My first review ever. 3 times in 2 weeks only because I went on vacation in between. Other than the woman that I married, there is nothing on this planet that I would want to spend more time with. Screamingly awesome sauce makes the perfect lobster sammy something that most have to wait for a trip to Heaven to experience. Grazie, Signore Forgione y Señor Torta! Hash-f*ing-tag awesome.

Went here for the first time last week and I am thrilled that this place is open next to Penn Station. I am a big Marc Forgione fan to begin with but this place is a masterstroke. I got a small pressed lobster without cheese. It comes with lobster chilli sauce to dip the sandwich in like a french dip. OMG that sauce. I would buy it buy the gallon and have it as a soup it is so damn good. The bread had a nice fresh crispness and the lobster tasted clean and fresh. Nice selection of organic sodas as well. Yum to the maximum here. Hope this chain spreads all over.

I came here one late afternoon before my Amtrak train for a bite to eat and couldn’t believe I could find a lobster sandwich in Manhattan for only $ 17 so I had to try it! Hands down one of the best decisions I have made, it was amazing. There was so much lobster meat and the sauce you dip it in is out of this world. This is my new go to spot at Penn Station, I can’t wait to go back!

Penn Station has long been a cavernous mouth of hell in its design, and also when it comes to food choices available inside it. It only took until 2016 for at least the dining options to begin to improve. I tried Lobster Press in the new Pennsy food hall in between Amtrak legs, and it was very good. Had the pressed lobster sandwich without cheese. It’s tasty and freshly made in front of you and comes with a spicy dip. Staff in Pennsy food hall are super friendly too. The only downside was that my sandwich along with an artisan fruit drink cost $ 27.00. There are cheaper choices if you’re willing to walk out of the station for a few blocks. I really liked Lobster Press, but probably won’t come here every time I’m at Penn Station.

First I would like to say I was really excited about visiting this new lunch spot that opened right across from our office. Second, the experience was utterly disappointing. I paid $ 20 for a Half of a Lobster Press and Bisque. The only thing I enjoyed was the bread and dipping sauce. The sandwich was dry and had practically no lobster. The lobster that was included was overly chewy. The accompanying bisque was watery and had 3 tiny pieces of lobster, a few bits of what appeared to be grains, butternut squash and carrots. I essentially paid $ 10 for grains and broth — it was a bummer. Luke’s lobster rolls seemed massive compared to the amount of lobster I received today. Besides the food being a let down, the employee manning the press wasn’t very friendly when I asked to see the difference between the full/half sandwich. The employee at the register was friendly though. If you want Lobster, walk across the street to LobsterCraft. Otherwise save your precious lunch time for something else in Pennsy.

I can’t remember having a better sandwich than the lobster press. If you don’t want to spend $ 17 for the whole, get the half and think quality over quantity. Savor every moment.

Pennsy just opened up across the street from my office, so we were really excited to try something new for lunch! Everything looks so good, but the prices are just so high for the little amount of food you get. I decided to try Lobster press, got the half grilled cheese special with the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was delicious(they give you an 8oz cup). The half grilled cheese was very good, but a little burnt and VERY small. I think for the price they could give you a whole grilled cheese sandwich. I was still hungry after eating that and I already spent $ 14! flavors are excellent though!

I got the lobster and cheese pressed sandwich, there were lots of tiny shells. So be careful eating it. Overall, the lobster is fresh but there’s just too much bread vs lobster. The pickled veggies were sooo spicy. They over power the taste of the sandwich. You’ll have to wait for a bit getting the pressed sandwich. Lucky I had enough time before my train. Getting here with a rolling bag is a pain. Lots of stairs and no door that I saw which was handcap accessible. Aka you push the button to open the door. Small thing but someone brought extra cups for soup and he didn’t have gloves on.(Cups were not wrapped in plastic)

Had the Lobster Press with Cheese and the Bisque. Very tasty, very filling, but alittle expensive. Overall Good

Great place to grab a sandwich after work! I’ve had the Lobster press with cheese and without. Can’t decide which is better. Looks like more lobster meat than you would get in a lobster roll. Nice big chunks of lobster. Not sure what they put on the bread first, but it’s awesome. Am I the only one that drinks the leftover sauce???

Being from New England I am a traditionalist when it comes to Lobster, but this sandwich and its dipping sauce took me down a path where I’m not sure I can ever eat a basic lobster roll again. The lobster is incredibly fresh, tasting like it just came out of the shores of Maine, and the chili lobster sauce is the perfect balance of heat and flavor.

The chili sauce is the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. Very spicy, though. A bit spicier than when I had it at Marc Forgione, but still so, so incredibly delicious. The lobster press with cheese was also delicious, but to be fair, so would a boot that was dipped in that wonderful sauce.

The lobster press sandwich was literally the tastier thing I’ve ever eaten. I can die now. The guys suggested to get it with cheese and dip it in the sauce. Those words of wisdom served me well
