PIQ

Found some great things on my visit to NY. I shop at the one in Orlando when I am at the theme park. Was surprised to see it here when we came off our train. There was a young lady that was very helpful and got some prints off the wall that I wanted and wrapped them before my son could see. They had some very unique one of a kind pieces in the glass case that were great. I might buy a couple before I leave. Love this store! Keep up the great work. Glad to see you out of Orlando.

PIQ was so colorful and fun-​looking than I had to check it out. Yes, they’ve got some fun items. Lots of prints, little toys, etc. Nothing that stands out to me right now, and nothing that stood out to me then. I was done in a minute or two.

Great store… staff is a little stiff but very helpful i will continue to shop at this location instead of 50^th street location.

They have selective customer service. Two person working there stand by the door, two customers walk in, only one customer was greeted and that customer was not me.
I brushed that off and went on to look around the store. Everything was ridiculously overpriced! Walked out and for sure, never stepping foot into this store ever again!

This is a great little store.
PIQ was a real godsend when I had to do some last minute Christmas nick nack buying, especially as it is right next to my work.
They have a good selection of gifts and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, without being over bearing.

As noted in other reviews here — the return policy and customer service at this store have made it so I won’t ever be back!
My experience with Piq was actually at the Rock Center store– but it was awful enough that I feel compelled to post it here as well —
I purchased more than $ 400 worth of merchandise at Piq. Upon arriving at home I was unhappy to discover 2 of the items I had purchased in-​store for $ 65 were available online for $ 25.
When I attempted to return these two items less than 48 hours later I was denied. The associate informed me that returns on designer toys are not allowed –despite the fact that the return policy posted on their website indicates that returns are allowed within 30 days as long as the item is unopened/​undamaged/​not one of a kind.
I was not told of this difference in return policy during my purchase. When questioned the associate pointed to a small sign which did indeed state designer toys aren’t returnable — but unfortunately this sign was not in front of the register! The associate also told me it wouldn’t be possible for them to inform customers that these types of items were final sale during the transaction because «they do too many transactions for that to be possible «
To add insult to injury the associate informed me that he was pretty sure my item was in the wrong box — how does this happen with a supposedly sealed item? And doesn’t this basically make my «collectible» worthless?
My complaints were escalated to a manager via telephone. I wasn’t actually given an opportunity to speak to the manager directly.
The whole experience was surreal —
— they have 2 different return policies
–I wasn’t informed of the policy at the point of sale
–they may have sold me an item in the wrong packaging
and despite all of this they won’t take the item back?
Just awful. Watch out!

Don’t buy anything here if you expect it to work and for them to stand behind their products.
Everything they sell here is junk and their return policy proves it. I bought something that never worked correctly and they wouldn’t allow me to even exchange it without a receipt, even with the original packaging with the stores price tag on it.

The place is very interesting and is difficult to leave the place right away. Everywhere you turn, you have to say, «Wow». They even deliver excellent customer service and that is very important. If you are into unique stuff, this will be your favorite spot fo’sho
