Pretty good. Not my fav phở place in the city but will get the job done for lunch. Their summer rolls were a fav though. Super fresh and nice flavorful dipping sauce. The phở is nice that it comes in two sizes, both medium and large. Nice you can choose. If someone told me to go back with them I would. Would I seek this place out on my own again? No. I have other Asian favs that this will just sit on the back burner for now.

Not the best by any stretch but relatively cheap, fast, and gets the job done — and a nice variation in an area suffused with Korean restaurants.

Service is very slow, food is average. Would only come back when other neighboring restaurants are full

I would say don’t come in expecting authentic phở. It’s a little different then what you’d get say in Chinatown. The broth seems a little flavorless, the prices are a little high($ 11 for a large combo meat phở) and they seem to not give a lot of meat nor do I see any Thai basil(didn’t ask but thought it would be standard). The reason this place is good is simply because it’s 24 hours and you have a hot noodle soup craving at say 4am. It’s not bad, but good enough.

I’m really glad they offer vegetable brother for their phở but it wasn’t very flavorful. I saw a small toppings bar upfront with scallions, hot sauce, and other items but somehow forgot to go there! I added the usual toppings and hot sauce/hoison and enjoyed the soup, but it was basically just a watery broth, plain tofu, noodles and bok choy.

I come here all the time! Don’t expect incredible service or anything out of the ordinary, just some good Midtown phở. The broth isn’t incredibly flavorful but the noodles are good and the beef and shrimp have always been fresh when I’ve gone. There’s also a wall of sauces(personally, my favorite part) and sauce trays which you can honestly put on anything you choose.

A friend of mine introduce this place to me, and then I introduce place to two friends of mine. Every now and then I keep on coming back to this place just to eat Phở. Things I like about this place is — Phở, it’s affordable — Spacious which is nice Things they need to improve — Employees — They need to have wifi — Costumer service I’m going to be coming back to this place, hopefully with some friends.

Was unimpressed by the phở and summer roll here. I’ve been to the Bayside, NY location and it’s pretty good, but this place is just a shell of that restaurant. Everything looks the same, but food is drastically different. Phở — very weak in flavor and really lacks that depth you would expect in the broth. Pork chops that came with the phở — thinly sliced, only give you probably the size of your palm as a serving. Very little compared to other places. Summer roll — small and tiny shrimp. If you’re looking to get your phở fix, then I get it, there aren’t many choices so you have no choice. But if you’re looking for some quality phở, you will leave underwhelmed. On top of that, prices are much higher than other places. Phở was $ 10.

Phở 32 is a place I keep coming back to because I am addicted to Phở and they are open 24/7, which is unheard of NJ for anything other than a 7 – 11. In addition, the Phở is pretty good. It’s not out of this world, but it’s solid. Comes with the usual accoutrement and they throw in some Kimchee for free. Not bad for $ 12 after tax. So if you’re just coming back from a night of drinking or you just love Phở and it’s 2 in the morning, now you know where to go. Goodnight and good luck!

This is the first phở restaurant that I’ve given 2 stars to. The staff is nice, so that’s a plus. Actually, that’s probably the only plus. The prices are way too high for phở(even for NY). They skimp on literally everything. The regular portion size was incredibly small compared to other phở places and the side of fresh herbs and bean sprouts was basically non-existent. I got plain noodles(no meat) and it was $ 8.50! The prices for phở with meat and seafood ranged from $ 9.25−9.95 for regular(aka incredibly small and unable to fill up a 5’2″, 95 pound girl) size. The broth was ok. My fiancé got the grilled chicken vermicelli. He said it was mediocre and that the portion size was too small(this guy normally eats less than me per sitting). We ended up having to get more food at Woorijip after.

Typical phở place but with a modern interior, they serve great fried spring rolls, we also tried those fresh spring rolls but there’s too much veggies in there and they didn’t taste all that great. By lunch time they are super busy, but service is quick. I must nominate the pork chops, I don’t usually order pork chops anywhere, but my coworker did and gave me a slice, it’s juicy, tender, with the perfect amount of fat and muscle, grilled to perfection. Try some appetizers before you jump to the phở, they give two size options for lunch, it’s a great idea!

Not life changing but a solid bowl of phở. We ordered three bowls of rare beef phở($ 9ish) and it came out quickly. We were kinda deterred by the B sanitation grade but we went in anyways. Unilocal assured it was clean and tasty so we ducked into a narrow restaurant that was able to sit us near the back. Herbs were kinda lacking but the broth wasn’t overly salty which happens more often than not. Bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy, beef was actually rare and not shriveled beef floating in my soup. Drop of hoisin and it was a tasty bowl of soup on a cold day.

Stopped by this phở place because I cannot go without phở, even on vacation. It was empty and service was quick. The guy kind of laughed at me in disbelief because I don’t take my phở with any onions or cilantro AND I didn’t want tendon. So what? Don’t make me feel bad for being a simple girl with picky tastebuds. The phở was bland and tasteless. Sure, it wasn’t oily but that’s because it tasted purely like water with a drop of chicken broth. I didn’t get the usual phở satisfaction I usually feel as I munch down on a tasty bowl of phở. Almost 0 satisfaction as I sip on the almost crystal-clear broth. Oh man. Noodles were almost like eating plain starch. no taste, no chewiness, no ‘phở bounce’. There’s GOT to be a better place for phở, even in new york city. not commenting on the shabu because I didn’t experience it, but don’t think I’d ever go back to do so.

