Less than impressed with Limon Jungle. Arrived here on a sunday for brunch. They offer a $ 9.95 mimosa/margarita/champagne deal for up to 90 minutes. The drinks are very small. The salsa is more of a pico than an actual salsa. The veggie empanadas were delicious. I ordered the fajta burrito and was very disappointed. My fajita contained all shredded chicken that wasn’t even seasoned and a few peppers. I would not recommend the fajita burrito. Service was good. I will have to try something different next time.

FALSE2X1DRINKADVERTISING! I asked to the girl in the front door if it was 2×1 drinks, she said yes. Then I asked the waitress if I would really receive 2 drinks for the price of one, she said yes. I ended up asking for margaritas(Advertised $ 9 on the menu) and mojitos(Advertised $ 8). When the bill came, I realized I was being charged $ 24 for drinks and not the $ 17 I was supposed to be charged. I asked the waitress the reason, and she told me that the deal was«Any 2 drinks for $ 12», which is very different from what they had told me at the beginning. They even included a mandatory 18% tip for a party of two! I felt scammed, and I will NEVER go back there. You shouldn’t go either!

Perfect spot for a Sunday late Brunch, quick service, tasty food. I had the scrambled egg with chorizo along with beans and potatoes, cant really go wrong with it, the guac with it makes it even better!

as has been said many times before, awesome margaritas! 2 for 1 at happy hour! 2 for 1 beers as well! food is tasty service was sooooo sloooow ordering a drink was a 20 min affair each time. the waitress would often walk off while I was trying to order or ask for something. my boyfriend works in a restaurant and so do many of my friends. I always give servers and cooks the benefit of the doubt but this was absurd. and worst of all they ripped me off! I used a 25 $ certificate, or tried to rather. she validated the certificate and promised the 25 was taken off. then handed me a bill with the full price. I asked her again and she insisted 25 would be taken off at the end. just checked my bank account and I was charged the full 67 $ for my bill. not the 42 she promised. I will most certainly be calling the restaurant to see whether they would like to correct it or whether I should report it as fraud tomorrow morning. so disappointed. I love margaritas and finding them cheap and tasty is a thrill for me. I go out very seldom as I can not afford such the luxury of dining or drinking out. I could not afford that extra 25 and it will delay my ability rent. this business is scum. if I had not been scammed I would go back. slow service is forgivable. stealing is not. DONOTGOHERE.

IF you’ve read my reviews before about Mexican food, you’d know i judge hard. Mexican has to be my favorite type of food esp with me being from California. 1. Service — Service was more than accommodating, the waitress was extremely nice and very attentive. I would go back purely for that. 2. Food & Drinks — I went with a friend of mines, we ordered margaritas(pomegranate and mango) They were strong actually, I liked it. Despite the lack of flavor. — The food. Of course i got tacos, Chicken and steak, Not a huge fan of the tacos here however, they were not the worse to come out of NY. I would recommend this to some, its not going to be something that i highly recommend. 3. Price. — They recently raised the prices on the food, in the last month or so, which served as a larger deterrent from going back. Its NYC what did i Expect. It’s still affordable. 4. Ambiance — The Location of this place makes it easily accessible and the place is really in a confine place(Once again its NYC what do I expect) Overall the music and the perfect lighting made up for it all. I liked it a lot.

3.5 stars. Simple but welcoming décor… a good place for brunch. Great deal for bottomless brunch: $ 9.95 for unlimited mimosa, Bloody Mary, Bellini, etc. 90 minutes limit. The burritos are ok and so is the guacamole. Service is professional and efficient. I could totally go back.

Great happy hour specials 7 days per week! They helped us celebrate my friend’s birthday to the max. I highly recommend the Polish and Hawaiian empanadas!

Friendly service. I ordered the CUBANEMPANADA(soo good), a glass of red wine, and a lean mean quesadilla. Total before tax and tip was $ 20.25. They offer coupon deals on . Food came out very fast. Colorful and chatty atmosphere, but not too loud as to be unable to hold a conversation. They also have an unusual happy hour deal where drinks are 2 for one, but it costs $ 12? I wasn’t entirely clear on how that works.

