Fine for what it is. Staff is great, portions are big, and prices are reasonable. Would go back. We had the gyro, a BLT, a turkey wrap, and a Greek salad. All were good.

The quintessential greasy spoon diner, with mostly counter dining and salt-of-the-earth staff. About as touristy as a broom closet, which suits me just fine. Besides being adorable, the food is quite good, and the portions are ENORMOUS. My home fries were more like mashed potatoes, but my omelette was great. My husband loved the pancakes. We’re staying down the block, and we WILL be back.

Had breakfast here this morning with the wife after passing this place last night after a concert in MSG. I know breakfast isn’t hard to cook, but you’d be surprised how often places overcook their eggs/omelets. The omelets we ordered were cooked just about perfect, cheese was melted just right and had just the right amount of ham. The homefries were also prepared well, just enough hint of onion in them. The only negative was the oj, had a bit of a bitter taste to it, but was certainly drinkable. Service was excellent, great with the coffee refills. We’d hit this up again if in the area next trip down to the City.

I love Diner food. I used to go to a diner near where I used to live before it closed down. I honestly missed the taste and the feel of it. The first time I came here, I was sat down quickly and the food came within 15 – 20 minutes after ordering. This was a little before lunch time. The food and portions were great. The second time I came with a group of friends, we were sat down quickly, perfectly before everyone started coming in. Everyone got their food within the same amount of time(15 – 20 minutes). I also had take out, and boy was that wait long. I went during the middle of lunch time which was around 12:30 and it was so busy and packed in there. The wait was a lot longer but so worth it. I was never able to finish my food for either times. If you’re gonna eat here, order ahead of time through seamless or call ahead of time!

So grateful to find a real old school Greek diner in Chelsea, so grateful. Got burly men with accents who lean over the counter to chat with the workers, who they seem to know well. Got a counter with bar stools. Got that utterly unpretentious diner feeling. Slightly grungy, I won’t give details since I did not tell my server. Nothing to discourage me from going there again or polishing off my breakfast. Plus, my spinach feta omelette with home fries and wheat toast was exactly the right thing. Fresh squeezed juice. Friendliness. Not expensive. A touch of old New York. Just the ticket on a cold December morning.

I absolutely love an old diner! So if there is one close by and its breakfast or lunch I am definitely going to give it a try… This is little Greek Diner is a gem for sure! Green Formica counter and old vinyl bar stools with tables and chairs in the back — but it has a nice airy feel and is clean as well! I sat for lunch and was served by a nice chatty — but not too in your face — waitress. I watched the cool making a couple chicken avocado wraps and I was sold. It was delicious and served with thick crispy fries — to fight off the healthy effect of the wrap… The patron next to me said his gyro was fantastic as well. I can’t wait to come back and give it a try for breakfast!

More of a luncheonette than a diner. Menu is a bit limited. But I was fine was eggs and bacon with toast and fries for breakfast. Came to about $ 10 with the tip. Coffee was passable. Waitress was OK. Food came out quickly. I would stop by again. Store front is so nondescript that I walked past it the first time.

I’m not sure if I was just really hungry, but came in for breakfast on a rainy morning and thought the food was damn good. I can’t speak for lunch or dinner, but this place seems better for breakfast. Also like that 1960’s/1970’s Old-NY-feel with the light green countertops, sitting stools and random regulars sitting there for hours talking about, well, nothing. Kind of felt like out of a scene from Taxi Driver with De Niro. Yes, this place is old, and yes, it may seem a little dirty or sketchy, but that’s what a «greasy spoon» is, as my father would call them. Don’t expect anything ‘healthy’ or ‘organic’ or any soy/chai/acai/hemp/chia/smoothies, etc here. This place is about eggs, bacon, ham, corned beef hash, oversized muffins loaded with butter, lamb gyros, grilled cheeses, BLTs, milkshakes, etc. I had an egg & cheddar sandwich and a side of bacon, which honestly, was excellent and tasted different than bacon I’ve had at other diners before. It was thicker cut(although not as thick as what you get at Peter Luger or Wolfgang’s steakhouses, but somewhere in between) and much tastier than other places and not as salty, not sure why that is. Very inexpensive(under $ 10 with coffee)…nostalgia/character included. My only complaint would be that the coffee wasn’t that good, they should work on that. I normally wouldn’t give a diner 4-stars, and it’s not comparable to a fine dining establishment like Jean Georges obviously, but among its competition, it stands out above the rest and deserves that rating. For a taste of Old NY, this place is worth a visit.

