I ordered an Italian Combo and it was actually horrible. Im going to try and post a picture of it but the sandwhich has one piece of ham; shredded mozz and a few pieces of lettuce. I was truly disappointed and I have never wrote a review until now. The delivery was on time and fast; but the quality of food is horrible. Im not a picky eater and had to throw out the sand which because I couldnt stomach the amount of shredded mozz cheese that took up almost the entire sandwhich.

This place is more like 3.5÷5. The place is pretty much a hole in the wall, but big on the inside. The atmosphere isn’t too welcoming, but hey, its New York City. The pizza is very good, although not amazing. The pies themselves are big; one should be enough for four people. It’s good for a local pizza joint, and a little on the pricy side.

Quick Slice with Some Soot Overall: 2.25 Stars I enjoy a good slice of pizza every now and then. Ever since I changed work locations from a few blocks over I’ve been having a difficult time coping with my long distance relationship with Gotham Pizza. Enter Pronto Pizza with its short walk and average NYC prices. This quick affair was a sobering experience. Pizza is different everywhere and Pronto lacks in many areas. The quality tastes below average and the cleanliness looks to be subpar as well(despite an «A» rating and a recent move to this locale). My two visits lead many crumbs of soot and thick burned pieces of crust(from other slices) on the bottom of my slices and beef patties. The oven must not be swept(cleaned) often. The service is quick and gets through the lunch rush with relative ease, not to mention it is one of the few places that actually serve alcohol, which is very rare. The one flaw with the quick service is the lukewarm pizza you occasionally receive. My office is located relatively nearby, so the cold weather shouldn’t put a deep freeze on my beef patty after walking for 5 minutes. Pronto Pizza is pizzeria to visit when you have no idea what you want to eat for lunch, and don’t care. Overall the pizza is ok, but there are better options around the area and at a lower cost.

We had just arrived into NYC and was walking around our hotel for a place to eat for dinner. We wanted to try some authentic NYC pizza and came across this place. We ordered the 19″ meat lovers pizza and it was delicious. He piled on lots of meat and it filled all of us up. The cheese was my favorite as he put a lot on and it stretched every time I took a bite. The total was $ 40 including drinks and tip, which wasn’t bad considering there were 5 of us. The dining area could use some sprucing up as it was kinda dirty and there was no A/C. We were sweating a little bit. Overall, a nice pizza place.

You find yourself in midtown. Hungry and not sure where to go. This is the place. $ 3.00 a slice if that’s what you can call it. Keep it simple and don’t put anything else on the Pizza. AC doesn’t work. So, try going in the wintertime. This place is not what anyone would call New York Style Pizza. Soggy, semi tasty sauce and pricey. Midtown joint for the tired and hungry around Rcck Center.

One of the best pizza I had while in New York! Not a fan of it costing $ 3 per slice though. Friendly staff.

I must have the pizza every time I visit New York. MUST. Outside of the mumble and jumble craziness around Rockefeller is this gem. Nothing fancy shmancy… just your good ol’ New York pizza place. Staff is very friendly and hospitable. They almost even feel like family. The service is always mighty quick. But the pizza. AH the pizza! So much perfectness in this hot, crunchy, cheesy, greasy(not too greasy!) triangle. Just, perfect. I don’t live in NY and I always find myself craving a slice of pizza from here. It kills me. And then when I visit, I’m in heaven. I would do anything to have this place back home in Miami.

Best ‘Hidden’ Pizza Spot that is in the middle of everything at Rockefeller Plaza! I hit this place every time I’m in the City. Great Food for a good price! The Two Cheese and Drink went up from $ 6.00 to $ 6.75. Hopefully this is just a Holiday Bump!(December 13) I highly recommend Pronto Pizza when you are visiting 30-Rock, the Ice Rink and the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center!

Awesome pizza. Quick and delicious. Expect to place your order once you enter. Employees have the NYC spirit and attitude. We would certainly eat here again.

