I stopped by this NYC Dry Cleaners this afternoon, took out my dry cleaning, and the clerk immediately said: «We only do dry cleaning for households.»
I replied: «So you will not do dry cleaning for an individual like me.»
She said: «It depends.»
In the end, she wouldn’t take my barely dirty suit trousers, making this the only location to ever refuse my dry cleaning. Strange… not sure why she was accepting dry cleaning from other individuals, but something similar happened in this neighborhood before though they were kind enough at that time to be blunt and explain that they do not «serve Jews». Not sure the reason DryClean NYC on Nagle would not serve me, but I give them 2 stars because the location is clean and they probably have great service for «Households», whatever that might mean.

Top notch customer service. The manager, Jo-​Anne, helped me take a wool coat that I needed for a trip and let me keep my other belongings there while I was traveling. Very reasonable prices too. My coat is also super clean. AND they have an app. Because of course they do.
