Biggest f$&@ing ripoff on the planet. Every Time I check out I’m shocked by how much more than a regular grocery store everything costs. Nothing they have is cheaper than what you might find at a corner deli. Even the ground beef is 6.99 a pound. You are better off making the walk to key foods on ave a or whole foods on houston. That’s right I said whole foods, they have a better selection and are more affordable.
Ps. They don’t carry antacid. I’ve asked for it on separate occasions and for whatever reason they don’t think someone might want to buy that. It’s like the owners have never been in a grocery store.

Not a bad market! The store was remodeled earlier this year and it now has a much better feel to it. The employees are friendly and low key. The store is clean and well-​maintained. There is not an incredibly large selection of items, although I usually can find most everything I’m looking for. The prices are not the best, but going here is probably one of the cheaper options in the neighborhood.

I can’t believe what a little remodeling can do a place! The Met was run down grocery store with narrow aisles and dusty products, but now it’s cleaner and brighter than I had ever imagined. The employees seem to be happier too. Unfortunately, the prices will keep me at bay from picking up more than an item or two during the week. Nonetheless, the remodel is a vast improvement and I appreciate it.
