We came here for the first time after work after waking past it so many times and always speculating how the food tastes. We reserved a table with the hostess and the wait was only 5 – 10 minutes. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. When we entered, it felt humid and we wish they could blast the AC. The tables were very close to each other and it felt like we were dining with the people next to us. We tried a burger, steak, and fries along with a couple drinks. The food was good but not the best we have tried. The crowd inside was very loud, possibly because it was happy hour. But, the service was good and attentive. The restroom needs a makeover and should be cleaned more often, in my opinion. We probably won’t be regulars at this place, but we are happy we got to try it for once!

Stopped in for a few beers and apps before a show. Their wings and nachos were better then I expected! Stella on tap and staff was friendly and helpful about what’s good on the menu! I’d try a burger next time around they were rolling out some amazing looking ones while I was there.

I was starving after an eight-hour day and popped in for a drink and some nosh. Surprisingly delicious Warm Three Cheese salad and Dubliner burger! The salad came with a Brie, goat and blue cheese with garlic crostini on a bed of greens, grapes, strawberries, walnuts, and possibly other toppings I’m forgetting. Not exactly cheap at $ 15 per plate, but also not your average bar food, either.

Nice bar but only 2 bartenders tending bar. My boy and I decided to see who the bartender would serve first, while I stood 10 min longer than my dude cause he had to use the restroom and she decides to serve him first. What a shame cause I would’ve tipped her better.

It was great that four of us got a table after a couple minutes waiting at 6:30pm on a Monday night without a reservation, but I have had better service. Waitress could have been a little more more attentive. Service wasn’t bad, just not GREAT. The food was VERY good. We all enjoyed our meal. Portions were a little small, but very reasonably priced for midtown. I would recommend this place and will likely visit again. They do take reservations, so you may want to make especially if you are going on a weekend.

Stopped off before Ranger game. Tap Beer sucked. Tasted like a dirty sock. Stick to the bottles. Pretzel was awesome very fresh. The fish & chips were just ok. Was expecting a little more. Staff was nice. We were able to get a table without a reservation even though it was crowded. That was a plus.

Made a reservation today for this place today and it’s closed. Highly disappointed, I came from Long Island, took the train to come here and find out both doors are locked & nobody inside. It says it’s opened on both Google and Unilocal.Put your hours online.

We had the NICEST bartender. He was so sweet and friendly. Drinks were good. I didn’t get a chance to eat there however the bar atmosphere was great!

Just stopped in for a beer before heading to Penn Station. Fortunately there wasn’t a game at MSG or I’ll bet the place would have been packed. This place is your typical cookie-cutter midtown Irish bar, complete with boring beer selection and bored staff complemented by zero ambiance whatsoever. We didn’t order any food, but honestly this isn’t the kind of place I’d go unless I was in the neighborhood and dying for a beer. There’s nothing bad about it, but it failed to move the needle in any way.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was dead. Not the best sign but a group of us sat at the bar and ordered drinks and some food. I had a Bloody Mary — nothing special there, pretty basic. I would describe the food the same, just basic. I had a grilled chicken sandwich — there was just nothing that made it stand out. The sandwich came with a disappointing pickle that was more cucumber than pickle and very greasy french fries. I gave 3 stars even though I wasn’t thrilled with my meal because the bartender was a doll and it really wasn’t a bad experience. I just wouldn’t be back considering all of the other options there are in the city.

Best Fish and Chips I have had in the city! They where perfectly fried full pieces of flakey fish! Not greasy at all!

It’s a little weird that they include lettuce on their nachos, but their calamari is probably the best I’ve had in a long time. Really good service, even on a busy night filled with improvisers and the people who love them. Which is why I will always go back. love, Nicole

To be fair I only had a couple drinks here but I made the Auzzie bartender Marie laugh he ass off. Much love from the Gorilla Cheese maker. Somebody’s gotta milk the gorillas.

This place defines mediocre. Rather dingy interior, slow service, and bland food. It wasn’t just me — everyone in our party complained about their food, and remarked at how slow the service was. Considering the price of their entrées, there are far better places to eat in Manhattan. I will not be returning.

Twenty two taps is impressive — a few national brands, lots of craft beers, plus a few imports. Strongbow hard cider was on tap today — not something that I have seen before. I went with a Long Trail IPA which was fine. Decent back bar. Bartender was friendly. Long bar, maybe 25 stools. A few booths next to the bar plus several four tops in the back. Several flatscreens. Open wi-fi. I did not look at the menu.

Party of three for a Friday night of merriment where we sift through a platter of nachos and Buffalo chicken wings/drums. Mustang Sally’s is an Irish full-service bar/restaurant. The nachos was entirely weird overfilled on a slab of beef, cheese, black beans, cream cheese, and guacamole all but no cheddar cheese. ICK. Whatever happened to the simple days of cheddar cheese as a dipping for nachos? The Buffalo wings lived up my expectation of standard bar food, which we requested mild spicy. The Buffalo wings was accompanied with celery and carrots as one can never go wrong with Buffalo wings. Drinks were average. TV screens are plastered among the saloon for various sports coverage. Music is loud but conversations are audible. Service is attentive and respectful to customers’ needs.

I had the chicken sandwich. This was great. A memorable sandwich! Very good chicken. It tasted grilled and not just frozen and unfrozen in the microwave. It also had a very good sauce. My friend had the fish and chips. These were not so great. They were very heavily breaded. So not much fish for a $ 16 meal. This was kind of disappointing. Our server only came once and then we never saw her again. A new person came after that. Overall it was an okay experience that started off well and took a little down turn.

Nice place to stop in to grab a drink near Penn Station. The draft beers are moderately priced — around $ 5 – 6 for Bud Lite types and $ 7 – 8 for everything else. I like the high dividers between the booths and bar stools — allows you a little bit of privacy when you’re pretty much standing in the center of the universe. The only food I’ve had here is nachos($ 11), which came out quickly and were okay. The service is decent… sometimes you’ll have to grab your server’s attention, but they’re usually close enough that it’s not too hard.

I like this place and the French onion soup is great. I haven’t eaten enough of the food to recommend but the menu looks quite good and my friend liked his fried calamari appetizer. They have cheap good happy hour and for 7 you get a shot of whiskey and PBR(I didn’t know what that was until asked FB friends). Booths are better if you can snag one. It’s pretty loud – louder than the others on my list of bars/pubs – but in a booth you can definitely have a conversation.

Came in for lunch two days in a row because I was in town for some CAD training. I tried the pulled pork sliders on day one which were made with a homemade BBQ sauce I think, because it was a little heavy on the vinegar. The second day I tried a classic caesar salad with grilled chicken, that was very good. The chicken had some kind of seasoning on it that gave it a Mediterranean taste I liked that a lot. Not too much dressing it was just right. The server we had was very attentive but didn’t harass us with«Is everything ok?» She even remembered that we hated coleslaw and switched out our sides for us. We were recommended to try this place by someone local and I am glad we went.
