I had carryout from here once, it was solid. I used to go to the one on 1st ave and 109th and this one is much much better. The location on 1st and 109th is awful. Definitely go to this one if you can help it. You get what you expect from a papa johns at this location.

I’d give no stars if that was allowed. This place has one of the worst delivery guys. He is rude, arrogant and doesn’t know how to talk to people.

While yes, I do claim to be a bit of a snob about pizza, there is something about these cheap and tasty pies that makes me order it every now and then. It’s like a politician to a hooker — I just can’t resist! It’s always cheap, I always get a discount and I’ve never waited more than 30 minutes for a delivery. The pizza I order is always consistent and always the way I ask for it. One time I accidentally ordered it with BBQ sauce(not their fault at all — totally my mistake) and it was awful. Otherwise — it’s going to take a lot for me to get rid of my Papa cravings.

stopped by after a few beer at «off the rails» to grab some late night snacks. Got a medium meatzza and some chicken poppers. We were in and out in about 10mins. I have to say, this is fast food quickly!

I ordered on 9÷11÷11, amongst others it was the first football sunday of the year. We usually order from here since it’s quick and cheap. They however really screwed us on this day. we ordered online and after an hour we decided to call. All our calls went unanswered so my friends gracious girlfriend decided to take matters into her own hands and walk down there. There our order was sitting stone cold on a pile of other orders. Only 2 people working, one making pies, the other delivering. Perhaps you stop taking orders if you can’t get them out. To make matters worse they were a-holes to her and wouldn’t give us any kind of discount or break. John Schnatter — This one needs some work bud. Get the Camaro and drive to 92nd and 3rd to shape this place up.

They were open at 6am when we got home from the Pacha after party. We hadn’t eaten in about 19 hours, so it sufficed. Cheesy garlic bread and plain pizza. I had a piece of garlic bread and a slice of pizza while we sat outside the hotel to recap the epic day and night we just had. I hate chain pizza… but I needed something. The garlic bread was good though.

Small little hole in the wall where you can either take-out or get delivery. Standard Papa John’s pizza. However, the last time we ordered, they forgot 2 out of 3 toppings… called in and they exchanged our wrong pizza for the correct one. Delivery is pretty quick, though. The garlic parmesan bread sticks were good. The price is okay for what the food is.

I USEDTO love Papa John’s until I’ve ordered from this place the last two times. This Location is absolutely terrible with service. I used to crave Papa Johns back in college when I was in Buffalo where there aren’t any locations. Now I have this location by my house and they take 2 hours to bring a pizza 6 blocks.(My first experience with this location). Everytime I would call them they would tell me «The delivery guy has just left» «The delivery guy is almost there» over the period of the first hour to the second hour. My pizza came cold, I had to warm it up in my own oven. My 2nd time I ordered from them after many months, I ordered last night. I made my order online and accidentally pushed pay by cash instead of card… So they gave me the number at the bottom of the screen to call the store incase I needed to change anything. The person who picked up was FOB chinese and couldn’t understand English. I kept asking him if I could charge the order on the card and then he said hold on and put me on hold for 5 mins. He came back and had changed my whole order from what was 16.48, it was now 18.99. Apparently he was charging me 2.50 for using card, so I said there must be a mistake, you just charged me 16.48 so please change it back… He put me on hold once more for 5 mins, only to come back and tell me that he can no longer get me deal which I used online. I cancelled my order, saying I’d order again online. Obviously I’m never ordering with them again… I ordered Dominos in the next 2 mins, They were at my door in 15 mins even though they are at a farther location. I know even though dominos isn’t as good, they have a hell of a deal, and fantastic service, which in the end will make out better then the crappy service offered at Papa Johns… I really think the only thing that makes papa johns what it is, is their Garlic Sauce, I guess I can stand to be without that.

I think Papa John’s pizza is alright and in this class of pizza, I prefer them to the nearby Domino’s. Deliveries are pretty quick and you pretty much know what you’re going to get each time. There are typically specials online that make it a pretty good deal.

Now this IS a college throwback! A can’t count the times I’ve ordered Papa John’s pizza on the university meal plan in the past. But alas, one must grow up, and in doing so I moved to New York where I didn’t think Papa John’s even existed(at least not within my periphery — I don’t venture too far off the island…). But lo and behold what do we have here… PAPAEFFINGJOHN’S! The first question that came to mind was: Do they sell slices? I know, I know, New York has brainwashed me into ordering my pizza by the slice. But upon realizing that a medium pie plus 1 topping was only $ 7, I threw caution to the wind and dived right in. And the sauces, oh those sauces, I could almost drink the garlic sauce as though it was poured from the Holy Grail(and I think I may have done just that on one, or two, inebriated occasions). AND the pizza man even threw in a ranch sauce. On the house. I know Papa John’s isn’t the best pizza around, but come on, where else can you get a slice that seems to taste even better the next morning after having sat on the coffee table all night?

Seriously, why do I do this to my self. Why? It is not ‘cheap’, it is not ‘good’, it is not even ‘fun’. I tell you why. Garlic Sauce. Sure I could slave over a microwave for 40 seconds, melt butter and add some garlic powder to it and have my own garlic sauce, but where is the fun in that? Do I regret eating here? Every time. It is only walk-in and delivery, so no restrooms to report on…

I love Papa John’s.which is kind of sad considering that this is NYC! There’s no good NYC pizza in the area… ok, there’s Nick’s but it’s so darn thin… Love the fact that you can order on line and they bring it to your door fast and it’s always hot! Be sure to check the net for coupons… they’re usually out there! Haven’t done take out or gone to the place so I can’t give you more info on that…
