Exceeded my expectations. The cheese and bacon burger was fresh.

Was in love with this place for years. But just finished eating and it was lame. The milkshake was watery… very unexpected since this was my go to milkshake place. The fries with my chicken fingers were cold. Annoying since it’s at a premium price when you get it thru seamless when it comes to price. Won’t order from here again

I have been to Schnippers a few times but it has been a while. Although most lunch eateries in the Port Authority/Times Square area are tourist traps and overpriced, this place stil nails it. They have a wide selection of food from the hearty fried goodies to tasty salads. They even have beer and wine. I especially appreciate that they have table turner wipes to wipe tables especially during the busy lunch rush when all the workers are diligently completing other thasks such as sendin food out to the table. I enjoyed a salad with grilled chicken and an order of sweet potato fries(although I am not a fan of maple dipping sauce) and everyone else at the table enjoyed a quick lunch bite from fish tacos to the fried chicken sandwich and onion rings. It also seemed like a good place to have deliver if you really cannot get away from work. I will definitely return for a lunch date in the near future.

I’m absolutely a fan of Schnipper’s. They have such a huge array of American food: burgers, salads, fries, milkshakes, other yummy desserts. This place is really large so there is a ton of seating available. It is in Times Square so my guess is it sometimes gets really busy. Anyway, you order and then you grab a seat and they bring you your food. no tipping required. It has that nice sit down restaurant feel without being bothered by a server. This is definitely a place I would go again!

Good lunch option in midtown. Fairly quick unless it’s super busy. Overall food has never let me down. I think they have the best milkshakes(a little pricey) but I mean it is in the times building. Great place to go with a friend & grab a quick bite.

Cool spot to eat. If you’re worried about the cleanliness of some of the food options in Times Square, jump over to this place. Super clean, large floor space, and you won’t feel crowded.

Burgerfleisch war top(Medium). Pommes Frites ebenfalls. Wir mussten 18 Minuten auf einen Burger und eine Portion Pommes warten. Trotzdem Qualität passt.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: WTF Schnipper’s. WTF. I’ve been to the Schnipper’s in Midtown and now this one, and each time– fail after fail. Last time they ran out of chicken(what is that?! one of their 3 main ingredients– seems like a pretty MAJOR thing to run out of). Whatever. I came back again– basically as a little fun test to see if I had just had a pretty horrible experience the first time around. Unfortunately, my first experience was pretty indicative of what was to come next… I expected a long line, but it went surprisingly quick and before I knew it I was waiting for the moment of truth: my Turkey Club. So we’re waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Soon the entire place starts smelling like smoke and I am not exaggerating when I say I was waiting for the sprinkler system to go off… The cook is shouting to us to find out what we ordered. He goes back to the grill and tells us it’s coming soon… Soon there’s a pile of chicken on flames, which happens to be one of the chicken breasts that landed on my friend’s sandwich. We waited roughly 20 minutes for a burnt chicken sandwich and a turkey BLT. My clothes reeked of smoke and I left Schnipper’s with the same thought as the first time. WTF.

Schnipper’s you are delicious and I ADOREYOU. I’ve been to this location twice and have enjoyed myself each time. Food came out promptly, cooked perfectly. Both times I had a burger cooked to a divine medium well. During my previous visit I treated my date and he found the sloppy joe mac and cheese fantastic. I found it to be a mess! Also, the Purple Cow is LOOOOOOVE. I will happily go back here despite it being in the tourist trap mayhem that is 42nd.

I ordered through Seamless with a 45 – 55 min delivery estimate and it took One Hour And 40 min to receive my food! How can you justify charging customers an added delivery fee when you don’t deliver on time and have rude customer service when I call and inquire where my food is?! If you can’t get the food out faster because you only have 2 delivery guys then time it so that it comes out of the kitchen when they come back to the restaurant and adjust the wait time on seamless. You completely failed at managing expectations here! And the quality of the food when it arrived was just disgusting! Ew… Greasy, cold, and over 40 min late! Soggy little burgers and cold fries. I could have gotten a better salad from 7 Eleven. Overpriced for what you are getting. There are so many options in Midtown, seriously there is no reason to bother with this tourist trap. I submitted photos of my order: 2 classic cheeseburgers on wheat buns, French fries and a Caesar salad.

good 3.5 stars We were pulled in by their giant sign and catchy name. left with a full stomach. The food is good but sort of generic. We got their signature burgers, hot dogs, cheese fries, and more. Again, good food but nothing made it stand out. Their house schnippers sauce was okay but I didn’t leave the restaurant thinking I have to come back for more. I do like the nice open atmosphere, with plenty of space. they have a good set up with an easy way to order food and get drinks.(including a water fountain). This place feels more like an upscale fast food place for a quick bite. Not expensive at all, especially for the area, which is always a plus! Perhaps I’ll try their other locations soon.

