Poor line management. Customers cutting line and staffing rudely not controlling it. Customers should not have to battle their way and race to get their order taken.

Consistently the slowest service out of any McDonald’s that I’ve ever been to. I have never waited as long as I have here for supposedly fast food.

Still a horrible slow business. The work ethic of the staff is pitifully sad. Fries were cold, salty and soggy. Atmosphere was crowded and noisy, the whole seating section was barricaded off from any guests to sit down and guarded by a security officer.

This McDonalds is the hood mecca. If you wanna see poverty at its finest, come here. It is the epicenter of debauchery & doom. A shitload of druggies, mentally ill, homeless, block huggers, and miscellaneous ratchets to boot. In the morning and afternoon it’s the absolute worst. People are there in droves. It’s so loud, and crazy that you lose your train of thought there. The service is horrible. The food is just not good. I despise this McDonalds. Stay away. Far, far, away.

Hands down the WORST McDonald’s I have ever been to. Between the less than stellar service, unorganized wait lines and the endless solicitors that hang in there daily I try to avoid it at all costs despite the fact that I like McDonalds food. There are many better food options in the area as well. I’d give a 0⁄5 but 1 is the minimum

I really dislike this McDonald’s for two reasons 1,They only have one register open majority of the time!!! And the poor cashier goes back and forth which makes the process even longer(I JUSTWANTMYMCFLURRYDAMNIT!) 2,The bathroom policy. It is the MOST idiotic thing ever… YOUHAVETOBUYSOMETHINGTOUSETHEBATHROOM! They don’t even care if its an emergency… I will take my money elsewhere…

If I could give this McDonald’s a 0 star or a half star I would. The staff is very unprofessional as well as the manager. There was a girl off the clock with reddish colored hair tall and slender who actually was cursing in a conversation with Tierra A.K.A TiTi as she was working. Then this disgusting example of an employee, although off the clock, snatched an already prepared fry box out of the only gentleman(brown skinned younger guy) that was working hands. She then proceeded do to take her unwashed hands in her street clothes and make a larger fry and stack it in the fry holder. The staff is horrible. I didn’t bother to complain to the manager as she was unprofessional herself and appeared to be just a day over 2 years old. McDonalds corp. needs to demolish this place and hire NOTONE element from the neighborhood. Not to mention… I waited 20 minutes for a happy meal.

I’m addicted to the $ 1 iced caramel coffee special that McDonald’s have now and stopped here for one. I waited about 15 minutes for just that. Staff weren’t rude just slow. Looks like most Unilocal reviewers say the same thing. Better management is needed because the community is very congested so they will always be busy and they just need a better way to manage and move the lines.

The staff and management here could use some serious training and I hope that McDonalds steps in. There was a woman on cleaning staff who was more interested in playing the restroom troll than cleaning. She refused to open one of the two available restrooms, causing a consistent line of 6+ and arguments amongst customers. I witnessed one woman weep and eventually storm out, punching the wall as she left. Two fights nearly broke out as I ate my breakfast. Ridiculous.

No happy meals served here. Only poverty & despair meals sprinkled with crack and sodium. Would you like fries with that?

One thing has to be very clear because so many have an issue with this based on half of the reviews I have read. EVERYONE has the right to eat at an establishment whether we agree with their choice of lifestyle or not. YES, in this area there is an alarming amount of drug abusers, homeless people, troublesome youth, and other questionable individuals, but getting into details about what they are doing, how much they annoy you, how offensive their odor is, etc is completely IRRELAVANT to the review. SO on to my review for this location. THEFOOD is DISGUSTING! I actually had a bad stomach reaction after eating the burnt on the outside, undercooked inside nuggets and a regular hamburger here. The soda is horribly flat. To give this place the benefit of the doubt, I ate on a different day and only to be disappointed further as I ordered a Big Mac and it was gross. There was a red moldy looking spot on the inside which indicated it was not thoroughly cooked. I did not want to waste my time complaining about it since it was late at night and I just wanted to get home. I should have avoided eating from here after my previous experience. I am including a photo of the burger. The employees operate at a painfully slow pace and are hardly ever polite. Security guards at a McDonald’s is bizarre, but taking into consideration the area, I understand why security guards are necessary at this location. However, there is no reason they have to be incredibly rude to people eating there and rushing them out. People have paid to eat their food, it is not being handed out for free, so let them eat at their pace in PEACE. Another issue I noticed people have complained about is usage of the bathroom which I happen to agree with. It should not be such a big deal if someone wants to use the bathroom especially when concerning a child or an elderly person. I would not recommend this location to anyone. By far, the WORST McDonald’s I have ever been to.

The last time I came here I left the place wanting to fight somebody. It only took me about 5 minutes to remember that I’m not normally that angry or that violent, but having had to wait 25 minutes in a two person line for a single coffee I had completely adapted to my bitter surroundings. I don’t expect much from a McDonald’s to begin with, who in their right mind does? But unless you hate the world and want to look for fights, or you need a reason to give yourself a headache, skip the drama here and eat somewhere, ANYWHERE else.

