Came here last night for my friends birthday. We arrived around 12:30 and the wait was about 15 mins or so & It was $ 20 to get in. This place looked sorta spacious seen as the place was not as crowded as I expected. As far as music goes they played a ton of Hip Hop, some R&B and just a handful of Reggae. Overall this place was just okay to me. Nothing to be hyped up about. I’m not much of a club goer but I’m sure there are better clubs in the city.

This club sucks! The fact that they had everyone waiting 45mins then open the club 2 mins before 12am then ask for everyone to pay. Eh what??? No crowd ! Very ratchet !

Convenient location right by port authority and 42nd street, only two blocks from where I got off the train. Be sure to find a guest list to get on, I used Showtime. Get there Early! I got there at 11:04 and there were already 25 – 30 people on line. Good music mostly hip hop with a few throw backs and lots of reggae. They have small tables set up around the dance floor and they don’t kick you off if you aren’t buying a hookah or overpriced bottle. The Cons of the place is waiting an hour outside in line before getting in, it was cold and my feet started to hurt standing in one spot for so long. Before the club opens the venue host hunkomania so lots of bridal parties were exiting at 11:20, but they should have them out by 10:30 if the club supposedly opens at 11:00. The other problem is their drinks are way too expensive to come in the tiny plastic cups they come in. Twelve dollars for a Long Island in a very small plastic cup made half with ice is ridiculous, especially since I had to wait for the bartender to check her Instagram likes before she finally turned around to do the job she was receiving likes for.

This place is by far the worst club I’ve been to. I got charged $ 20 because I didn’t have on 6in heels only 3. When I pointed that out to the guy in charge he was really rude. Also you get charged 20% extra for using a card. Once you leave the club they won’t let you back in unless you pay again. Other then that the bouncers and bartenders were nice and friendly. But never again will I spend my money here.

The club is actually on the corner of 8th ave and West 39th st! Been here twice and had a blast both times! Definitely in my top 10 of what is left of NYC clubs!

I went here on a saturday night and was disappointed. The DJ keep interrupting the music and the crowd was so immature. Cover charge was to expensive and the bottles were to expensive also.

These people must be sippin’ on that Whitney Houston crack juice!!! I’m not gonna pay $ 50 cover charge to get into a place where I gotta get patted down like an inmate on Oz, have my friend get her pen confiscated while being told by security, «Oh yeah, this place is safe and we pat people down and confiscate pens to keep the place safe.» Say what now!?! What can you possibly do with a pen, write somebody to death? I mean Really!?! I feel sorry for the fools, I mean people who actually paid to gain admission into this bootleg budget basement situation. Anytime you have to walk down one-way stairs to enter a club situation, know that it’s gonna be bad and don’t walk, run in the opposite direction(eh hem, à la «49 Grove» ).

TERRIBLETERRIBLETERRIBLE!!! I waited 10 – 15 minutes in line only to get in and find the place wasn’t even that packed. The DJ played ALOT of reggae, which I’m not familiar with. On top of that, EVERY2MINS he interrupted the music to say something lewd and ridiculous. «Ladies, if you have good p**&^y, let me hear you make noise!» The people were mildly attractive. One girl had her whole dress only covering her stomach; he bra and thong we exposed. I don’t mind ratchet, but this was RRRRRRRIDICULOUS. Never ever again.

I came here on opening/reopening night a couple weeks ago, and it wasn’t as packed as I wanted it to be. It should pick up soon, though. It’s a pretty one story venue that’s got some tables around the dance floor, and a $ 4 coat check. My drink was $ 10 and my friend’s was $ 15 even though they were pretty similar-just stick to simple mixes. The music was ok, but as always, it depends on who’s promoting/DJing that night.

This spot used to be Power 105.1’s club. Pretty ghetto place!!! I don’t know if they’re actually still open. Haven’t been there for almost 2 years. They played lots of hiphop/rnb/reggae. The only thing I liked in this club is the music. Place was OK. Crowd could be a lot better. Me and my other 2 asian girlfriends were the only asian ppl in the place. A good amount of African Americans here. I did have a good time. Not great like usual. I think it was my mood that day. I was missing someone :-(OK…that’s not part of the review… OHWELL… lol Would I go back? No. I just like to try new places and it wasn’t worth going back to.
