention. The place is fun but I wouldn’t do it again.

If you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into, Señor Frogs Times Square might bum you out. If you don’t like fun, Señor Frogs might bum you out. If you’re uptight, Señor Frogs will TOTALLY bum you out. This place is goofy af. I mean, of course it is – it’s a cheesy tourist trap transported from an island paradise and plunked right into Times Square. But cheesy, overpriced corniness aside, it’s a great time. I went early on a Friday with a group of brand-new coworkers. I would say, if you want to get to know someone real quick, take them here. You’ll know almost immediately if they’re willing to let their hair down and have some silly fun. I got the Frog’s Punch and it was toxic and delicious and SO sweet. The rest of my crew got beers. My boo ordered the Frog-gasm(how could he not) and had to send it back. It was positively radioactive, and the amount of sugar would have put him into diabetic shock. If you’re watching your blood sugar, stick with beer, is all I’m saying. Food-wise, the nachos were passable. The onion rings were too. The wings… well, I’d pass. I would suggest sticking to drinks at this establishment, or at least have very low expectations — eats are not their strong point, although I do want to get that skateboard of sliders at some point, just for the goof. Get a balloon hat and hop on the conga line, you know you want to… but before you do, make sure you know how to do the«Cha Cha Slide.»

Señor Frog’s was a pleasant surprise! Went with a Groupon for lunch with a friend. It was super empty on a Monday at 1pm, but I imagine it gets chaotic on the weekends. Our Groupon included two entrees and two drinks. We both got burritos, me beef and her chicken, and for drinks, I got an iced tea and her a lemonade. I walked in thinking that I was going to leave terribly aghast at the food and service, but it really was a good experience. Our burritos were mostly rice, though, AND it strangely did not come with guacamole, so while I enjoyed it, and devoured it like I’d never seen food before, I wish it was more beef and beans and all that other good stuff and less rice. Our waitress, Arabelle, was a sweetheart, too.

We went to señor frogs in Cabo and had the most amazing time ever. I guess we thought we could capture a little of that experience, but we were wrong. The atmosphere was loud and fun, but it appeared the staff was spending more time dancing and celebrating than order taking and bringing out food. Not that it mattered because the food that was brought was cold and disappointing. We ordered the guacamole which was to be table side. At any other restaurant this means they make it table side, not here, it was a cup of pre made with cold chips. Not to be left out, the drinks were very small and very overpriced. With so many options in the area, save yourself and go to a different restaurant.

MY experience was drastically different than some of what I am reading. I came after work with a group of friends last week and had a fantastic time. I ordered the burger which was unexpectedly awesome considering it is a Mexican restaurant and my friends and I shared the Queso dip as an appetizer which was addictive. The staff was very funny and accommodating. It is just an all around high energy, fun place. The frozen drinks were good. My friends stuck to the margaritas but I loved the Frog’s Punch. I think I found my next birthday spot!

First let’s start with the wait time to be seated, a Lil more than normal. It took the server at least 20 minutes to acknowledge my large party of 5. She then took our order we waited almost a whole hour for food and just as long for water. The drinks were disgusting taste like watered down crap. The food was barely edible. Bathroom was nasty and gay men were going into the women bathroom. I have been to the one in Nassau Bahamas and the vibe is completely different this spot was definitely a big let down.

Went here for a campy pre-Valentine’s dinner – we weren’t expecting the food to be awesome, but we would have settled for Applebees levels of «meh» and this food fell sooooo far below that. The french fries were stale, the sliders grey hockey pucks, and we didn’t bother with the second halves of our rubbery BLT wraps. This place’s food made me yearn for Sizzler, Subway, McDonald’s, anything I would at least have a few moments enjoying while it’s going down before the customary post-meal loathing. The yardsticks are fun, but a gamble if you haven’t tried the drink flavor. I lucked out with the Frog Punch(though if there was alcohol in there, I sure didn’t taste or feel it) but my husband’s frozen Watermelon was completely disgusting. The wacky balloon hat guy never made it over to our table. This was my primary«you had one job!» admonishment with this place. In summary, I needed to be way drunker for this experience to be passable, but unless you go for straight up shots here, it’s doubtful you’ll even achieve a buzz. The brain freeze was top notch though!

So glad I came here when it first opened. I wanted to try it before it got overpopulated, crazy and extra ratchet. I really enjoyed Señor Frogs on my Carribean vacations, especially in Cancun, Mexico, so I chose my bday here so that my friends here at home can experience it. My drinks in my penis-looking palm tree glass were strong and tasty, unless it’s because I had shots that day because it was my birthday event, I was twisteeeed. I didn’t know many more people in my party would arrive at dinner time. I found it amazing that the waitress kept bringing chairs to make more space and seat more friends. I totaled 24 In my party… They really engage you and bring you to the stage so you can dance with them. everyone is having fun whether they are watching or performing. Ratchetness unavoidable. Some girl doing a booty shaking contest I think purposely undid her top. YIKES! Food was decent but my brother-in-law had this awesome steak! I was surprised a steak from this place would taste so good! I should have got it too!!! Drinks pricey and of course don’t forget to tip for the awesome entertainment, balloons animals and more. Will be back again but hopefully to get messed up and enjoy it. One of the best birthday’s ever for my 29(Yes. I am not 21 anymore) 29th birthday! All my friends told me they had an amazing time!