It’s important to know your own strengths and weaknesses. One of the only things my friend is good for(besides being the coolest guy in the universe) is his able to scout pizza. Being the poor bastard that he is, he basically lives off of it. Which brings us here: Pronto Pizza. His second favorite pizza place to go to back when it was cool to cut school & go to Nintendo World to school dorks in video games and play with Pokemon plushies(we didn’t get laid very often in high school). Not much has changed; I still play with the plushies & the pizza’s still good. It’s not great and it’s $ 3 a slice now but you can’t put a price on nostalgia. Well, actually you can; I guess that’s why I’m rating this place. But the slices do have their qualities. I came in today to see if I could rediscover the taste of my youth & I was welcomed into the loving arms of my past self. They finally caught up to the times and bought a device to take cards. None of that ATM fee bullshit anymore. As much as I was disappointed with the quality of the pizza, I can remember why we loved it so much. The selling point for my friend was how cheese heavy they were(without being overly greasy). So cheesy, my swag’s got high cholesterol. But for me it was the bread. The texture of the slice was of a crispy fluff. The way your bite transitions from crunchy to fluffy is almost mesmerizing and really, mind boggling. I imagine it’s one of those family secrets because the workers are 1st generation Italians. I’ve actually had pizza in Italy; this is better. OH! OH! Before I forget, it’s right across from Nintendo World. Super convenient.

Consistently solid, authentic New York pizza. Although it’s hardly the best in town, this Pronto Pizza location provides a great spot to fuel up for an afternoon of wading through throngs of tourists that jam up the plaza year-round. Brace yourself for sticker shock from $ 3 plain slices, though!

Excellent pizza! I got broccoli and chicken pizza and my dad got bacon, pepperoni, and sausage. The crust was flakey, and everything I expected from my first time having pizza in New York!

Not the grestest pizza. They definitely service tourists and workers around that have no options for pizza. I think they run daily specials and you can get $ 1.25 cheese slices on Tuesday. Not really worth it otherwise. But Tuesdays are great. Get a slice for about a buck and they sell lottery tix so you can grab a powerball ticket too while you’re at it.

The pizza here is garbage. I’m from Brooklyn, so I know how good pizza is supposed to taste like. I’ve only had experience ordering the plain slice, the Sicilian(square) slice, peperoni and the chicken slice(with this stale looking Teriyaki/BBQ sauce on top). The plain slices are ok, but everything else(particularly the chicken slices) are not up to par with what you can get elsewhere(or in Brooklyn). Mostly tourists or people on their lunch break come here. Inside is hot and poorly ventilated, so they set up huge fans on different corners of the establishment to make up the lack of air flow. The place is dirty, the pizza is expensive and you’re better off going to a «2 Bros Pizza» dollar pizza joint than this dump.

We went back to Pronto pizza(as I mentioned we would), and the pizza was still amazing and fabulous. Why did it lose two stars? Because someone associated with the restaurant(I wasn’t sure if it was an employee or a delivery guy) walked in with a LITCIGARETTE. Shame on you, Pronto. Subjecting us to secondhand smoke is no way to treat your customers.

It looks like NY Pizza, it is pizza in NYC after all. But given this place is in NYC, have to give it a 2. Pizza was just okay, typical NY style, a bit of grease. Had 1 sausage and 1 pepp. GF had a cheese. They were all just okay, might get a 3 somewhere else but given so many other pizza places in NYC wouldn’t come back here again. If you are around Rockefeller Center and have to have pizza, get it… Cheap and filling. Place was super smoky with a haze when we went in, must have been burning something in the oven.

If you need a slice after visiting Rock Center or poking your face in at the Today Show, this little place is a 30 second walk away. The slices are pretty good and they’re quick. Plenty of seating in this place, unfortunately not frequently cleaned off.

Popped in here for a couple of plain slices to-go. The pizza isn’t that bad, it’s just not that good either. The cheese was lower-than-average quality and the crust tasted exactly like Tombstone’s Rising Crust pizza’s crust. Not that that’s bad, but, once again, not good either. I won’t be coming back, because with all the other pizzerias in New York City there are better options out there that have higher quality for a comparable price. That is, unless I wanted to play Keno. They do have Keno.
