Stopped by looking for a dinner. They had something for everyone in my group and the food was delicious. The employees were helpful and chatted with us for a bit as we ate.

I ordered one egg and cheese with hot sauce on whole wheat toast like I do from different delis around the city every morning. I have never paid more than 2.50. Unfortunately during this morning I happened to be in the Times Square area and my sandwich here cost $ 3.81. My bread not toasted and by the time I ate it the bread was gooey, gummy and gross. Also, the vegetables they have in the display case for salads looked very unfresh and mushy.

This place has the best dollar slice in NYC. PLEASEDON’T DOUBLE the price because it is good for a quick dollar slice on the go. I have tried many dollar slices and this is the best. During the Christmas holidays they double the price which is so odd. I think they do better sales when the cost is 1.00. It is not Grimaldi’s but it is as good as Rays. I will continue to go here as long as the price is the same.

Nice people. I came back here second day in a row because their pizza seemed so much better than other places. Looks the same, yeah, but the combination of spicyness, crust, and sauce hit me just right on the Sausage Pepperoni combo. Open 24 hits, there are two tables up front, but more seating upstairs.

I have eaten here on my adventurous New York City visit and honestly had very good food The building(when entering looks like to be an old 7-eleven shop and does not look like a full fledged pizza shop, but you would be surprised on what you can make in the backroom of the place. The building is two floors and on the second floor lies a mini internet café. Sauce and cheese ratio was good and and was made right in front of me. had no problem with the food in question. Why three stars? it really has to do with the customer service and trust issues between customer and management. I ordered four slices of cheese pizza and when I come back down to get condiments, they always assumed that I may have stolen something(does not take long to give them that type of thinking). Overall, the pizza is great with no problems, but they really need to trust their customers with alot more respect rather than treat them as some form of criminal.

RUDERUDERUDE I would give zero stars if I could. They people here at 7AM were standing around talking to each other as I was patiently waiting. They knew I was standing there. I politely said I need to get to work. After making my breakfast sandwich, the cashier told me to get up earlier for work. Will NEVER go here again. If you value old fashioned customer service and good manners — do NOT go in here.

They have a blueberry crumb muffin that is fabulous. I had one every day. They have nothing else here deserving of your attention.

As far as dollar slices go, you’ll get your money’s worth. The other people who reviewed this place seem to think that a dollar slice should be held to the same standard as Grimaldi’s and should be Unilocal’d as such, but it shouldn’t. It was hot. Had cheese. Had sauce. It was a $ 1.00. Wtf do you want?

This is Talaban Pizza, not the«Old time» Italian Pizza I remember when I lived on 45th street. Ladies! Don’t waste your time here! You must order here with a man accompanying you! I was made to wait behind a man that entered the establishment after me because I am a woman. These people need to understand you can not carry this over to the general public venue, in America. Your religious and cultural choices cannot be forced on the rest of us. I will not enter this place again.

Reviewing the $ 1 slice. It’s your classic NY utility cheese slice, but it’s not heated well, and the thing honestly tastes like Pizza Hut with a thinner slice and less grease. Just a very bland piece of cardboard served to you by some gruff guys and one super gruff chick. I’d avoid this place if I had the choice.

Among my co-workers, this place is known as OBD and frequented for its ADP(awesome dollar pizza). I, however, ordered my favorite JSD(Jewish sandwich delight – pastrami, corned beef, slaw, and Russian dressing on rye) and was SAD at the result – sullen and disappointed. It was edible(hence two stars instead of one), but the bread was flimsy and the Russian dressing soaked right through it. There was barely any slaw and the meat frankly just tasted old. Sorry co-workers. OBD is EUO – extremely, undeservedly overrated.

Delis are not my thing, but a quickie fix to go holds me down for solid substance. A Pastrami sandwich with Swiss cheese toasted on a roll made it somewhat salty. When inquiring what recommendations for preparing Pastrami, a good friend plus the server were overwhelming me with various suggestions. There is a good choice of cold and hot foods and caterering/delivery is available. Off Broadway Deli and Pizza sway to the very pricey end and has limited seating. Albeit service is attentive with a courteous smile sitting in the heart of tourist destination aka Times Square.