I made reservations for my daughter’s 15th bday here and took a chance on them. When we got there seemed like they had a line of people waiting and they weren’t going by reservation which kind of made me mad. But come to find out the reason for that is that they were filming my favorite show here on that day(Impractical Jokers) I love them, that made my night and I got to meet 2 of the guys. The food was ok nothing extraordinary but the feel of the place and the ambiance was awesome I would go to this restaurant whenever I’m in NY, if you are looking for good music and a good time while you eat this is the place for you. Don’t get me wrong the food was good it just wasn’t something that I would go out of my way for but again the ambiance make’s this place awesome and a great place to be.

I visited señor frogs yesterday with a friend and I couldn’t have had a much more terrible experience. I ordered a mojito and was instead served what tasted like seltzer water, lime, and mint. There couldn’t have been a single drop of alcohol in there. I asked the waitress if that’s what she served me and her response was, «it’s a mojito». Truth is, it wasn’t and of course she still charged me $ 12 for it. What a joke. The funny part is that I visited this place last week and my mojito actually tasted like what a mojito should taste like. So what made this Friday’s mojito so different from last Friday’s mojito? I have no clue. I suggest you don’t waste your time or money here. Heads up, the music here is interrupted by their host just about every 5 seconds.

If you come here, all you’re really paying for is the entertainment which isn’t even all that. I felt like I was back in high school(not a good thing). The music is good even though it’s constantly being interrupted by the host. The food was horrible. I ordered a burger with fries and it came out cold and wasn’t well cooked. The drinks are definitely watered down. The only thing I really liked was that there was a band playing and they were really amazing. Changed the whole mood of the place.

Came here for drag brunch. Had my ID checked and my bag searched«for drugs and weapons.»(Umm…) The line went way out the door into 20 degree weather as a result of these checks. Mandatory coat check. $ 5/item and they tried to charge my friend’s scarf as separate. Mandatory $ 25 drink wristband even though I don’t drink alcohol. The waitress told me I could«use it for soda.» Most expensive soda I’ve ever heard of. Food is by all accounts awful. This place is a tourist trap, real New Yorkers be warned.

No even if you occupy a prime location in Manhattan, that doesn’t mean you can serve crappy food and even crappier service. just, NO I suspect most people came here for the location and the passable entertainment. Well, if that’s what you are looking for, I’d suggest you 1) go to Shake Shack/Restaruant row around the corner, and 2) go to a LEGITLY good show on Restaurant row or Broadway. Either way, you’ll end up spending about the same amount of money. Plus, you don’t have to deal with rude attitude and all sorts of mandatory charges.

Came here with my co workers after our end of season party. It was 12 of us so we had to wait for a table. Not too long of a wait to be honest but this was also on a Wednesday. Our waitress was really nice. Forgot her name thou. She was able to split our table bill 3 ways. I wasnr staying too long because i had work later that nite so i got something quick. chicken quesadilla. idk why it was $ 14.50 thou. Thats a freakin appetizer. Its no seafood in it. Why so much lol. It was good thou. The drink frog’s punch is the worst thing in the world. Its soo weird tasting. All the alcohol(if it was any) was at the bottom –_-. The karoke was cute. Kinda empty when I went. Again it was on a Wednesday. I would need to go on a weekend & write a updated review

Live and upbeat atmosphere. Loud music and the hosts know how to keep the energy going. I came here with my best friend after midterm week and I had a BLAST! The ballon hats were cute & the dancing games on stage were entertaining. The appetizers were tasty, drinks are pricey, much to my surprise but it was well worth the money. I would come here again. Hopefully they’ll have better wifi connection because I could not connect on my galaxy or iPhone. Other than that, not a bad shindig to come to with your friends!

Horrible food and watered down drinks… the only plus is the awesome music and sound system! I’ve been to several Señor Frogs in beach locations(like Mexico) that were wonderful and fun, so I took my fiancé and nieces here for dinner, but it was awful. The margaritas on the rocks were completely watered down and not worth $ 13 a piece! I had $ 13 long islands at Hard Rock that were way better. It’s very loud, so make sure your waitress gets the order right. My niece ordered cheese enchiladas with cheese only on top and rice on the side and the waitress thought she said«inside» so she received enchiladas with ONLY rice inside of them. I’ve never even heard of that and thought someone would have noticed that was not normal as well. By the time the order was remade and delivered, everyone else at the table was done eating. This time, the enchiladas were covered in red sauce even though we clearly asked for cheese enchiladas with cheese only on top. She sucked it up and ate it, but the red sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce… I ate some to verify. What a waste of money. The waitress was not well-versed in English, or didn’t appear to be, so that was a barrier in addition to the loud music. My chicken salad was clearly all pre-made ingredients and not worth ordering. The guacamole had a strong lime taste and was not fresh nor pleasant to eat. The only good food item was the chips and cheese appetizer. The music is awesome and it was fun to watch people do karaōke mixed with top hits playing. This is definitely a party place, but not for good food or drinks. So, that makes it pointless to visit. It’s connected to a hotel and in a good location, so I’m sure it’ll stay afloat because of that and the chain name’s reputation, but I would never go back. Pick another place in the city and don’t take guests new to the city here!

