Best pepperoni slice ever!!! This pizza is addicting!!! It is so so good! Full of flavor and just the right amount of crisp! Highly recommend to anyone! Simply my favorite!!! Have been coming for years and will continue to do so!

I love pizza so my girlfriends friend recommended this place and it was exactly how she described it! The pizza slices are big and the quality is great! I’m giving it four stars because it was 500 degrees inside and they have no air conditioning. If your in the area and you want good pizza this is the place to go

The sauce is soooooooooo amazing. Definitely have to try the original slice. I got the pepp it was kind of overwhelming because there was so much pepperoni, but that sauce is so good. For those who don’t like pepp but want that experience they have one similar with no pepp.

Five star pizza in a five star pizza town. They make their own mozarella and sauce(as they should) and the pizza is delicious. Order by the slice in this hole in the wall pizza joint and never look back.

Thin and crispy — with generous topping. Price is right too. The only thing they do not have is a place to sit. Weekdays at lunch — not Much of a line. But they are fast anyway — New York minute — so for a good pizza, I waited — line out the door but maybe only 10 minutes wait. They were out of prosciutto balls — I will have to get them next visit. You got it, I shall return!

This is a conflicted opinion from me with caveats. I’ll put this right out there: PSP has the best sicilian/square slice I have EVER had. Seriously, ever. The outer crust is crispy and crunchy, while the inside has the perfect softness and chewiness. And they put tiny pepperoni on them! You don’t see pepperoni sicilian slices, like ever! *Drooooool* Caveat #1: I only tried their sicilian with pepperoni. I’ll have to come back to try other ones. Caveat #2: Regardless of Caveat #1, Joe’s Pizza is still the best. PSP’s regular cheese slice didn’t *look* as good as Joe’s, and Joe’s sauce is better than the sauce on PSP’s sicilian. Also, Joe’s is marginally cheaper, which brings me to… Caveat #3 — $ 4 for a single slice of pizza is high, even by NYC standards. I’m not sure how much a regular slice is here, but to keep the comparison going, Joe’s is $ 2.75 for regular and up to $ 3.50 for sicilian or fresh mozzarella. But none of these caveats are going to keep me from coming back here next time I need a slice near Bowery.

Woe is me! I’ve just discovered this awesome pizza spot, and I don’t live in the area anymore. But whenever I’m around, I know I’ll be dropping in for TWO of their Sicilian slices. That’s how good it is. One won’t be enough! My husband and I stopped in this past weekend after a bit of shopping in Soho. I ordered the plain cheese Sicilian(square slice) since I figured it would be a dense, heavy slice. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It’s lighter than your average NYC Sicilian with a wonderfully flavorful tomato sauce and the perfect amount of cheese. The crust is akin to a bread stick — crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s so good, you might want to start with the crust and work your way in.(Gasp!) Considering that it was a sweltering hot and humid afternoon, I wasn’t sure if pizza was quite the right lunch choice. However, it was absolutely perfect, and we both ended up back in line ordering another. During my second round, I ordered a Sicilian slice with pepperoni. In general, I’m not usually a pepperoni person because I hate oily pizza. However, these mini pepperonis were amazing! The edges are perfectly crisped and don’t grease up the slice. And they don’t skimp on the pepperoni either. In fact, they stack two pieces of pepperoni on top of one another! This pizza joint is teeny tiny and does not offer any seating. Each side of the room has a small counter where you can enjoy your slice, and then head out. The walls are lined with photos of various celebrities eating at the pizzeria. It seemed like every Italian-American actor from the tri-state area was featured on their walls. It has an authentic old school feel, which feels like a total miracle considering what the area is like. If you’re looking for the classic round pie, they sell those too. I overheard people discussing the margherita pizza, and they seemed really happy with it. Seems like you can’t go wrong here!

