I needed to get a new deadbolt installed and pretty much knew what I needed before I went in. One of the guys was pretty prompt with trying to help me, however the manager or head guy there really turned me off. He was up in the rafters near the front door(couldn’t even see him at first) and he started asking a bunch of questions — who is installing it, where do you live, etc. Obviously I’m there about getting a deadbolt put on so I’m concerned with safety and don’t want to yell out my address and other information to people across the store. I had photos of the door(where lock needed to go) and asked if he could come down and take a look, to which he said«no. i can see from up here…». He could have cared less, so finally I just left and called Lockbusters. It might cost a little more, but it’s worth it. If you really need a hardware store you’re better off going to the 4476 Broadway location. Much cleaner too.

There are only 2 hardware stores in the immediate vicinity and this is one of them. I’ve been in there a few times looking for some odd things, and they did have them in stock. Very pleasant guys that work there and the prices are decent. Its a little cramped and messy, but hey, that’s a hardware store for you. They’re open til 7pm most days except on Sunday, when they close earlier(around 5pm I think).