Not amazing, but definitely a decent Mexican place. I’ve been here a bunch of times and I also managed to score a groupon for this place for three visits. Sadly, I waited too long and they have expired but I’ll definitely use them for their actual value the next time I’m here. I always end up ordering a frozen margarita and quesadillas here. I also enjoy their shrimp and chicken tacos. I’ve been hearing a lot about their AYCD brunch and will try that out next time.

Went here for brunch. Food portions were really small. We were told it was small be the price is only $ 9.95. Still shocking at how little food we had. We were so hungry that we had to order more food. They didn’t even give us chips at the table to start. Drinks were ok. Not amazing, just whatever.

Awful! Not authentic Mexican food, tastes like Taco Bell. The absolute worst Mexican inspired cuisine with no flavor. I had to pour sauces and cholula on my burrito just to mask the high school cafeteria low grade meat. The guacamole and chips were over priced and tasteless. However, the happy hour margharitas were strong and well worth the 2 for 1 price.

Tried the Seafood Paella and it was excellent. A little different from what I had from another restaurant but it was good. Also their service was good. I went after my doctors spot so it wasn’t crowded.

I went here before a show and had a certificate. The staff is very friendly and the place is cozy. I ordered the guacamole and chips, beef empanada, and chicken quesadilla. The portions are generous and not badly priced for NYC. I would recommend and go back if I was closer to the place.

There’s lots of gay food in Hell’s Kitchen. 9th ave is full of gay Mexican food, in particular, including the always popular Arriba x2 and El Centro. And both those restaurants serve bad gay food at high prices — while remaining very, very popular. …and then there is Limon Jungle. This is the best gay Mexican restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, serving healthy(yup!) gay Mexican food at very reasonable prices! With an all day happy hour! And nice staff! And a fresh salsa bar! And a great brunch! Everything about the food is pretty great. Super fresh! Even potentially boring dishes, like arroz con pollo, are made really memorable. Forget the other gay Mexican restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen and go to Limon Jungle instead!

We stopped in for dinner one night and it is a nice place. It is small but has good food. I love fajitas and this place does not disappoint. They are the best fajitas I have had and you actually pay less than if you had them at Chili’s. Plus the $ 5 margaritas was a nice addition.

I’m s big TexMex fan and I really enjoyed Limon Jungle. The waitstaff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I loved their salsa bar with at least ten flavored– red and green– to try! Servings are very generous and the margaritas came in lots of flavored. We had a coupon but were treated extremely cordially which doesn’t always happen. I’ll definitely be back!

Solid. Actually, the prices makes this place more than solid in my book. I’ve been twice in one week. First during happy hour… I accidentally had the coco-mango frozen margarita… the best accident I’ve had yet. I also ordered the jalapeño app… very good. The second time I went back(yesterday 8÷8÷15) I had a meal… it wasn’t happy hour and my bill totaled $ 35.26…#winning. I had the chicken tortilla soup(good…but not the creamy consistency I’m used to), a shrimp taco & short ribs taco(both did my tummy good) and of course I had 2 coco mango frozen margaritas… purposely this time:) I liked them better the first time, though they were still tasty. I’m definitely going back. I’ll try the chicken taco next time and the frozen sangria…

Came here a few weeks ago after attending a concert on the Hudson River(which was awesome). My buddy and I were hungry and wanted something cheap and tasty, nothing fancy. Enter Limon Jungle. I remember this being Lime Jungle during my high school and college days, but I never had actually been inside. We were lured in by the host, who seemed friendly enough. The staff overall was great. But the real draw here? Those margaritas! Cheap, strong, and tasty, they were certainly memorable. The food was decent, not too greasy. It’s more tex-mex, at least I would think so. I still hold on to New Rochelle for my Mexican fix :] Brotip: The bathroom is down a steep set of stairs. Be careful!

Came here for AYCD brunch. It’s $ 9.95 for an entrée on their specials list, and if you order an entrée, you can add 90 minutes All-You-Can-Drink for only $ 9.95 more. Not a bad deal. The wait staff is VERY attentive with drinks. I wasn’t even finished with my drink and they were asking what I wanted next. Drinks are standard for brunch: mimosa, bellini, margarita, etc. Food is decent. I had the arroz con pollo plus the AYCD special. It was a generous serving of shredded chicken, rice, peas. carrots, and scallions. I was beyond full from only consuming half of what was on my plate. All in all, a great bargain. We also received two free flan desserts decorated with sliced strawberries for the table for being such great customers.