3.5 When I’m craving pizza I usually go to Champion Pizza on Cleveland because I can get Eileen’s right after. But I’ve been trying to cut back on sweets so I’ve reverted back to the good old Prince Street Pizza. Back when it was Ray’s, it was my parents favorite pizza joint. I don’t know if they changed management when they changed names but they still come here! A Margherita pie comes out to $ 23. I recommend letting the pizza cool a bit first so the cheese can harden and settle. Someone got ahead of themselves and pulled a slice as soon as I set the box down, and the cheese just slid right off, pulling all the sauce and basil off too. Perfectly thin crust, but could be a little crispier. The sauce is on the sweeter side, but it works with the light bitterness of the basil. Could add more basil, but that’s just my preference Generous helping of mozzarella, though. :)

This is the Real Deal Holyfield! I know this is a bold statement and extremely controversial, but I’m going to do it anyway… This is the best pizza by the slice in NYC! I had the Pepperoni Square(Sicilian style) and my husband had the Margarita pizza. Both were great. I believe the Pepperoni slice steals the show. This place is no frills, barely room to stand along the wall and eat your slice. So either find a small spot along the wall or get a slice to go and walk and eat. It’s all about the pizza and they know what they are doing!

When someone says«it’s a hole in the wall» they mean this place. Literally about 5′ by 10′. There is very limited counter space for eating, maybe room for 4 ppl. You get in line, it was about 7 deep when we arrived at 1:00 on a Friday, go up yo the counter, tell them what you want, pay and get out. Don’t worry the line moves fast. We just had lunch but wanted to get a slice on our way to eating through New York. We researched Unilocal and decided on the spicy square. A perfectly baked piece of pepperoni heaven. Crunchy on the outside chewy and airy dough inside. The crust was a little bit thicker but it was good. The pepperoni was nice and crispy with just a hint of spice. They have photos of the staff with various celebrities that you can check out while waiting. If you’re in the area do yourself a favor and come in here to grab a slice! We are ours on a near by bench.

I was visiting my Pizza fanatic friend and she recommended this spot to me. It’s a small establishment with a couple of bar stools on each side. I was staring at all the pizzas, but couldn’t figure out which ones were vegetarian. I went up to the cashier and she said, you didn’t figure it out yet? Go back to the left side and figure it out. Hmm. I like this NY attitude. Anyway, the gentleman on the left side pretty much told me there was one pie I can eat. I picked it. And I loved it. Moments after I had ordered, the place was packed! I almost felt guilty eating inside because it was so crowded, but it was too darn hot outside! I ended up stuffing my face while rubbing elbows with a bunch of construction guys eating next to me. One of them asked if I wanted garlic. I was not used to that as a topping, but I’m glad he offered it to me. Mmm. Writing this review makes me wish I had another slice of Prince St. Pie with me…

Have only been here twice, the first time I went with the slice that my friends’ vouched for… the Spicy Spring! You know those times when you get that one really awesome thing on the menu, and you can’t try anything new? This is one of those moments! The second time, I went with Spicy Spring, but tried it EXTRACRISPY(a recommendation I opted out of on the first visit), and already, something that I thought couldn’t get any better, just leveled up lol. The pepperoni slices are small but thick and there’s an abundance of them on each slice. The sauce and fresh mozz is classic, but what I really love is the pizza dough; crispy on the outside and fluffy as a mofo on the inside! Service is straightforward, you order, you pay, you get your slice of heaven. I also love that there isn’t a minimum for credit cards. I DO recommend that you bring cash to speed up the process! I definitely want to try the other slices but it’s gonna be a while before I get tired of the Spicy Spring ;)

YES, I would like a piping hot square slice. Or any slice. And it needs to be from Prince St. Pizza. Here are your need to knows: 1. That Spicy Spring though. Bring me one of those everyday please. It’s amazingly cheesy, the right amount of greasy, and hits that pizza craving like no other. 2. All square slices are basically perfect. 3. Always a line so you have time to decide how many slices to get. But the NYC-humor-filled staff make ordering your pizza so much fun. 4. Standing room only. During peak hours, be prepared to fight for your spot. 5. Bring napkins with you. It will get messy in the best way possible. 6. It really feels like NY up in here. Which make it another reason why you NEED to stop by. PSP is the way New York pizza should be: delicious, fresh, filling, and affordable. You need to come here.

