Only worth a stop if you really have no where else to go… Considering it is next to the river you should really never have the need to stop here. The garden is an attempt to make it a bit greener however I think they could have done much better!

Wouldn’t even call this a park. Just a small public space in front of a few office buildings on Wall Street. But, there is seating and some planted flowers and other shrubbery. People also skateboard a lot here for some reason, probably because of the way the benches are arranged. Cool points for the name, though.

This little tiny park runs from the corner of Wall & Water to Water and South is a little jewel of green for office people like me that sometimes need a break from my desk and computer. I am fortune to have the oasis right outside my office building, I drink my coffee here, I eat my lunch or snack or cupcakes here; oh yes I people watch here too. It is a very busy park. In the morning the ferry riders are marching thru at a fast clip, at lunch time the cool granite benches feels so nice on a hot day and fills up quickly. During later afternoon it is coffee, snacks from Crumbs, and people watch and chatting with the tired tourist that are also taking a break on the benches. Early evening the locals are walking their dogs on the grass and dirt. Late in the evening the skateboards and rollerblades are practicing their tricks on the granite benches. This park has an interesting daily life. My favorite item at this tiny park is the glass water fountain at the east end, corner of Wall & South, which resemble a giant Champlain glass with overflowing bubbly. At night the glass fountain lights up and look even more spectacular. But what is with the name?
