Terrible food, terrible service. I would never go there again in my life even if I were paid to go.

Me and my boyfriend went there today. The atmosphere was great and the food was wonderful. But what made our experience great was are waitress Frieda she was so outgoing and her service was amazing. She was always making sure that we had everything we needed and was super quick. Also the burgers were perfectly cooked and everything tasted amazing. Thank you for making our service amazing. We will be defiantly be returning

«We liked it» We loved the animaltronics– and had a perfect view of the lions and elephants. Our server Brianna she was the best. We loved everything corn chips and spinach dip, and excellent quesdias with a pancake like texture. Wings are great and tender nothing caught in teeth. Ribs and shrimp great… and shrimp doesn’t have to be with coconut either. We got full too no room for deserts… It may be pricey but portions are not stingy… They intentionally have scents to make it smell like grass– rain forest right. Good for kids of all ages.

Visiting This restaurant was definitely a positive experience and a great way to end our visit to Niagra Falls. My kids loved the animals and were fascinated by how real they looked. The game room was a nice addition and also a great incentive for getting my younger ones to clean their plates. The food was great. A lot of times themed restaurants are lacking in food quality, but not this time. I have included pictures. The store manager Clayton is great with kids. He made our experience special. I appreciate how he treated my family. I am a frequent user of living social and Groupon deals. A lot of times I find that businesses treat you differently when you mention that you have a discount through these services. Sometimes I dread mentioning that have a voucher because it usually effects the service especially at restaurants. Clayton did not treat my family any different and welcomed my business. This made an impact as I have had less than satisfactory experiences in the past. When visiting Niagra Falls, the The Rain Forest Café(Sheraton) should definitely be a priority in your list of things to experience.

Went here for the first time last night the service was fantastic the ambience was very nice and the food was absolutely delicious may be a bit pricey but well worth it especially the large tropical drinks and the manager came by to see how everything was and out waiter was not only friendly but very attentive.

The ambiance and food quality delivered to the promise. We did have to suffer through some operational issues, though. It was Christmas night and Rainforest Café was one of the only places open. This, perhaps coupled with unseasonable warmth, saw the restaurant horribly overwhelmed and short of staff. There were long wait times for seating and food delivery without the restaurant even being fully sat. They were very honest about what to expect, though. It’s unfair of me to rate primarily on the service because they were in a position to fail, and they acknowledged that. The food was pretty good, albeit overpriced. I hadn’t been to a Rainforest Café in at least 12 years, and I won’t be rushing back. You wouldn’t have to talk me into eating there, though. I just might ask«is there somewhere cheaper?» Or «For that price, let’s go to…»

We go for the atmosphere more than the food. Decent food but you are overpaying for the atmosphere, definitely not worth the price you pay for it. If you go get the volcano.

Sometimes I am nervous to go to a restaurant with a Groupon. I often feel the service is not as good as when you’re there paying full price and that everyone is not quite as friendly, however this was NOT one of those times. I took my kids out for a special treat, and we had the best service from the minute we walked in the door until we left hours later after eating, shopping in the retail store and playing in the arcade. The food was great, as always. Three of us had the Flat Iron Steak Combo with shrimp, and my son did the kids meal with ribs and mashed potatoes. Food was high quality, cooked to the right temperatures and very tasty. The atmosphere is so fun and the service we had was super. Can’t wait to go back again!

Went here for dinner last night. We walked the wholeeee day so we were tired and hungry and ready to go to sleep after a «good» dinner. We got a table quickly but it took about 15 minutes for the waitress to come and take our drinks, we were ready to order so we ordered our meal right away and a appetizer. Drinks took another 15 minutes to come to us. After 20 minutes we asked her where was our appetizer she answered with«you want an appetizer?», mm yes we told you?. Well, everyones food came after 10 more minutes EXCEPT mine, she said it will come in a couple of minutes. My food arrived 20 minutes later when everyone was done with their meal ITWASCOLD and oh and our appetizer was still not in our table. We tried to be as patient as we could because we all work in a restaurant and I tried to understand that sometimes servers get overwhelmed but she was just not trying at all to make our time there feel comfortable at all. After I was done she came back with the«are u still thinking about those nachos???» Like really??? We didn’t complain at all but I was not happy at all it was literally the worst service ever, not even a manager asked if everything was ok. We were there to have a good family time after a long day and it just got worse…

I had my birthday lunch there in August. There were six of us seated in front of the Tigers I must admit at first we enjoyed that we were so close to the animatronics, but after repeated roars in our ears, it became obnoxious. A little too loud which adds to the dramatics, but maybe not as often would be the better experience. It was hard to hear one another in conversation and had to stop until after the jungle quieted. I thought the food was pretty good, but portions were oversized. It would be nice to have a menu that gives more reasonable portions with prices to match. It was a cool experience and staff was friendly and efficient. We got there right at opening. I am going back tomorrow(10−10−15)for my grandsons 8 yr old birthday lunch. I think he will enjoy it. Little ones there were frightened.