I’ve been seeing a lot of pictures of the square pepperoni slice pop up on my instagram feed lately, with the nice little pools of oil in the pepperoni, but for some reason I hadn’t really thought to come here. But over the weekend I found myself in soho, around lunch time, after going on a looong walk from south street seaport, and was contemplating lunch. I happened to run into my cousin and his girlfriend on the street, and he had suggested a few places and prince st pizza was one of them. I was only a block away so when I saw the store front I figured I would give it a try. This place is tiny. They have some counters and stools lined up against the wall, but this definitely seems more like a place to take out from. The line was to the door, but not that long, like I said the place is tiny. So I waited, maybe 10 mins total to get my pizza. I was solo so I grabbed a seat along the counter and ate my pizza. It was really good. It was oily, but that’s how it’s supposed to be, and soo soo good. It definitely didn’t disappoint! It’s a good place to remember when I’m down in soho looking for somewhere to grab food solo.

Pizza is one of my staple foods. I could have it every day and never get bored of it. Prince St. Pizza is a very friendly neighborhood pizzaria that gets packed especially during night time hours when the city comes alive and people either fill their stomachs in preparation to get tossed, or come because they already are tossed. Prince St. Pizza is that perfect place post or even mid-hangover. Favorites here include the spicy pepperoni Sicilian slice and the Margherita slice. Its not a very big space, there’s only some corner stools and a little shelf that functions as a table to the right wall so if there’s no place to sit just take it to go, real New Yorkers eat their pizza on the run anyway LOL.

I LOVE this place!!! It was my first time here yesterday and I was super satisfied. I tried a Pepperoni Square and a Margherita Square, and they were both soooo good. The only downside is how small the place is. It was pretty crowded and everyone was just cluttered all together. If they expanded the place somehow then it would be perfect. But other than that, I will be back!

It’s only write ;) that my first NYC review is about my favorite pizza joint in NYC!!! Oh my Prince St. Pizza what would I do without you in my life. I’ve gone a bunch of times I can’t even count anymore, but my last visit was like my first in that I ordered the pepperoni square. That’s literally all I eat from there and it is HANDSDOWN the BEST pizza I have EVEREATEN!!! Oh and you need to ask for it extra crispy! From the extra crispy crust on the outside to the very soft and puffy dough on the inside. It is perfection. From the yummy melted cheese on top of the pizza to the pizza sauce under. PERFECTION! And then to the perfect little pepperonis that curl up when put in the oven. On gawd. PERFECTION! My mouth is actually watering as I wrote this review! It’s so spicy and yummy argh I’m gonna book another flight to NYC just for the slice ahaha. Not surprised one bit but that’s the signature slice here. At all times of the day you’ll have a line waiting for it. Sometimes the line reaches out the door! New York pizza comes with New York attitude. Haha I’ve had my share of arguments with my main guy there LOL. IDK his name but it’s all good! Best pizza in NYC. Check it out!

Oh, hey, I just met you and this is crazy. But here’s number, delivery to me. Location: Soho, little Italy, and everything in between seem to be awesome spot for food. You can hunt for some cuba cuisine as well as some delicious pizza treat. I have been longing for coming to this place since day 1 I reside in NYC. But calculating calories actually made me stay away from this place for a while. Thanks to the random pizza advice from some friends, I was basically in a fuck-it mood and eager to get a slice of pizza here. I did have some hesitation because sometimes if I have so much high expectation, when I tried the food, I may end up disliking it so much. You know you set the bar too high and you failed it. and your face and your mood is pretty gonna turning to SH*T… But THISISNOTTHEPLACETOLETYOUDOWNANYHOW. the little place is little. Few spots for seating and you may always end up standing and eating with your friends. I was intended to take some pictures, because there are some celebrities visiting this place and took pictures with the owner. But I am no fan of nobody. So i ditch that idea. I only took a picture of the pizza. because because there’s nothing worthy to compare with those delicious pizza. Pizza: try all of them. HANDSDOWNFORTHEIRCHEESEONTOPOFTHEPIZZA. VERYCHEWY. And the paparoni … is insanely good. I do not have words to describe it. And it ‘s cheap — for one slice — 3.95. but I felt stuffed with one slice. So very a great deal for me! Overall: hands down for the best pizza spot in NYC. I wish I could live nearby and eat forever.

