Lil’ Bites is probably not long for this world. This space used to be a Quiznos, and maybe it’s just doomed. LB has never mastered the basics of running a sandwich shop. The layout is awkward, the cooks are indifferent, and the checkout process is usually a fiasco. When they get your order right(about 60% of the time), LB is great. Too bad they’ve never gotten their act together.

Ordered for delivery on seamless at 1:45. It’s currently 4:52 but alas, no food. We’ve called the place twice and they said they would remake our order because they didn’t know where the delivery man was. When we asked if there’s anything they could do to alleviate our discomfort, their manager simply said okay without doing anything. We have no idea how the food tastes because it’s not here yet, but we wish we could tell you.

If I could leave a zero, I would. Alas, Unilocal does not give me that option, so I’ll have to settle for a one. Several big reasons as to why this business is probably struggling. 1) I ordered five things(including drinks). 3 things were missing — no hash browns or home fries(whatever comes with the breakfast platter), no soda, and one egg instead of 2. 2) The coffee spilled all over the bottom of the bag, so everything was a sopping mess. 3) My salad did not come with cheese or raisins, despite me paying extra for them. 4) When I called to express my concerns, the manager actually yelled at me, claimed that she did everything correct, and it was my fault. I cannot believe how unprofessional she was and why it was so difficult to simply read an order. I will never order from here again, and I recommend that you do the same.

It’s difficult to find good take-out/delivery in Harlem, and I was so excited to discover Lil’ Bites last year. I have been a very regular customer but will never order from here again. About 50−60% of the time my delivery order is either forgotten entirely, delivered extremely late, or they don’t have something I have ordered/send the wrong thing. The last time I ordered they never delivered my order, answered the phone and kept telling me it would be there soon(for over an hour), then closed the restaurant. It’s so disappointing and a miserable way to run a business, utter failure.

I ordered delivery and it took them an hour and 10 minutes to deliver a lunch order a few blocks. They also forgot my extra water. In addition, the delivery person didn’t have any change, which is suspect. To top it all off, the food was not very good. Overall just a terrible place.

I wanted to like this place so badly. I wanted to be able to support a local business in my neighborhood and also have found a reliable, tasty, inexpensive option. But Lil’ Bites was disappointing all around. First off, the man who took my order seemed really confused and unfamiliar with the menu(and the lunch special displayed on a big sign on the front of the restaurant). I asked for a Californiamania which has turkey, muenster, avocado and lettuce. He kept staring at the menu like he was trying to figure out what these items were. It was mostly funny/strange, but also meant a simple sandwich took a while to make. On top of that — they charged me for the salad that was supposed to come free with the sandwich and instead of muenster he put cheddar. Overall the sandwich was pretty wack — neither the lettuce or the turkey were fresh — so sadly, this is not a local shop that I want to support.

This is what my friends and I ordered: grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries cheeseburger and sweet potato fries tuna panini and sweet potato fries two grape sodas and a Sprite Even though we were only located 9 blocks away, over an hour later(after a 30 min delivery estimate), this is what we received from the very nice delivery man: two cheeseburgers with sweet potato fries grilled chicken sandwich two grape sodas and a Coke There are fun surprises and disappointing surprises and we got the latter. The best part was that the sandwiches were covered with rotten lettuce. Awesome! The man on the phone who spoke to my friend said that two grape sodas somehow covered the cost of 1 missing sandwich and 1 missing order of fries and refused to refund her the money or resend the correct food. Oh for realz? That makes sense. AVOID. Delivery or otherwise.

I love this place. Excellent lunch and breakfast menu WITH healthy options AND great prices. Food is always fresh and Yummy and made with all my particulars. I usually go for a salmon burger with pepper jack, spinach, tomatoes, jalapenos and avocados on a wheat wrap. YES! I always have excellent customer service and the one time there was a slip up with an order the team was handled courteously and with urgency. Def a thumbs up.

The staff is incredibly friendly and conscientious. I don’t deny that it’s possible that some people’s orders have been made incorrectly, but isn’t it possible that this is due to ordering on the internet? Sometimes the internet may not be our friend! Also, if you’re in there ordering, they prepare the food right in front of you – they’ve never messed up my orders. The california wrap is good and they have another one I like, too. All of their food is well-priced and definitely hits the spot. If you live or work around here, totally stop by.