I went on a Wednesday night and it was pretty nice with live performance, conga line w free shots, karaōke, free balloon, and games w free margaritas. Only con is the food. Buffalo wings were cold the first time it was served however, after complaining of it being cold, they gave us a hot batch of buffalo wings for free. Atmosphere is great. Will return on a weekend.

I have a few points to make, this may be lengthy… If it’s one thing Native New Yorkers hate it’s Times Square. The most commercialized, touristy, unnecessarily expensive area ever. So with that said I already hated Señor Frogs for being there but I was still open-minded. This establishment is so unprofessional when it comes to making reservations. I reserved a table of 4 for 10:00pm. I called to let them know I was running late and they told me the following: «we don’t hold reservations that’s just the system online.» Then take the sh*t off from online. ANYWAY! So once I arrived I had to wait 45 minutes so yes now I’m annoyed. I ordered chicken quesadillas which I found to be quite delicious. I ordered a yard long drink that I forgot the name of but I must say I go against what most ppl. said about the drinks. Mine was STRONG! and I can drinkkkkkk. I think it’s all about what you choose. If you want something strong stick to drinks that have strong base liquors in them(rum, tequila, etc.) Anyway I’m not a mixologist so let’s not elaborate on that. The service was ok. Our waitress was very accommodating and very polite when she honored my $ 30 Unilocal coupon. I just find the atmosphere so weird. I already understand the concept because I been to plenty of señor frogs before but the layout of the space makes me feel as though I’m at a comedy club watching acts on stage. To me, it’s not as engaging and doesn’t set off the club/bar type of feel. All in all it was an ok experience. I don’t think I’ll be back as there are way cheaper places to have a great time at.

Super excited when señor frog came to the U.S. … been to this place and store when I was in Mexico and the Carribean. Love this cute lil frog and all his antics. Anyways, my bestie and I decided to go to this place for dinner two days ago after the Fort Tryon Rennaisance Fair. The ambiance of this restuarant is awesome. Not since Mars 2112 Restaurant in midtown 47 street Manhattan did I see another theme restaurant that has so much flare. The restaurant food specializes in Mexican and spanish food. It also offers live music, a band, karaōke night, and games/competitions. Reminds me of the cruise ship activities. In addition there is a person coming around to take photos and sell those photos to you with señor frog frame. And not to forget the balloon hats for free. They are having an opening special now that they offer you a free apetitizer of nachos with any entrée order. Also you can get their Unilocal deal of $ 15 for $ 30 worth of food. Had my bestie and I had power on our cell phones the night we went, we would had totally brought this deal. Oh wells. I ordered the banana smoothie, love it and would recommend it. In addition I got the taco salad, it was good but not great. My friend got the chicken enchiladas. It tasted yummy. The free appetizer was pretty big in size and yummy too, but you have to bring the card flyer to redeem. I gave this restaurant three stars for their food, but 4 stars for the overall theme and experience. Definitely worth going to at least once. By the way, its a great place to celebrate a birthday. The wait staff runs to your table with a cupcake and the stage plays the bday music follow by you can order the ice cream truck. And if you are really into a fesita, you can shake ur booty on the dance floor with their live band. Definitely a fun place for a party. Their motto, «come for the food, stay for the fesita»

I saw an article early this week about Señor frogs is finally open in Times Square. I popped my cherry in Señor Frogs Puerto Vallarta but having one close to home is pretty amazing. Me and my friend came here after work to grab food and drinks. The correct address is for this location as you can see on their website and its on the same block as Madame Tussauds! A guy outside was handing out Free Chef Appetizer coupons with an Entrée purchase and my friend got one for us. Upstairs is the retail store and down the spiral staircase is the spacious restaurant. Drinks: Frog’s Punch(my friend) and Daiquiri Passion Fruit(mine)…both regular sizes Entrée: Fish & Chips(my friend)…lots of fried fish with french fries Chicken Chimichanga(mine)…popped my cherry tonight and it was fulfilling and wish there was more chicken You definitely come here for the food, drinks and ENTERTAINMENT! The employees gets so involved from taking your order, serving you food/drinks, and get on stage and shake their tail feather lol If you want some free SHOTS, get on the conga line each section… there’s someone squeezing shots into your mouth lol! Next time I might get on it =) Definitely a kick ass fun spot for a Friday night baby!