If I told you I had a slice of Prince St. Pizza after brunch, would you believe me … That’s because I was told by my NYC friends that I HAD to have this pizza since we were in the area, even if we had just finished a boozy brunch. It was so delicious, and different than the typical pizza I’ve had in NYC. The dough is crunchy but doughy, the pepperoni was nice and crunchy, and the cheese was so melty. It was such a delicious slice, I was kind of upset I couldn’t eat anymore. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the city! Any way it can be delivered to Miami???

How do they get their thick crust pizza to be so dense yet incredibly fluffy at the same time?! Can’t tell me magic doesn’t exist! Their spicy spring soho square pie are what thick crust pizza dreams are made of. If you’re tired of the typical NY slice, get down here and grub on the finest piece of pie that’ll ever touch your lips! That first bite, so succulent cuz you’ll be drooling the moment you inhale the delicious aroma as it passes under your nose to those parted lips. I’m seriously considering booking a flight out to NY just to have another slice and I’m hating myself for even thinking it cuz that’s what happened to the Unilocal bud who told me I had to try this place. I hate when he’s right :/ Order a spicy spring soho square and don’t forget to «feed» a bite to whichever performer interests you. I’m serious! There’s tons of «celebrity» pics on the wall :)

One of the Best Pizza Squares I have had in NYC. Small place on the lower east side of Manhattan with great tasting pizza. The Soho squares with its spicy small pepperoni slices that turn into pools of Deliciousness and crisp up are so Delicious and the crust is so airy and crunchy. The aroma hits your nose then you take a bite and your drooling stops and your taste buds Thank you for the bite! The sauce is not to sweet or tart has the right amount of seasoning which makes it amazingly delicious. Out of the hundreds of pizza places in the city, Prince Street Pizza is(so far) the only place that I make a point to return to when I visit. I will still continue to try other pizza places, but I will also go here whenever I’m in or near Little Italy. It’s not a big place… most of them aren’t. There are about 10 stools along the wall counters to eat with a couple tables by the window and a couple outside. Don’t worry, people in New York tend to eat their pizza quick, so stools will open up if you’re just a little patient. The wall to the left as you enter is populated by photos of celebrities and the like with the owners who have patronized Prince Street Pizza(a veritable staple of any decent pizzeria). I’ve read reviews where people claim the staff to be «rude» or «irritated» and, while I can’t discredit their experience, I view their attitude as efficient and deliberate. It’s NYC… where people move with purpose. If you’re someone that needs to be coddled and/or can’t make a decision on what you’re ordering, step back and let someone else go first. They’re just trying to keep the line moving and serve everyone as quick as they can. In my experiences, all the staff have been great. I like my pizza simple… not a bunch of toppings. Usually just pepperoni or sausage and cheese. Here the pepperoni takes on almost a bacon-like taste. It has a nice crispness to the edges and is quite tasty. The crust is much the same. Not too much dough, nice and crisp in the outside, firm enough to not flop over, but soft enough to just bite through. The sauce also brings a good balance of flavors. I didn’t go to Prince Street Pizza because of celebrities, endorsements or reviews. We just happened to be walking around Little Italy and wanted pizza and saw this place. We were glad we chose it and will continue to go back.

