Oh, does this place suck!
After an 90 minute wait (I live a block away), my order arrived. Cold, insipid fried chicken that is jammed into a container with wet string beans. No taste at all. Limp, mealy french fries.
Such a shame. But stay away! Name should be Suck U.

One of comfort finger foods. Unlike most spicy buffalo wings these were lighter and better balanced salty n sweet. Fingerliously good! We literally ate the bones:))). Forgot to take picture until only 4 wings left.
Visited here again: 10 pcs buffalo wings, an oxtail rice platter n fries. A little disappointed this time though. The wings are getting smaller n smaller. Luckily the taste remained. Oxtails are still very tender and off the bone but the portion is tiny. Coconut red bean rice is dry, tough n not fresh this time. Fries are plain. Not worthy of the money this time.

Great wings. Their wings win them their stars, steer clear of their burgers though… those are a greasy mess, but seriously their wings are so good. It’s not really a place you want to sit and eat at, just take your wings and run to Washington Square, or home in front of your TV.

I ordered from this place twice in the past mont for lunch at work. I was a little unsure due to the reviews here, but some of them urged me to try it anyway. SO glad I did. The jerk chicken and 5pc gold wings is a favorite combo of mine.
I think the jerk chicken is nice and spicey (tastes authentic) and the rice and peas is good too. The Gold wings are GOOD! I like my wings on the crispy side and saucy too and they made them just that way.
I’d def keep ordering from here.

Awful experience. If there is hate botton, I will sure give it to Pluck U. The burger is almost raw and tastes like hell. Would suggest everybody NOT to go.

If I could give this place no stars I would. After ordering the 3 piece chicken and curly fries for lunch, I ate 1 piece and put the remaining in the office fridge and took it home for dinner. Even after warming it up in the microwave for a full three minutes I bit into it and the chick was bleeding, no, not just a little pink in the middle but raw, blood in the center. Disgusting! I tried to speak to the manager at the location and no one got back to me. So I complained to Seamless and sent them pictures. They reached out to management and the restaurant refused to issue a refund! (Seamless thankfully did) Well that’s the least of their problems because I have already complained to the DOHMH. If you don’t enjoy food borne illness… STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

The fried chicken was a little too salty and the meat inside could be juicier. But, I like the skin and the fries that came with my combo.
My friend got the boneless chicken. It was ok. The sauce, even though it was mild, was on the sour side.

Love, love, LOVE their wings! I’ve had it in the past when I attended NYU, but this past weekend, I brought some into work for a party we were having, and my coworkers loved it too!

Wings, poppers, boneless wings, chicken tenders, munchers and fries are all deeeeeelicious. Pluck you needs to take over Brooklyn seriously. I’ve been going to pluck you for over a decade now and will praise it 100%. Want nice, crispy on the outside tender on the inside wings then try pluck u. You’ll be glad you did.

Chicken Wings $ 5.15 Served w/​celery and homemade blue cheese. Flavor: Death 5 pcs. ($ 5.15) — weak, barely registered as hot, and a nice gloppy mess at the bottom
Hot Apple Pie $ 1.50 — like McDonald’s, but heavier and greasier… but in a kinda good way — the best part of the meal, but clearly not their own creation given the box

I had wings with «death» sauce. It was not as hot as the cashier made it seem. The wings were fried very well and the jerk chicken with rice meal that I got with it was also great. Awesome wing place.

I was hungry and I came by here since Go Go curry was closed (which is right across the street). Seeing that many people came here out of mere hunger I was happy that I wasn’t the only person on the boat.
I had ordered a fish sandwich with came with fries and a drink. The drink was a standard sized pepsi coke etc The fries were typical fries and had no extra flavor to them. (They were unsalted, condiments and extras have to be asked for while making an order) The fish sandwich was soggy and the vegetable oil can be tasted in the coating of the fish. I ended up not being able to finish my meal and went home with food poisoning and an upset stomach for the rest of the night.

I was hungry and walked past this place and placed an order for fries. Sure, I had to wait a few minutes but when the order arrived I found the fries to be golden and soft with a lot of ‘meaty’ potato on the inside. Really liked the fries.

(I would rate 3.5 but that isn’t an option.) Very good wings. Not great but very good. They are not overcooked. The sauce is a bit sticky and a little sweet. I think they put sugar in it maybe? But for the price, you really can’t beat it. Cheap. Simple. Good.

It’s a very random place to go. But hey when you have that many bars around. This would be one of the places that was nice stumbling onto. Not sure if it was because of the large amount of alcohol in me. But the food was good! It even helped sober me up! with friends. Their chicken was juicy and their fries were good but not crispy. Overall. I would have to come here again to give it another shot. Without being drunk the next time. Hopefully.

I have only tried their most popular offering here — the buffalo wings. They are just okay (very saucy) but nothing special. It’s overpriced too for what is really just a fast food place. You get 5 wings plus small french fries and can of soda for about $ 9. They also offer burgers, wraps, and sandwiches too.

I just have to say the quality of the chicken leaves more to be desired and they overdo the sauce. I feel like I’m eating a wet burrito but with chicken. I don’t think they understand the fact that you marinate and then take out the chicken. I had the BBQ wings and they did not taste like BBQ wings… they tasted like a cheap imitation of Cali wing shops.
The price was a little too hefty for the taste and the quality so not really feeling it here. I conferenced with my wallet and stomach, and both of them agreed with me… 2 stars it is.

Both the golden wings and homemade blue cheese dipping sauce are very good.
The prices and restaurant, okay at best. Other than some tater like potatoes which are also very good, I haven’t had anything else to eat from here. The tater like potatoes were extremely expensive considering how many you get. The prices rival more upscale sit-​in restaurant appetizers.