Showed up for an early dinner before heading over to the Seneca casino. We were seated promptly in the elephant room in a banquette. A manager finally asked if we had been waited on after about a 15 minute period, we said we had not, and he had a waitress come to our table immediately. We ordered a bottle of wine(celebrating a birthday). The young waitress brought the bottle to the table with the corkscrew inserted into the cork, but she either didn’t know how to serve wine or she was underage? We proceeded to open the bottle ourselves. We had a steak/shrimp combo dinner as well a shrimp dinner. Both were cooked properly and arrived at the table at the proper temperature. This is not groundbreaking cuisine but was delicious and filling. There are other restaurants in the area that we might try before returning to this location, but for a solid, satisfying meal, you cannot go wrong here.

I enjoyed my dinner here, but I found it fairly pricey. The waitress talked us in to some frozen adult beverages, which just tasted like smoothies, nothing special. My husband and I’s meals were good and were large portions. The salad can’t be used as a side, so you pay an additional $ 4 for that, but it’s a good size. I found the coleslaw wasn’t that great. Our waitress was very good and attentive. The atmosphere was fun, there’s a «rainstorm» every 30 minutes and the animals come to life. Before we got to the restaurant we tried to look up the menu/prices online, but the prices weren’t listed. So, just be prepared to spend at least $ 20 on an entrée.

We went to rainforest café yesterday for my niece’s 8th birthday. The atmosphere is very kid-friendly and they have a lot to keep the kids busy while their meal is being made, which I appreciate. This location is inside of a hotel with an arcade, so there’s even more to do here than at some other locations(so I’ve heard). Every 10 – 15 minutes the«rainforest» has a storm and all of the animals go crazy… there’s no warning though so it always caught the kids a little off guard.(ok, and maybe some of the adults, too…) The menu had many different options, so I feel like anyone could find something they like when going there. Something you WONT like, however, are the prices for everything. Ranging from $ 15 and up, everything on the menu(whether its a measly salad, or a pasta dish) is atleast $ 10-$ 15. Even the kids’ drinks(in plastic souvenir cup) were atleast an additional $ 10 to their kids meal order. It took our server a long time to get our drinks to us, and although we were a table of 8, a lot of us got just water and it was a Monday night where they weren’t very busy so there is really no excuse for that. We knew at that point it would be a little while until we got our food, so we prepared ourselves for it. When our food did come, it was all made correctly and just how we all ordered it. My boyfriend got the rainforest burger, and it was SO good! I wish I would’ve ordered that, but I went with the chicken Caesar salad, which was pretty tasty in it’s own right. My boyfriend’s mom got the rotisserie chicken and it came with so much that she wasn’t able to finish all of it(I guess that means it’s worth the $ 20), and she said it was pretty good. The kids both got chicken nuggets and fruit, and they said they tasted just like Denny’s…which is a compliment from them. I don’t know what the rest of the table got, but I didn’t hear anyone complaining. We ordered the sparkling volcano for dessert, and they came out and announced G’s birthday and everyone in the restaurant clapped and sang for her! That was a nice touch, and I’m sure she felt special :) The rest of us felt special, too when we got the bill and saw her dessert was $ 15! Happy birthday to us! In their defense, it was big enough for all of us to split… although I don’t think it tasted too extraordinary and I could’ve definitely made something better at home for cheaper and brought it with us… kind of a shame. All in all, like a lot of my reviews, I like this place and the food they serve is tasty for the most part, but with a $ 200 bill(without tip) at the end of the night, I would’ve definitely been pissed if it were me paying for it. You are truly paying for the rainforest experience, so you have to ask yourself if seeing your kids’ eyes light up when a fake gorilla starts beating his chest is worth $ 250.

We enjoyed both the adventure and the meal, honestly, meal didn’t surprise us but we liked it. My suggestion, the red skinned mashed potatoes side is definitely worth it to try.