Didn’t feel like royalty. Perhaps the fact that it was New Year’s Eve contributed to the subpar service, but it left a not-so-hot impression all the same. The guy taking orders was distracted and unfriendly, and people working the register and the kitchen were snapping at one another. As others mention, this small shop is small and a bit cramped with a few tables and bar stools on the side. They list their menu on a chalkboard to the left where the line queues. Yet, when we visited for a quick dinner stop, it seemed most efficient to order from the pizzas they had in their display case given that they were out of a lot of their usual offerings and were no longer making calzones since their fryer was turned off for the evening. I ordered a $ 3.95 slice of Spicy Spring, the famous pepperoni pizza square, which they reheated in the wood oven after placing the order. I enjoyed the thick crust and pepperoni slices, but the pizza didn’t amaze. My boyfriend got it worse. People say their plain cheese pizza is awesome, and he got two slices at $ 2.95 each. If you look at the pictures, you’ll notice that his slices were only 2⁄3 covered with cheese… he was not impressed. I guess the bright side is that the money we saved with these cheap eats went toward our NYE drinks later that night. It worked out in the end :)

The Unilocal listing says this place closes at 11 p.m. but I can assure you that this is not the case. I stumbled in here with two friends after three or four too many drinks late on a Friday night, looking for something to soak up the alcohol. At 2 a.m. the place was just getting ready to close, which meant a declining number of options by the time I reached the counter. I snagged a cheese slice and the very last pepperoni, which was covered in tiny little pieces of red salty wonder. At the moment, I would have given the slice seven stars. In hindsight, while it’s solid stuff, it’s probably not the best slice in the city. So take a way the curve and it’s a strong four star slice.

It’s so hard to pick my #1 favorite place for pizza in NY. But every time I’m hungry in Nolita, Prince St. it is. I always get the pepperoni square and top it with red pepper flakes. I love how the little pepperonis curl up when they’re slightly charred from the oven. It can get pretty packed here, especially during the winter cold. The pizzeria is small and makes for tight eating space inside. When it’s crowded you have to work your way and wiggle to the front to order. I usually get my slice(s) to go and walk and bite. The staff is personal and nice here. If it’s crowded here on your first time, don’t get intimidated by the locals’ easy slang ordering! Sometimes the level of noise is elevated and you just have to kinda go with the buzz it brings. It’s a NY thing :) If you’re having trouble deciding you can always play it safe and get a margarita slice, plain slice and pepperoni square.

Got the square pepperoni which everyone talks about in their reviews. This pizza was not good nor bad. It was ok. It’s the perfect slice to have after a bar crawl and you need something to soak up the alcohol but a piece of bread is just too basic! What I didn’t like is that the slice is 97% bread so after one slice ur already full. What I did like is that the pepperoni is delicious. Don’t think I’d go out of my way to come back here.

This place basically told me how I want my pizza to be ordered. They have the best pizza in NYC. The best thing is the pizza are square. Who says you have to have triangle pizzas right? Crispy bread and crispy pepperoni burnt to perfection. These guys know what the F there doing with pizza. The sauce is sweet and it’s just perfect combination. Best thing is a slice is $ 3.50. I hate it when you go to a glorified place and your paying 2−3x for something. The owners are nice and humble, I love that. Your slacking if you haven’t had a slice!

With so much pizza in NYC it is SO hard to narrow it down, but Unilocalers let me tell you this — Prince St. Pizza is tied for my #1 spot. Skip the traditional slices and opt for the Sicilian, a thick crunchy pie that is cut into squares, this pizza with change your life. And it is almost *TOOGOOD* that nothing you ever eat after this will live up to it. The crunch of the crispy olive oil soaked crust, the tangy tomato sauce, and the natural casing pepperoni that crips and curls in the oven is only the stuff that dreams are made of. Another win? Once you pick your slice, they throw it back in the broiler to warm it up. When it comes out you can hear it sizzling. You can see the cheese bubbling, and you can smell the crust that is crack. Oh my god. It’s so good, this might go on my last meal in prison list…

The Square!!! That’s all you need to know. If you bring a friend, order more than one. You WON’T want to share, I promise. This thicker pizza has a heavenly texture, crusty and crisp on the outside and soft, but not mushy, on the inside. The spicy pepperonis give great flavor to an already awesome pizza on it’s own. The place is small so just FYI if you’re coming with a large group. Their thin slices are not bad but I prefer other places to get thin sliced.
