Love this place! Staff are so nice, and they did such a good job altering my wedding dress and dry clean it. Highly recommend it!

I’ve been going to this cleaners for many years now, and they are the absolute best. The customer service is wonderful, and they have been able to help me from stains to alterations. I’ve had stains on tops removed, jackets taken in, dresses hemmed, and the list goes on. They are extremely accommodating, and have always had my clothes prepared in time. The owner has been in business for a while, and really knows his stuff. I’ve moved around several apartments in the city, but I’ve never changed my cleaners. Very highly recommend this place!!!

As a fashion industry professional, I felt completely belittled. I know a lot about stains, textiles, and fabric properties. I also know a lot about good service and this place was absolutely awful. I hope no one has to go through this.
It was my first and last visit to this establishment. Here is what went wrong:
1) I gave them a Romper, but they charged me for a full jumpsuit increasing my total amount
2) My garment was not ready on time even though the cashier said it would be ready. I had to come back in the next day
3) When I picked it up, there were still stains on it! And they bleached two tassels, which are easily visible when compared to the unbleached tassels
4) A lady said I would get a refund, but when I came in they wouldn’t give it to me
5) The owner was basically yelling at me lecturing me about stains and their washing process

New York Cleaners on 17^th between 6^th and 7^th Avenue is the best dry cleaner in the city. I’ve been bringing my toughest stained shirts and ties to Mr. Park and his staff since 2007 and they’ve never disappointed. In 2010, I left Chelsea and moved to the Upper West Side. To this day, I bring any stained clothing down to NY Cleaners as the dry cleaners uptown don’t have the same magic touch. Many actually left stains on my shirts that I had to bring to New York Cleaners to remove. I highly recommend New York Cleaners — they are skilled, take pride in their work, and offer great service to their customers.

Awesome local dry cleaner in Chelsea that thankfully does free pick up and delivery. I love that I can drop my bag off with my doorman on my way running off work and place a call to the friendly guys there to have it picked up. I’m a loyal customer for 5+ years. Clothes always come back clean, fresh, nicely pressed and well packaged which shows the extra care they put in to their work. Very satisfied. I’ve never had any issues and highly recommend.

As a Fashion Designer, and Bespoke Tailor I have used many dry cleaners all over the country, and some of the best known in New York. This is by far the best cleaners I know to date. Always prompt, and such attention to detail, myself as well as our clients who get there pieces from us dry cleaned, and washed are quite impressed. I have to say that I am thoroughly confused because I wrote a review for this place but I don’t see it anymore. Anyway, I just want to say that I have been a loyal customer for many years now. I am in the fashion industry with a discriminating opinion about the dry cleaners I choose. I have had so many instances where the owner, Bob, has saved my clothing from disaster. Even when I have travelled and the other cleaners ruined it. He knows what he is doing. I have to say that there are not many cleaners out there with his skill. Too many cleaners are more interested in volume and churning out clothing from a remote factory somewhere in Jersey. This is one of the rare places that does everything on site with an owner that doesn’t just hire talent but is the best himself at stain removals. I had some vintage clothing for work that had stains from I don’t know when and have learned a lot from Bob! He works miracles! I have to also mention– don’t get mixed up with another cleaners of the same name at a different location. That one has a bad rep and is not affiliated in any way with this one! My friend told me about that one. Just remember that the 17^th street one between 6&7 ave is the best!

Defying local blog, friend & bldg recommendations, I opted for NY Dry Cleaners after reading numerous online customer reviews of their amazing D-​Cleaning feats.
