First it is farrrr where the heck are the trains over here. Got in off a guest list. Drinks EXPENSIVE there’s no place to really«be» unless you are getting bottle service, music is just okay.

Amnesia? Forget about it! Arrived at Amnesia at 12:20 am with a birthday group to encounter an avalanche of shady bullshit. Let me see if I can recall all of the offenses this place racked up on Saturday night against us: –Strike 1(aka mad face worthy): Not telling our party that our bottle service package would expire at 12:30am. –Strike 2(aka verbal profanity worthy): Consequently telling us our table would be forfeited if someone didn’t pay upfront for the bottle service OUTSIDEONTHESTREET before going in at 12:30am. Mad sketch! Who pays for bottle service on the curb before even entering?! What if the service sucks??? –Strike 3(aka offensive hand gesture worthy): Telling us that the package we had booked over the phone was for the wrong number of people(LIESLIESLIES) and then saying how we could get a «great» deal for our group of girls for $ 1,100… that’s ONETHOUSANDONEHUNDREDDOLLARS before tax and tip. B*tch, you crazy?! –STRIKE4(aka NUCLEARBOMB worthy): After this whole ordeal of canceling our table we decided just to go on the guest list line. They then wanted to charge us all cover charge at $ 20 a pop and acted as if they were doing us a favor. What the hell! After how Amnesia treated us outside I just couldn’t go inside. Just couldn’t do it. Blame it on my pride, stubbornness or principles but there was no chance I was allowing myself to walk into this place. There are other things I could say about this«club» but I’ll hold my tongue as this is a public forum. I think I’ve gotten my point across. Also, there were cops in a van waiting preemptively down the block for something to happen. Need I say more?

$ 30 cover for girls?! That is ridiculous and a ripoff. Why? 1. The venue space is overly crowded. 2. The sound system has got to be the WORST I have ever experienced(and I’m a LES divey bar kinda girl. That should say enough). I thought I had gone deaf by the time I left. 3. People there are not very nice. An accidental bump into someone’s arm will cause a reaction equivalent to g-force shove. 4. You can check-in for a «free drink.» It’s practically juice, guys. Not worth the dangerous maneuvers to make your way all the way to the bar. 5. Parking is nonexistent. Don’t bother spending your money or time here.

3.5 stars… came here last night – friday night – even though we were all on a guest list ladies paid $ 20, us guys paid $ 25 and that was at 1150. Coat check $ 4, Purchased 3 drinks at the bar – whiskey sour, cranberry vodka and Long Island Iced Tea cost me $ 52. Bartenders are rude, slammed drinks and cards down like they didn’t want to be there – there goes your tip… ALLCONS! THEPROS? The music was POPPING! a mix of every hip hop song throwback to new, reggae, a lil soca. It was LIVE. The crowd was also diverse, mid-20’s mature crowd, good-looking. Advice: IF U MUSTCOMEHERE. Pre-game well before you come, prepare to dance, and bring cash for the door, hold your jackets and try to keep the night cheap because as much as the spot is popping it’s not worth your whole life savings!

HOLYASIANTOLEDO!!! So my Chinese friend asked my sister and I to go clubbing with her. She said her cousin works as a promoter and can get us in for free. So we get all dolled up(and these are 27 – 32 year olds going out to a night club) and head out. We get there a bit early,(LDW), and we wait on line. UHM. They made us wait on the line for about 15 minutes and then we find out that they only make us do that to make the place seem like it’s packed when cars/people pass by. So finally 15 minutes later we enter and it’s TOTALLYDEAD. There were the bartenders just standing around, and about 20 people in the whole place. I wanted to leave so bad but my friend and sister decided to buy me a drink and shot and make me hang for a bit. There was about an extra 20 people in the next hour. Anyways, drinks: totally expensive. Bartender: douchy flirt and then when my sister asked if he had a gf he said yes. ugh, poor gf of his. So finally around 1:30 the place gets a decent crowd… and I didn’t realize it was ASIANNIGHT. Thank god I blended in but man I’ve never seen so many YOUNG Asian boys trying to mack it to me in one night. So many 22 year old guys kept attempting to talk to me and tell me «it’s my birthday». What do you want me to f*&*&^ng do? Blow out your candles? GTFO. And worst part, my feet were killing me, bc I’m an old hag who can’t hang anymore, can’t wear those sexy expensive slutty shoes. I walked to my car around the block where there’s super construction and BAM, busted my butt in those stupid effin heels. Right in front of a construction truck. These men came to my rescue, blood everywhere… messed up my knee and put a hole in it and I still have a scab!!! UGHHSOEMBARRASSING! maybe another time, just that time sucked.

Overcrowded, expensive drinks, terrible crowd, terrible music. The DJ kept interrupting the music to shout things like«BROOKLYN, BROOKLYN, QUEENS, BRONX, ASIANSINTHEHOUSE, JERSEY!» Okay, we all get it. Shouts to wherever everyone is from. Also, shouts to the only asians in the house, aka MY group. It would’ve been a better night if it wasn’t so damn crowded and if the crowd weren’t so trashy. My 2 stars go to the bartender who gave me a free drink with my Unilocal check in, even though the promotion was expired! Yay!
