What a cute spot. We walk by here all the time to our favorite Mexican restaurant down the street and we have talked about coming to eat here sometime. I think mostly because the curb appeal is real nice and inviting. Looks a bit like you what the movies portray of Italian restaurants in Italy on the streets with open patios. Usually, this place is pretty full, on this particular night that I really wanted to eat Italian pasta, we finally decided to eat here and changed our plans from a different restaurant and I think it was a great decision to finally check this place off. I really can’t complain much, we had the restaurant basically to ourselves as no one else was in it. This is something that normally triggers a red alarm in my head, but seeing this place as full as I have in the past, I knew it was most likely cause it was really cold and most of the people liked eating at the patio at this restaurant(again because of the curb appeal). We had their dinner combo, which I believe was about $ 25 which included a starter, an entrée and I think it was a drink or desert. I remember having the bruschetta(which was definitely my favorite ever). This was freshly made and just tasted so good. I am not a big fan of tomato, but man I would eat that every day and pour that over any rice or taco. I believe I had the pasta carbonara which was thick and creamy and a great portion! I truly loved the food here! My partner ordered a shrimp salad which had plenty of shrimp, but left him a bit hungry … why would you try to be healthy at an Italian restaurant?! I had red sangria which was served in a pretty big wine glass and lasted me throughout the dinner. All in all, a pretty cheap dinner and very filling with a candle light setting. As the restaurant was super empty, we had the server all to ourselves and I felt like she was not just waiting in a corner to see if we raised our hands or needed anything, which was great, everyone likes being over attended as much as they love being forgotten. In any case, the food was great, the service was great, the ambiance was bit quiet and dark interiors make for a bit of a low energy room, the dinner deal is pretty amazing! I still remember the bruschetta. Mission accomplished! This is a great second or third date type place, not exactly the first unless it’s summer and you can sit outside in the patio!

Such a find! A small intimate, romantic restaurant with a courtyard, serving Northern Italian food, which was very fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The very personable, friendly owner and staff provided great service, as well. A+ all around!

Lapin and I came here the other day for dinner. The server — the only server did a really good job. There were a couple of people just hanging around and not helping. It seems like a Kitchen Nightmare episode where the owners are just hanging around while the server takes care of 18 tables by himself. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the bathroom is spacious and well kept. We did the two appetizer and two entrée deal for $ 39. Lapin got the tomato bruschetta, which looked like a giant heaping of crushed tomatoes on 4 pieces of toast. I got the house salad which was okay but had a hair in it. The server apologized and offered to bring out a new salad. I got the grilled shrimp which was a giant salad with 4 shrimps. The shrimp was nicely cooked and tasty. The chicken milanese which a giant cutlet underneath a bed of salad. The chicken was delicious but a bit dry. We also ordered a tiramisu which was $ 9. It was delicious but a tiny portion. It was half filled Cosmo glass with cream and two small wafers on the bottom. The house Prosecco($ 13) was really delicious. The food itself took forever to come and was mediocre(could be what I ordered). Some of the other review, noted about the cold food and undercook/overcooked food. While, we didn’t notice any of it. There was a group of people who complained about the cold food and undercook chicken.