I used to live in Westminster California. Been to Vietnam, had Phở in Philly. Honestly, the place is good enough to good for all your Vietnamese cravings. The atmosphere is also vey clean, vibrant, with friendly waiters/waitresses: The restrooms are also clean and it is in the middle of K-Town. Making it a great go-to spit after an evening of drinking. I especially like how they have a Half-&-half dish of Banh Mi and Phở, what a great combo! I usually order that and am not disappointed. My only gripe is that their café sua da is not as strong and I think they use other type of coffee, however it is original and not run of the mill so it depends on how you look at it. Either way, this place is good and they ate a chain so you live in Jersey they have one in Edgewater as well that also holds the same standards.

«Phở sure!» I absolutely love this little nugget of a restaurant in all of craziness of K-town. I have been coming here for a while for the restaurant’s Phở. While the phở is pretty tasty and relatively cheap, do not come here if you want authentic phở because it definitely falls short. The restaurant has recently added phở«combos» to the menu — a sandwich and a small bowl of Phở. Also, the newly added chopped grilled beef phở was delicious. The meat itself was perfectly seasoned/marinated. After having it, I wished that I had ordered a large bowl of it. The service is pretty prompt. Bringing the appetizers with the phở is the one thing that kind of bugs me about the restaurant’s service. This restaurant is a perfect place to eat for cheap and fast bites

This is a clutch phở and shabu shabu spot when you’re craving some at midnight(or later). Also it’s a fantastic drunk food spot especially when you order phở — you need that extra hydration after a long night of drinking. It’s conveniently located in the heart of K-town so after downing shots /bottles of soju at a nearby K-Town bar, stop over and eat some phở. Ok, pleasantries aside, I do not recommend this for Phở or Shabu Shabu enthusiasts because I question the authenticity of the dishes. I’ve had pretty«authentic»(or what’s been told to me as authentic) phở before and this place, unfortunately, does not compare. That being said, if you don’t really know Phở or have only had it a handful of times I recommend coming here.

After a full day of fun at New Jersey six flags, my friends and my sister decided to come here. For a few of them it was their second time. We all ordered various phở. The soup is clear and healthy but flavorful. We didnt like the drinks too much which were viet coffee and the strawberry smoothie. The viet milk tea was okay. I really liked their shrimp balls. My sister and her friend who had it agreed. Its not a good place to bring a HUGE group like how we were with 11 people. It seems more like an intimate place because tables are mounted to the ground by nails because of the shabu shabu equipment. We basically sat separately. I feel like after eating all that greasy american food, coming here for some healthy clear broth and rice noodles makes me feel better. A perfect ending to a great day for us.

Worse phở I’ve ever had. I knew I was in for a bad experience when the waiter brought out the side greens: Two leaves of cilantro, oddly sliced jalapenos, a wedge of lime, and browning bean sprouts. TWOLEAVES! They can’t even give me a sprig of the cilantro, or god forbid… dare I even mention BASIL! NOPE: Just two picked off leaves of cilantro. The broth is so flavorless and you can see how clear and light colored it was. I was eating lumpy noodles in lukewarm MSG water. No aromatics, barely any beef flavor, just slightly salty. Throw all the chilies in and liberally squirt that Sriracha because that’s all the flavor you’re going to get to make it halfway decent. The meat(beef brisket, tendons, tripe) was tender however; the little that was in there. I also didn’t get any piece of flank which is normally the thinly sliced raw beef on top. For $ 8.95 medium bowl for lunch, it is also not filling at all either as they skimped on all ingredients. On the plus side, no wait for lunch and the staff was attentive and nice.

I came here for Phở and ended up getting something completely different after seeing a rather pathetic bowl of «phở» that people next to us ordered. Phở is supposed to be served in a BIG bowl with tons of noodles, vegetables(cilantro + bean sprouts) and meat. The bowl from Phở 32& Shabu, however, had only a couple slices of meat, a handful of noodles, and a little bit of vegetables. The rice noodles were also much thinner than regular phở noodles. Anyways, I got the Chicken & Onion($ 11.95) over rice with eggs, a.k.a. Oyako Don. It tasted fine and the portions were decent, but for the price I paid, I could have gotten a MUCH better deal(juicer and more tender chicken bits, runnier eggs, more flavorful rice) in East Village. I also could have gotten a MUCH better deal at any of the Korean restaurants nearby that offer unlimited side dishes. I am surprised Phở 32& Shabu has managed to open up multiple locations.

Having a Phở & Shabu restaurant in Korean-town is somewhat unexpected, although I would only come here for the Shabu. I always find shabu dining highly entertaining and fun. And why not, it’s inexpensive and you get to cook your own food. I always order the beef and tripe that comes with variety of vegetables, which include mushrooms, egg, rice glass noodles and vermicelli. To add to the fun, you can also make your own side sauce if you wish to dip your cooked meat or veggies in it(I usually combine Sriracha, Hoisin, and chili sauce together). There’s very little interaction with the waiters here, they will set up your Ingredients, fire up the stove, pour water in your pot and off you go! but they’re always nearby if you need something. It’s also great place that comes to mind whenever entertaining an out-of-towner. I will definitely come back!