I always start places off with a 5 star rating. However, stars diminish due to things about an establishment that turns me off. When I walk into the place, I immediately get thrown into a mixture of working class citizens, homeless persons, druggies, and cross dressers. The working class citizens, for the most part, are in and out of there unless they aren’t easily scared off by the other groups. Then and only then will you see them sitting down to enjoy their meal. The homeless persons usually scrounge up enough change for the dollar menu and since they couldn’t care less about anyone’s opinion of them, otherwise they wouldn’t be a deadbeat, expect to see them making themselves right at home. Oh yeah, they use the restroom to wash up too. Next, we have the druggies who outnumber all the other groups. In fact, if you ever see that there’s a small amount of them inside this specific McDonald’s, all you have to do is look outside. They surround the place as if it’s a drug rehabilitation center and they’ve all been let outside for a break or something. They hang in groups, but they stay to themselves. The crossdressers, of course, are nothing more than men who dress up in women’s clothing and/or makeup. They prance around, I guess looking for customers. Come here for laughs and fireworks.

I knew I was in trouble with this place when I realized it had bouncers. This is a damn McDonald’s and you have that many problems??? The staff is rude, the place is dirty. The homeless must think it’s a shelter too.

I’d just emerged from the subway and walked into this McDonald’s to use the restroom first. I saw a security guard using a key to open the lady’s room for an elderly woman, thinking that he was making sure that if anyone else was inside, that they were OK. The men’s room door was slightly ajar and I saw an older man help a child use the restroom, so I waited near the door. After the security guard let the lady in, he stood between both bathroom doors and folded his arms and stared at me. I looked off then looked back at him and he goes«where’s your receipt»? I said excuse me? He said«you have to have proof of purchase to use the restroom». I reply that you have to be KIDDINGME. I have to use the restroom, wash my hands then look for food. He goes, «no you can go order, bring your food and receipt to the restroom then get in». I replied nicely, are you kidding? Why in the world would I want to bring MYFOOD to a restroom? I have to use the bathroom now, it’s urgent. He points me toward the counter which had about 20 people waiting in line. I wasn’t happy. I walked out, found a Wendy’s nearby and before I could even turn to ask someone, a nice gentleman left his kiosk and unlocked the door without saying a word. I understand that restaurants may have a problem with unruly people but to treat all customers like prisoners is totally unacceptable. I will also forward this to the regional/owner and corporate.

LOWLIFESECURITYSTAFF/FILTHY DUMP The security that works in this place are real scumbags. They try to intimidate customers around the dining room into leaving their tables early. I observed the following: An elderly man(he must have been in his 80’s) being told he needs to show his receipt to use the restroom. When the elderly man argued with him, the security guy cursed at him in front of a group of children«Get the f**k out of here, before I kick your old A**». The next event I observed was the security guard picking a fight with a man reading a newspaper while eating breakfast. He told him his«time limit is up» and he will«Kick his F**ing a**» and he also called him other vulgar names in front of children and elderly people. The man eventually got up and left, and the security guy followed him outside onto the sidewalk and said«What now you B**», «I will beat your punk A**» and kept taunting the man and his wife! It’s shocking to see McDonald’s, a family place, hires scumbag low life people like this to work in their dining room as security. Regardless of being located on 125th street, that is not how you behave even as a security guard.

I’m not sure what a 5 star Micky D’s looks like but this definitely isn’t it. First clue should have been the fact that this Micky D’s has it’s own security force. DW and I swung in here to get a bite to eat after spending all day on Randall’s Island @ Electric Zoo. I jumped in line to grab some grub while DW jumped on line to use the rest rooms. She was repeatedly harassed by the thug security guards about the fact that she needed to purchase something in order to use their facilities. When she mentioned that I was on-line purchasing food, they asked to see a receipt before they would let her use the bathroom. Corporate HQ really needs to re-evaluate this location. In addition to the restroom situation, THEFOODSUCKED! One would think that Micky D’s would have the whole McNuggets thing down by now, after serving x Billion customers. Not here, they were burnt and practically inedible. Same goes for the Fish Sandwhich my DW had. And after she finally made it into the bathroom, the Toilet had feces on the back of it. Real Nice!!. Oh and a note for the security thugs, might be time to re-evaluate your life, You are a security guard at a McDonalds!

This was a bad McDonald’s even as McDonald’s go. In our defense — as I wouldn’t normally patronize Mickey D’s — we just came in just to get a drink, sit, and re-energize ourselves for the second half of our west to east walking tour of 125th St. The lines were long and REALLY slow. There were handwritten signs above each register made with posterboard and a sharpie. Really? McDonald’s doesn’t have the money to get signs professionally printed? The available tables were all dirty and I had to clean and bus ours myself. There was a guy who walked in with sets of children’s books who went table to table trying to sell them. No one from McDonald’s tried to stop him. It seemed like chaos had broken down the whole McDonald’s system, judging from the long lines, lack of table busing, and indifference to people peddling their wares inside their restaurant. And then I overhead someone at the table next to us say their chicken sandwich came WITHNOCHICKEN. Awesome.

We ordered two egg mcmuffins with no butter… What we got were two egg mcmuffins without the canadian bacon(aka ham). We were able to contact the manager(we discovered the mistake after we drove off) and he said to come back for a refund or replacement sandwiches. Long story short, it ended up being more trouble than it was worth — replete with rude employees, incompetent managers,… the whole nine. Stay away if you can — but you might be tempted like we were — en route to Columbia(first mickey d’s you see after you exit). Meh.