Time Square sucks. I hate the basic bitch tourists that graze here from the Midworst. If I could, I’d bring back the pimps, drug dealers, crack heads, strip clubs and the 24 hour kung-fu theatre. I still miss that New York, because at least it was interesting. Sigh. There are a few joints that are worth a taste in this shit show of a hood and this is one of them. The sloppy joes are excellent. Seasoned well it makes you feel like a kid again. It was the first thing I ever had on my initial visit & it should be yours, as well. The fried chicken sandwich is superb. It’s got a lot of bells & whistles on it, but the chicken, is still the star. It’s the best fast food chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, including Chica Filletita. Yeah, you read that right Felecia. Fries are good… onion rings are almost perfect. Bonus tip: find the self serve sauce counter. In a sauce cup, fill it half way with ketchup and then dump equal parts yellow mustard, Sriracha, and Tabasco until you fill it up. Dunk your fries in this and eat till you puke. And by fries, I mean the fried potatoes, not your penis. You’re welcome. If you would rather kill yourself then trek here for their tasty morsels, hit up the one on 23rd instead. Bye Felecia.

This is essentially a quick-serve diner(also a chain). Wait in line and order from a variety of comfort food options; take a number to your table and the food arrives 10 – 20 minutes later. Super high-traffic area, so like everything else around here, it’s always a little dirty. You can’t go wrong with the burgers(Green Chile is a personal fav); Chicken fingers; Sweet Potato fries; BLT; and as weird as this sounds the fish and chips are really good. They also have salads but… meh. This isn’t a salad place. Pro tip: they have a little outside patio, and in the summer, we’re snuck in a bottle of wine more than once. No one seems to care as long as you aren’t super obvious(they do sell beer and wine too, but who wants to keep getting up and waiting in line mid-meal?)

Tiny child sized, and over cooked, portion for the fish(see picture) and this location charges 50 cent for the same dipping sauce you get free elsewhere. Total for a weak portion of fish with lots of sweet potato chips came up to $ 13. Which is a lot to pay for dissappointment considering what you can get for $ 10 elsewhere in the neighborhood. Aside from the food the super slow service here had me waiting well over 10 minutes for fish and chips in an almost empty restaurant while most of the workers were standing around idle and chatting. I won’t come back to this location nor would I recommend it unless your lunch hour doesn’t allow you to get to the other better locations. Food is always tasty from any Schnipper’s but the other locations in NYC will give you a better experience.

Quality beer, wine and food. I know I can count on Schnipper’s when I am in the high priced, touristy area of Times Square and need a good meal.

Its quality diner food. I really like the turkey burger. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookies where great. They make their own chips… they we’re okay for chips. On not much of a fast food gal but for a big diner, I thought the food served to me and other looked tentilizing and I was not disappointed with my order.

