Luv this place. Food is fresh and hot. Service is on point. Can’t wait to go back and have some more bacon on a stick

This was one of our fun finds while walking around the streets in New York. Pig Guy NYC sold us on the concept of bacon covered chocolate on a stick … We simply couldn’t resist. I will preface by saying that I’m not a huge fan of bacon but my date enjoyed every last bit of it. I do have to agree that that the combination of salty bacon with chocolate does create for a unique experience. If you’re stopping by the market, I’d say that it’s worth a try!

They came by our office via Fooda, and I was excited to try a new BBQ spot. Too bad the food was just mediocre. Their brisket is stringy and their BBQ sauce is way too sweet. The mac and cheese shells are bland, like a fancier version of what you get with a school lunch. Wasn’t a good $ 13 lunch. The staff is nice though.

I had the $ 18 pork and brisket sandwich topped with slaw to go, picking it up as it was just being made. The slaw was not crispy, and become more of a combined indiscernible topping within the meat. I was disappointed in the slaw flavor. I’m not sure if I was supposed to get BBQ sauce on the side, but I did not and there was none on the sandwich. Definitely could have used sauce. The thick slice white bread was completely soaked through on one half with grease, and is too messy to be eaten like a normal sandwich. The meat itself has a pretty nice flavor, not amazing though. There is nothing to justify a sandwich like this costing $ 18 to be sure.

My mouth seriously waters thinking about the tangy Smoked Brisket on Texas Toast. Served with Thai Chili BBQ Sauce. Served on huge pieces of said white bread, it was enough for a meal in itself. Lot’s of options for sides too but it all adds up rather quickly, I was a smart American and kept to the basics. Part of the Gansevoort market, you have to find a place to sit in the food court. Get some napkins cause it will be messy, although the bread serves as a pretty good napkin to soak everything up!

Seamless delivery(fast) Saturday 05:38PM Tasty American foods Pulled Pork with thick cut white bread sandwich($ 10) The pork wasn’t gamy, not overly greasy, and with a full of flavors. Best to eat this giant sandwich(for me) was to open up the sandiwch as an open sandwich and fold half like a pizza and eat. The thickness of the toast was about ¾″. There was a delicious beets & red cabbage slaw on the pork. Acidity and sweetness of the slaw made everything to shine for me. Smoked Brisket sandwich($ 13) This chopped smokeless brisket that I got was not so juicy. If there was a juicy topping like on the pulled pork or even BBQ sauce that was listed on the menu would help. I added Sriracha from the fridge instead and was a lever idea. Delicious side Potato salad($ 5⁄6 oz) It was mac & cheese potato mash. I think potato is a healthy choice than macaroni, more fibers. Most of all, the salad was a cheesy-creamy-salty deliciousness. Red Hook Red Slaw($ 5⁄6 oz.) It was on the pulled pork sandwich as well but I was happy there was more of this beets & red cabbage slaw. I like meat with a good amount of acidity.