Definitely better than I expected. Seemed a little unclean from the outside but nice inside. If you sit at the bar they cook the food right in front of you. You can watch it being made and assures you its clean and done the way you expect. Food tasted delicious. They listened to everything I wanted perfectly

Definitely a good place for lunch. Not so sure about the«Best Burger in NYC» but it’s definitely a solid one. This is an old luncheonette with a charming run-down look that adds to its authenticity. In an area with surprisingly few lunch options, this is the way to go if you want a casual bite or something to-go.

I saw a sign that said they had the«best burgers in NY» so i decided to check it out. I was pretty disappointed in the mediocre cheeseburger, although the fries were pretty good. Waitress was nice. I regret not trying out the chicken, which smelled amazing. After almost finishing my food, I noticed a hair in my fries which made me feel disgusted, thus the 2 stars. $ 12.50 for a burger deluxe and tap water though.

I will admit this place is pretty authentic for gyros. The meat is slow roasting on the spit in front of you, the old greek owner is at the end of the counter to welcome you to his place and the food is great. I had the gyro platter for $ 11 and came with greek salad, fries, pita and of course the gyro meat itself. Its a great portion size and will fill you up for sure.

Nothing about the breakfast was good. The waitress was busy talking w/a customer she knew when I sat at the counter and she barely acknowledged me. I ordered a simple breakfast of two eggs, potatoes, coffee and bacon yet it came to over $ 9. That was advertised on the menu as a «special». The eggs and potatoes were so-so but the bacon was pretty badly overcooked. I asked for half & half and got milk. It happens sometimes that waitresses bring milk and assume you won’t notice so I just pushed the coffee off to the side after taking a sip and realizing it was plain milk. The waitress finally brought the half & half 15 minutes later when someone else asked for some. She felt the need to make a crack that I didn’t even notice the difference when she could plainly see I wasn’t drinking it. Update: I was jonesing for a burger so I figured I’d give the place a second chance after seeing that the original waitress wasn’t there. I should have known better. I was not acknowledged when I walked in even though there was someone at the register by the door so I seated myself. I can’t really say that the service was bad but that’s mostly because I didn’t get any service. That’s right. I sat at a table for between five and ten minutes and none of the workers there(at least three) bothered to give me a menu, look at me or even leave a territorial ring of urine around my table. I walked out to the same indifference as when I walked in.

Great spot for lunch, prompt, very friendly service, good food what more can you ask for, plus it’s just plain fun sitting at the counter and listening/watching the cooks, wait staff do their thing!

Since it’s so close to school and some of my friends go here for the burger, I decide to check it out. I order the burger for take out and I tell them to cook it medium-rare. I go to my school to sit at a table outside and took a bite into my burger and I see the patty is medium well, just barely pink. Wow that was off, but still the burger was okay. Juicy patty really soaked up the buns. The fries didn’t seem that fresh to me. Some of the fries were stuck together but they are the common diner fries that you see. Overall, just okay.

I’ve been to Greek Corner a number of times and each time I go I say to my friend, «this time I’m going to try something new!» and he says«me too!» and then we go ahead and get the gyros just like we always do. Today I really came close to getting the chicken breast sandwich. It sounded pretty good. But the gyro is just so good. And it’s BIG. There is no need to get the platter because you’ll be hard pressed to finish just the gyro itself. The pita is perfect. It comes out toasty and wrapped around the meat, lettuce, tomato and tzatziki sauce. A piece of aluminum foil is wrapped around all that and twisted off at the end so that you don’t wind up with sauce running down your arms. The staff are all incredibly warm and welcoming. As for that service charge everyone speaks of, that must either be a conspiracy or else my friend and I are just so awesome that the waitress knows we will give a 20% tip, which of course we do. (Credit card minimum is $ 10, by the way.)