Ah Schnipper’s, I knew this day would come I just hoped it wouldn’t. This is the day I have to take a star away from you. After an absence of a few months, I went back to have my old standby: the beet and goat cheese salad with grilled chicken. I’ve noticed since the days when I visited regularly the entire staff has turned around. I used to recognize one or two cashiers, cooks and the woman who I presumed was the manager — and they’re all gone. Now, I almost wrote this review two days ago — but I wanted to go back for one more visit today and make sure I gave it a fair shake and I’m glad I did, but I’m still dropping a star. Here’s why: Back when this branch first opened and for years after, I ordered this salad constantly. It is a delicious mixture of sweet, salty and crunchy. Once upon a time the salad used to come with slices of bread, then for a while it was pita slices, then later it went back to multi-grain style bread. You would get plenty of chicken, so much so that almost every bite of the salad would include a bite of juicy chicken. Now? Not so much. The bread is gone. I thought this may have been an accident two days ago, but nope — after ordering today there was no bread once again. Also, the other day the piece of chicken I get was precut into about six slivers of chicken. It was flattened and really blackened and dry. Now, I enjoy a good grilled piece of meat so I didn’t mind the smokey flavor, but there was so *little* chicken I was shocked. Today I received a few more bits of chicken, but it was still nowhere near as much as they used to give and the chicken was again flatened, burnt on the edges and not very juicy. Here’s the thing — the food still *tastes* great, but you’re definitely getting less bang for your buck than before. I find this very unfortunate since the salad isn’t exactly cheap. On an «atmosphere» note, I don’t know what audience the place is catering to nowadays, but the music was cranked up LOUD today. I was trying to listen to a podcast with my earphones and the music was so loud I couldn’t hear it. The group of six people next to me were practically yelling at each other across the table. It was really quite annoying. I am not giving up on the Schnip. The food is still good, I enjoy the layout and drinks. I just hope perhaps things will get better on the next staff turnaround.

If you’re stuck around the Port Authority, this is a pretty good place to grab a fresh and juicy burger. I’ve been here three times and I finally figured out my ideal combination: Schnipper’s Classic and a side of Onion Rings. The Classic comes with cheese, caramelized onions(YES), bacon(YES), arugula and the Schnipper Special Sauce. Everything I love cooked exactly medium. It’s not a huge burger. It’s just right if you order a side. Speaking of which, their onion rings are perfect. Like good diner perfect. Almost HoJo’s perfect, but that’s the echelon of diner food(RIP). The Chipotle Ranch sauce is good as well. I much prefer it to ketsup. The salads are huge, so if you’re really famished, that could be a good belly busting option. The first time I went I had the Blue Cheese Burger… I wasn’t a fan. It comes with an overwhelming amount of blue cheese. So if you really like blue cheese, I mean REALLY like it, then you might love this burger. I can’t judge you on your unnatural love of blue cheese. That’s between you and Schnipper’s. The drinks are unlimited fountain sodas, lemonade, lime-aid, sweet and unsweet iced tea. The sweet tea and the lemonade has just the right amount of sweet. Which is great because so many places ruin those two items with diabetic coma amounts of sugar or it’s like they thought 60% lemon rind was an acceptable option. It’s table service if you decide to eat in. Lots of seating, and boosters for the kiddies. When I’ve been, people have been well mannered enough to take their tray to the trash receptacle. Thank you! It keeps the place from getting bogged down in trash and it shows that you were raised right. Hug your parents for me. There’s outdoor seating as well. The restrooms are coded so hang onto your receipt for the number. Overall a good spot for prompt diner food.

Great alternative for Shake shack’s long lines! And it’s located right across the park, 2 min walk from Madison Sq subway station. They have a great variety of american food on the menu, burgers, fried chicken, classic sandwiches, mac and cheese, salads and even tacos! I had the hamburger with all the toppings and sweet potato fries on the side! Looooved it! Soft buns, patty was perfectly cooked and not at all oily! I was so happy to order the fries since they are hard to find! And I was very pleased that they were crunchie and sweet, just the way I like it! Next time though, I will order the Schnipper classic! I got a bite from my mom’s and it was really good, the bacon was delicious and perfectly combined with the arugula and house sauce! And the shakes also looked very good! Definitely going back!

This place is good if you are in Times Square and craving fast food. Its a very spacious place with big windows, which creates some of the Times Square hustle and bustle experience while you are eating. The food is a little pricy and the portions are small for fast food but after all you are in Times Square, rents are high and the area is touristy. The staff is friendly, the seatings are nice and spacious. I wouldn’t necessary come back here unless am right there and hungry with little time to spend.

I love this place, every time I come here I enjoy the meal that I get. This was the second option for us because Shake Shack up a few blocks away was packed. Came here with a hungry rating of 6, so I didn’t really have any cravings for anything in particular. Ordered the bacon cheese burger with sloppy fries, and was very satisfied! The burger was medium well, and the fries were what you would expect, nice and crispy, everything was freshly made and delicious. The only negatives I have about this place is that this is the second time I came here and although they do see a lot of traffic, the place could be cleaned up a bit. Both times I came here the trash was overflowing and the tables were poorly maintained, but there are tons of people coming through at any given time and I can overlook it because it’s not that dirty.