We had a wonderful time at the rainforest, yet again. We love visiting here at Niagara Falls, and when with the kids we always have lunch or dinner at the rainforest. Today was my oldest sons 6th birthday and as per his request we of course chose this to be THE place we all have dinner! Once we were shown to our table, it wasn’t quit my preference of location(special occasion) and had asked to be moved, to be frank; we moved twice– with no issues at all, until we finally settled at a very cozy booth next to the lovely aquarium. As we enjoyed our delicious dinners(gluten free options were available) we also enjoyed a fun ‘storm’ which was every 15 mins! As the stars twinkled above our heads and would witness a mini meteor shower, The food was very well cooked and seasoned,(my side salad was slightly soggy but still fine) and we enjoyed our waitress who was bubbly and sweet. The souvenir cups were a great little ‘take away ’ once again, and my son was totally thrilled with his FREE birthday Sunday covered in candles(which we provided) a happy birthday song and they gave him a massive ‘shout out’ and so did the whole restaurant! This restaurant is well kept, in an amazing location! We stayed at the Sheraton, so we were thrilled to have this restaurant attached to it, along with the water park, arcades, casino, many other restaurants, and of course right at Clifton hill where it’s the heart of the party! Great experience can’t wait to be back and try their gluten free pasta!

Prices are slightly steep for what you get — — $ 16 for a big ice cream sundae??? $ 20+ for an entrée??? But — service is great, staff is large, and you are never left wanting or needing more! You can also buy souvenir cups with your drinks for about $ 5 more, but the kids’ menu drinks come in small plastic cups that you could totally take home and re-use! The in-restaurant store in here is the smallest I have ever seen… which means no aquarium in the restaurant and all the moving things(the tree, the snakes, etc) are actually IN the dining room. However, they have an alligator wishing pond when you first walk in which is awesome! The hostess stand is located through the gift shop, up the stairs, and to the right. Bathrooms are located further up the hallway and on the left.(hard to find if you haven’t been there before) Located close enough to the State Park to walk(you don’t need to move your car) and big enough that even in the summer, the wait isn’t long if you go a bit after lunch time. Food is decent! And the«show» that goes on is fun and will get your kids quiet for two minutes while they watch the lights dim and the«lightning» start! :) If you have kids with you, get the chocolate pudding«sundae»(lava mud?) from the kids’ menu for dessert — totally worth the $ 2.50 you pay to get it(two kids could easily share… unless they are my kids and they have a no sharing anything rule — lol). Overall: I may come back so my kiddos could make a wish at the alligator fountain, but may not come back to eat.

Was here with friends after a family reunion and time at the falls. It is a quick walk to the resturant and we saw a little golf cart driving around with an ad on the roof for Rainforest Café. We are members of Landry’s Select so we got seated fast. Food was good overall. Service was a little slow. We had about 12 in our party and the waiter seemed to have missed on person in the party. We asked him if he got everyone to which he replied yes. Later we asked again while he had his book and yes this time he admitted that one was indeed missed. We placed that order and it came right away — in fact almost 10 minutes before the rest of the party. It was ok as he got a head start on eating, as he is the slowest eating child. Good drink service overall and all items were correct. The Fries we’re way too salty. no need for this much salt. Upon leaving it was raining and the little golf cart kindly took us back to the car. This alone upped my * rating for the resturant. Had the service been a little faster, fries more enjoyable and all people received their food at thw same time it would have been a 5*

Went to Rainforest Café on 3rd St in Niagara falls, NY for lunch today with a friend. The atmosphere was nice with all the animals, and the indoor thunderstorms were cool too. The food and drinks were pricy though, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and it was 15.00, had a rainbow colata is was delicious. Are waitress was nice, but the lady seating us wasn’t we got seated near the bar, but we really wanted a booth by the animals, and there were several that were vacant. Overall it was nice to go to once but I don’t think we’ll go again.

Rain forest café is located in the Sheraton hotel direcly next to TGI Fridays. The theme here is as the title of the restaurant states, a rain forest. There’s many topical like plants and animated animals located inside as well as a thunderstorm that goes off every 15 minutes to make you feel your in a forest. This is definitely something children and families would enjoy. Given the location expect to pay tourist area prices, so don’t be surprised when their number 1 seller a bacon cheeseburger pushes the $ 15.00 mark. If you want cheap stay up by the outlet malls and RT62. Draft beers and mixed drinks are also marked up, but in return you get to keep your collector glass. For dinner I ordered the pastalaya with rice instead of linguini with a side salad that will cost you another $ 3.99. The salad was ok but nothing special. Iceberg lettuce with a few veggies mixed in. The pastalaya was a hit with me! Sausage, shrimp, chicken with a spicy sauce that gives their version of jambalaya a new twist! This definitely had the right amount of heat to it, perfect! This was a decent sized plate too! I’d order this again in a heartbeat! I think the staff still needs some fine tuning as well since this place is new, it seemed as if their tables where spread out and our checkbacks from the waitress where far and few in between. I’ll come back, but not often since I’m a local and know where to go without paying the tourist prices.