I really hate writing negative reviews, but I REALLY wish my boyfriend and I had not come here to celebrate our anniversary. Most definitely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in NY. There were a couple of red flags that I wish I had paid attention to. My boyfriend called to make a reservation and was told we should make it earlier, and something was said to him about needing to accommodate a party. I told him that there are hundreds of restaurants in the West Village, let’s just go someplace else, but he was really set on this spot. There were only three other tables in the restaurant when we got there, and it was still difficult to order drinks and get bread on the table. Our appetizer took a good 35 – 40 minutes to come out, which is fine. I’m out to enjoy myself, I’m not in a rush. But the atmosphere of the restaurant was very uncomfortable. When food was brought out to the other tables, it was constantly being sent back. It either was not prepared correctly, it was the wrong order, or it was cold. The table behind us actually got up and left after sending most of their entrees back. A person at the table next to us waited an hour for their entrée and never ended up eating because it was not what he had ordered. I felt bad for our server, it was very uncomfortable. It’s a beautiful space, but it’s also very intimate, so unfortunately we were in the midst of all that was going on. We made the best of it, and for a while we were convinced that we were on the show, «What Would You Do?» And through all of this I was really just hoping they would change the music! The walls have pictures of The Rat Pack and Audrey Hepburn. Why not play some Sinatra or Ella? They played elevator music, ugh. Our appetizer finally arrived, and it was cold. We were so hungry we just ate it. I didn’t want to bother our server, he had enough on his hands. Eventually, our entrees arrived. I had a pasta dish, it was good, but cold! My boyfriend had a chicken dish, it was overcooked. He was having a hard time getting through it, but didn’t want to bother our server. I sent my pasta back to be heated up. When it came back out it was piping hot and delicious, but it was difficult to enjoy because my boyfriend could barely eat his chicken. They did the right thing with our check and comped our entrees and a round of drinks, and we left our server a 100% tip. It wasn’t his fault that their kitchen couldn’t get it together. But what a complete disappointment! It took us two hours to get through that dinner, and it really put a damper on the night. I’m not quite sure how this restaurant has such wonderful Unilocal reviews. Maybe we came on an EXTREMELY off night, but I doubt it. There were quite a few red flags. And the party that they«needed to accommodate» had yet to be seen, and the restaurant was completely empty by the time we had left, two hours after we had sat down. We’ve already been planning for another anniversary date because that can’t be it. I think we’ll stick with one of our go-to places this time!

It is unfortunate that I can only give this fabulous establishment five stars. This has been the best dinning experience I think I’ve had in my life so far. Staff was attentive and very courteous. I ordered a fillet mignon medium rare an asparagus a bottle of sparkling Peregrino. The filet was cooked to perfection it literally melted on my palate it was exquisite. Chef himself came and presented the meal to us and offered pairings of wines for the meal. Desert was tiramisu fresh creamy and smooth. Again Chef presented us with another desert a crème brûlée freshly made. A meal like this only happens every few years and this one came on right on time. Good friends great food great place.

Great little Italian spot in the West Village. I stopped here before seeing a film at the Film Forum a few blocks away. My cousin and I ordered the two person special, and each dish was tasty. I had the chicken francese and tomato bruchetta, both were solid. I tried a bite of my cousin’s grilled shrimp and it was really fresh. They have a really cute outdoor seating area I’d like to sit there when it’s warmer. Great sangria and ambiance!

Came for drinks and appetizers — Mussels, and tuna tartare were very good. Recommend the cheese platter as well. Good selection and very generous portion. Wine list on smaller side, but the wines we had were very good.

Primo 135 has great service and a cool atmosphere. The food is good but the chicken parmigiana is amazing. It comes with a side of pasta in a Marsala type sauce, it’s so delicious. If you go here get the chicken.

The décor is very inviting and traditional. I enjoyed the service and the wonderful array of dishes. This is a family owned restaurant with some amazing specialties. It was a special occasion that brought me out but now I’m hooked. I also like the fact that the owner is always around making sure everything is perfect. Owner came over to our table and made sure everything was perfect. I like that special touch. Loved the food, service and my long needed night out.

I was walking by and the waiter offered me a free happy hour drink… obviously I loved this spot off the bat. This cute little Italian spot in Greenwich serves amazing sangria with cinnamon, which is apparently the secret sangria has been missing! I ordered their eggplant parmigiana, which is an appetizer but really fills you up! I love their outdoor seating and the vibe is very casual and romantic.

Was not a good experience, I am Russian man, I went at 135 Primo Thursday with my wife for dinner and i expected to go in Italian Restaurant, but over furnishing there wasn’t nothing of Italian. And then not even Italian Waiter. This is very Sad because if I read outside: «Italian Restaurant» and nobody waiter are Italian,(not only one) and the menus has big mistakes«linguini» what are? You maybe mean linguine, and pizza Margarita, maybe mean Margherita? And also others that I don’t remember. People when go in Italian restaurant want ear musicality of the Italian language, people love Italian language, want to feel like if was in Italy, people want manners, Italian elegance that i meet in other Italian restaurant when I was in Italy for a trip. The only thing positive was the furnishing that is nice.

