Rosas is a solid restaurant for pizza. It’s better than non NYC slices and other has that distinctive flavor you only find here. The space is small but has tables. Employees friendly and accommodating. They received my students and I with open arms. Thanks Rosas you’re the best!

Decent pizza. Not amazing, but decent. Probably more like 3.5 stars but I will be generous and round up. I can only speak for the pepperoni and cheese pizzas. Both were good, but really on the oily side. I think this place is good for when you need a slice in a hurry.

Cheap, fast & efficient service, crunchy crust, good sauce but Dang that’s a lot of cheese. 1.5−2 times more cheese than there should have been! But I was in and out in like 5 minutes for a quick slice of plain pizza. Not bad in a fast food fix, but not great.

Great local slice joint — good sauce and good crust. The best are the grandma and grandpa slices. The staff is friendly and the place is bright and clean.

I love coming to Rosa’s. It’s right by school for me and a great spot to grab an authentic NYC slice. The owner of the restaurant has spent years working to perfect his recipe and it seems like he finally struck gold. The sauce has a great sweet and salty mix, the cheese drips off the slice and the crust is the best in the city. I have been going here every day and will continue. Consider me addicted

This place is really cute. Far above the average pizza place in NY. Nice chairs and tables.

A little overpriced for bad pizza. I usually don’t mind paying more for pizza but this was really mediocre. Just tried their” Caesar salad pizza” it’s just warm salad with a lot of dressing on a slice of bread. Also the plain slices have no tomato sauce.

Sooooo good! You can tell that the pizza was freshly made! Really recommend the white pizza and the cheese pizza. Just amazing! I would recommend though that they make the pizza more toasted(but that’s just me).

This is my favorite small, local pizza spot in Manhattan. The pizza is amazing for the price: $ 2 for a regular slice, $ 3.25 for a margherita. It’s incredible. I eat here every time I’m around. And Union Sq is my favorite spot in the city, so I am here often.

Don’t waste your money on the slice. The pizza was mediocre at best. They use the cheap cheese and crust

Pizza places should — in theory — have an automatic minimum 3 star rating. I mean — it’s pizza; how bad can you screw it up? Especially late night after a few drinks? Well, Rosa’s proved this assumption very, very wrong. How can a slice of pizza be so insipid that I contemplated throwing the rest away rather than walk down the stairs of the subway with it? I’m not sure, but this place definitely destroyed my pizza worldview. From here on out, I will have to be more cautious about what pizzas I stick in my mouth. My pizza innocence has been taken from me. RIP. 1.5 stars. Pros: close to the subway and PATH /open late night. Cons: it is not a good slice of pizza

Solid slice. About two to three bucks depending on the variety. The veggie is packed with broccoli and all sorts of good stuff, and the square«grandma style» pizzas are also quite tasty. They accept card with no minimum, so that’s nice.

Stopped in since we were cold & hungry and we’re not disappointed. The pepperoni and buffalo chicken were absolutely delish. Can’t wait to go back to NYC and try the Grandma’s pizza next time.

Put down that taco bell and walk down the block for a slice! The grandma slice was delicious. Crispy in all the right places without being burnt! Friendly staff & affordable prices… Yes please!

I have a keen sense of when accepting solicitations of flyers on a corner is a good idea. This place was shockingly well-run for a 1975 prices /opening promo(it recently replaced in name and ownership, but the sign and interior are essentially the same). Scored a $ 0.30 regular slice and $ 0.40 grandma slice, both of which were respectable. Staff was friendly and relatively patient, albeit running an inconsistent line, but no customers nor folks behind the counter got angry. They didn’t take cards, but that may have just been for the event. PS the lady out front said same as
