New University Pen And Stationery

This is my favorite stationery store in NYC. So many different kinds of pens, pencils, notebooks, and paper. I sometimes unearth gems, like the now-​rare brass KUM pencil sharpener. I could easily pass hours just going through the stock. Yes, some things here can be found cheaper elsewhere. But this is a small business, and I really like the staff, so I’m happy to pay a bit extra.

Don’t let this place fool you. It may look small from the front… but it’s a super long narrow store well overstocked with an ambundance of notebooks, pens, markers, post-​its, journals, binders, glue, paint, cardstock, stationary, gifts, gift wrap, and all kinda of crafty stuff for your crazy needs. Since the place is quite narrow, it’s a bit cluttered… but in an organized cluttered way. (Yes, that makes sense in an oxymoron kind of way!) I come here specifically for their pens and markers. Generally, for their Sharpies and Gels for my art sketches.

This is by far the worst store EVER! They do UPS, USPS, and FedEx but they overcharge by a lot and then they just send it to the NYU mail service place where they get a 60% discount. Biggest snakes! Skip a step and go straight to NYU on LaGuardia between west 3^rd and bleeker less than a 3 min walk away.

I needed a Fedex Express shipped internationally on the same night. I called 8:55pm, and the Fedex pick up time was long gone. They were unbelievably professional and expedited: they asked me to email the addresses and when I got there the label was already printed and the assistant ready to go to Fedex drop off! He got there before 9:30pm!!! I am so impressed and happy!!! Amazing service, they gave me all the instructions I needed and made it super easy. I highly recommend them!!!

I was actually on the way going to University stationery when I found this place. This shop looks just a souvenir shop filled with NY T-​shirts, post cards, maps, and so on.
Right after I entered the shop, I was really surprised with the sea of stationery continues toward all the way back. The frontage is really small, but the shop aisle continues quite long to the back end. Besides students staples like files, notes, binders, they carry quite extensive collections of cards and books of many stationery brands. It took a while for me to pick one journal book from all the options.
The owner was really friendly person and greeted me with welcoming smile, which made my shopping experience even more enjoyable. Also such his attitude persuaded me to come out for shopping more often instead of clicking mouse at