Goodness knows this girl loves to eat! And when I’m hungry looking for a delicious meal but not in my usual ravenous ‘I could eat a cow right now mood’ I would recommend this place. Food is delicious but a little pricey considering the portion sizes. Regardless a great place to eat with a great atmosphere — a date or relaxed catch up with friends. I ordered the branzino, the salmon pasta and a salad. All the dishes were very well done. Only issue I encountered on the night was the service but I think the waiter was just a little up in the clouds that day. Overall would definitely recommend.

Came here with a friend tonight. We ordered the two person special(two appetizers and two entrees for $ 39). The service was great. I definitely got an «Italian family business» feel from the staff. The waiters and servers were all enthusiastic – when we were deciding if we should come in, several waiters told us about how yummy the food is; I rarely see that much enthusiasm in a serving staff. The waiters were very attentive and were fast to address our needs. The chef even came out a few times to interact with patrons. The food was also amazing. Let me tell you that whatever they did to the tomatoes in the bruschetta: it’s really good, I usually hate tomatoes and these were perfect. The pasta is homemade in house and it really shows in its quality and flavor.

Came here for a Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised by Primo 135. Actually having stumbled upon this tiny corner restaurant because all the surrounding brunch spots were full, I didn’t expect a lot. However, the food and price really cannot be beat for the area. I had the steak and two eggs which was cooked to perfection for $ 16! My friends had Eggs Benedict for $ 12 and everyone cleaned their plates. They also have a deal to add bottomless mimosas or bellinis for $ 25. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here for brunch. We stayed an hour after our food was completed to talk and catch-up without any pushy waitstaff trying to usher us out. Will definitely frequent this location again!

Extremely disappointed. Came here well dressed with my girlfriend for my birthday dinner and dealt with the rude balding bartender who refused to seat us outside despite open tables and our reservation. As soon as they found out we had a 20 $ off thing from gilt they treated us like crap.

Perfect restaurant choice for an intimate dinner with an old friend. The interior is very warm and comfortable with dark wood tables, and the cozy atmosphere made it conducive to conversation. We shared the Monte Bianco Della salad, an arugula salad with proscuitto to start off with, and it was quite a large portion so I’m glad that we shared. My companion got the oracchietta and I got the spaghetti carbonara. I had a bite of the oracchietta and the pasta was fresh and tasty. My spaghetti was in a creamy, but light sauce with proscuitto pieces and I finished every last bite. It was warm and comforting and tasted very authentically italian. No room for dessert, but given the appetizer and entrée performances, I’m sure that it would have been incredible. Service could have been better. The waitress started off attentive, but there were several instances where I had an empty cup and we had to ask twice for the check. Definitely check this place out if you’re in West Village, but make a reservation for a weekend dinner because the tables are limited.

Aside from the owner being super friendly and attentive, Primo 135 has a great ambiance and the food is absolutely amazing. My friend and I walked in after noticing the $ 25 weekend brunch special banner outside. I ordered the Salmon Benedict, which came with a yogurt parfait, side salad, and baby potatoes. On the eggs was the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever tasted. Also, BOTTOMLESSBELLINIS.(Or mimosas, sangria, coffee, or soda.) And by bottomless, I mean it. The owner refilled our drinks five times without us asking! Will definitely be coming back in the near future.

One of the best restaurants i’ve been to in years. Great food great atmosphere at a great price. The food here could be found in you’re better hi end Italian restaurants but almost half the cost. A must to dining experience. I give it to thumbs up if you’re looking for intimate dinner for two. Or going out with friends or family. I highly recommend this restaurant… The host and staff was excellen. The fillet mignon wrapped with bacon was simply superb Cook to perfection and at $ 29… It would be a bargain at any price. I highly recommend the risotto ball it’s to die for and the wine they recommend made it that much better This was my third experience here. And every time they gets better and better. Then off for a brunch on Sunday which I can’t wait to try. So I highly recommend this restaurant
