I have been going to Ilda now for several years and have always walked out with a fabulous haircut! I’m going to Hawaii on my honeymoon in March and wanted to try something shorter and daring. I had no hesitation with Ilda. She has magical hands and I’m totally loving my new do :-)) I have gotten tons of compliments already and most importantly my husband who loves long hair was really happy with it too! I have had my share of hairstylists over the years, but I must say sincerely that she is by far the best one I have had. Another perk is that she is so exceptionally nice. Try her and I guarantee you will love the whole experience.

I recently got my hair cut and color by Sheila Chung and I couldn’t be happier! I don’t always know what I want done but she always listens to what I have to say, my concerns, challenges, and she always delivers the very best every single time. Best part is … I trust her judgment and she really takes good care of me. Truth is, I have been going to Sheila for years now and I can honestly say, she’s the best stylist I have ever had. I live in Westchester and I continue to go see her cause I don’t trust anyone else. She was previously at Mingles on 55 & Madison. I am impressed with Salon Ziba and even happier cause it’s right near my office! Looking forward to my next appointment!

It’s been roughly 2 years (maybe more) since I’ve had anything done to my hair and quite frankly, I was really apprehensive about getting it cut. I had heard all about Ilda Plaka from a good friend and decided to bite the bullet and made an appointment with her. The experience was phenomenal!
Ilda was warm, friendly and she LISTENED. which as you know is very important in a stylist! She knew I was nervous and made me feel at ease. She and I talked about what I wanted and she kept my mind off from all the inches I was losing (my hair hit the middle of my back). The experience was super professional, I ALSO adore the guy who washes hair. magic fingers! The time flew by and when it was finished, I was so pleased with the results. The cut/​style brought back life to my hair and I loved how it looked! I will definitely come back to Ilda in the future! Thank you!!!

Just got my haircut from Sheila Chung at Ziba on 57^th street. My haircut and color is awesome! Its the best cut I’ve ever had — she really knew how to give me a new style that really matched my face. And the one process coloring was spot on. She recommended a natural highlight process to dye my greys instead of a traditional all one color dye and the highlights make it look so much more natural.
The salon is also really beautiful and it makes you feel like you want to spend the day there.
I would definitely recommend Sheila if you need a regular cut, need a new style or for anything else hair related!

Salon is beautiful and my amazing stylist Sheila just started here. She is originally from Mingle salon but I recommend Sheila to everyone and would follow her everywhere. She’s amazing with color and cut and hair extensions!!! I was never disappointed, makes me feel like a Victoria’s Secret model every time I leave her chair. And I’m so glad she started at this beautiful and clean salon where the staff is friendly! Yay Sheila!

I experienced «„„ – One — Smooth — Hair — Ride – ““», from coat-​check to hair wash room to be seated by lovely Marc and treated by my elegant hairstylist Eda.
–Loved the hair washing massage which followed by EDA’s immaculate blow out, naturally I will be back and highly recommend her !!!–
Besides talented Stylists, here are brilliant colorists with years of experiences. If you wish to complete your look, three professional make-​up artists providing consultations and knowledge of varies make up styles.
For special occasions, bridal services, celebrities … Ziba offers VIP-​services. Even a V-​I-​P room is available where breakfast, champagne and other beverages are served.
Ziba means «beautiful» in Persian and besides a beauty parlor, this is a fun place to «Get The Party Started»!!!

Having just opened, I was fortunate to visit the salon for an elite event.
Salon:
The interior and space is just… gorgeous! Big, open, modern, classy, etc. It felt like I was in a club meets fancy hotel that happens to kick as* at hair.
It was clearly decorated and designed carefully, meticulously, and with love.
Owner:
Had the pleasure of speaking with Alonso, and he was so courteous and endearing. I could tell how passionate he is about the hair/​beauty industry. He truly wants to work with the top stylists in the field and deliver great service to his clients :)
Hair wash:
An employee (maybe manager?) asked me what my hair concern was [dryness and damage from coloring it frequently]. Then, he gave his personal recommendation of which shampoo and hair treatment I should get accordingly.
Could have used a tiny bit more scrubbing of the scalp for the actual shampoo, but the mini scalp massage was an amazing touch. While I was lying back with my feet up on a plush, comfortable reclined chair, the flat screen TVs were showing a runway show from fashion week. So elegant.
Blow dry:
My stylist, Byron, consulted with me about what I wanted (beachy waves) and began blowdrying.
Results were great! Didn’t love the way my bangs turned out, but the waves even held up the next day at work! (And no, he did not harden it with pounds of hair spray. It’s very touchable, ha). Byron was very professional and focused on his work, which I appreciated.
In the end, my friend and I left feeling pampered. I can tell Salon Ziba is all about the overall experience and they excel in making you feel like a VIP.
I was almost fooled into thinking I was an heiress or tech billionaire of some sort… Until I walked out of the building.
While I personally would never spend over$ 100 on a haircut because it goes against my hair budget morals, some people do and for those people I would HIGHLY suggest giving this salon a shot!
I would try their color services soon.

Came here for a Unilocal elite event and was blown away by the incredible service. Everyone was so friendly, from the man who greets you and checks you in at the door, to your shampoo specialist, to your stylist. Bari did my blowout and he did an awesome job
The space is well kept and decorated and you are on the second floor with a view over 57^th street. I never make it to midtown usually but salon zita might need to be a special trip!
They use all (and only) kerastase products. High quality.

This salon is amazing! Very clean, elegant, and beautiful. I highly recommend Melissa for blow outs. I didn’t even need to tell her what I wanted she just went for it and it came out amazing. She was giving me so many tips on how to do my hair etc.
My friend had Gregory who did a great job on her hair. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend !!