If you want to throw money away, this is a good place to do so. I wanted to like it, I really did. The menu looks good and it’s close, the prices are nice… I was excited. For nothing. I placed my order tonight at 8:17 and received my email saying it would be 30 – 45 minutes for delivery. Okay. That’s fine. At 8:52, I get a call telling me that they were out of the soda I ordered and offered me something else. I said that was fine. And it was. I was good. So, I go downstairs and sit on the stoop, waiting because that call plus the elapsed time indicated that they were on their way. At 9:22, I called to ask if everything was ok. I wasn’t mad. I wasn’t rude. I simply said, «Hi, I placed a delivery order…» and before I could say anything else, the guy on the phone said this: «You customers. We stop doing deliveries at 9:30 and you always want to call and place orders after 9:00. We have a lot to do.» … … … What the ??? I haven’t complained. I haven’t even given him ANY information other than I had placed an order and I get attacked? So, I respond, tell him that I know nothing about his restaurant and but that I am trying to support his business. He tries to overtalk me. That doesn’t happen because he has no right to do so. Look, if he’s having a bad night, that’s something he needs to keep within those four walls. As a customer, I don’t have to be attacked to buy supper. I could do it anywhere else. The delivery guy arrives at 9:33. He’s a very nice kid who apologizes and even offers to come back with the correct drink since they still didn’t get it right. I tell him not to worry about it. Again, he’s a good kid. I get upstairs. The soda and the burger are the same temperature. Yep, the burger and the soda. And the food is dry. A dry burger and dry chili cheese fries. Is there even such a thing as dry chili cheese fries? From Lil’ Bites there is. I took two bites out of the burger and one bite of the fries before throwing them away because there was absolutely nothing appetizing about them. Now I am on my way to the bodega for dinner. It’s 10:01. I started this journey almost 2 hours ago. If you WANT to support this establishment — and it would have to come out of want — them I strongly suggest that you go there and pick it up. No issue with the delivery guy, but why eat food that isn’t even lukewarm?

I placed an order on . Good menu selection. Good portion sizes. Good quality food. Fair prices. Reasonable delivery time. Seasoned fries taste great! Kinda like Cajun fries to me. Sweet potato fries are not bad, but could have been a bit crispier. They kind of had a limp to them, but the flavor was still there. I am a brownie fiend and was surprised at the large sized brownie they gave me. It was a little too sweet for me w/the frosting on top, but then again, I in particular do not like frosting on my brownies. Will order from them again without hesitation. This is a good addition for Harlem.

another one sinks in harlem picked up food here a couple of times, service was a bit slow and i was the only one inside…15 mins to make a sandwich? REALLY? decided to give delivery a try last week, it was raining and I can understand if you need a few more mins to prepare for a delivery… my order took 45 to come from FBD to ACP. WTF. I called because I wanted to pick it but the guy had already left… i got my order and he forgot two things, called back… they were closed. I thought i would call again tonight, only because there are a few places in harlem to get a decent meal. Placed an order at 9:40pm for 1 burger &1 sandwich, called back at 10:20 asking the status of my order. The guy on the phone said that he mentioned to me the first time it would take a long time(MADEUPSTORY) and that they were closing and he also said that he has all 3 of my salads were ready and it would take a few more mins.(WHOTHEHELLORDERED3SALADS) Canceled that order i think i gave this place too many chances,

Somehow I didn’t notice this place until yesterday. When I walked by, the owner gave me a menu and seemed really nice. I was SOHAPPY to see that they had vegetarian options that can be made vegan. Since my favorite vegan restaurant closed last year, it’s been pretty impossible to find local food that I can eat, so finding a place that has veggie burgers, wraps and paninis is awesome! Tonight I stopped in and ordered a veggie burger. The preparation was quick, and it was very tasty(even my cat was trying to get in on the action)! I wanted to order a bubble tea, but neither the cook nor the owner knew how to make it yet, so I deducted one star. I’m excited to have a new restaurant where I can pick up a treat or meal on nights when I don’t want to cook. Delivery is a $ 10 minimum; haven’t used it, and probably won’t since I live so close. Also, they have wifi, and a good selection of drinks and chips. I can see myself becoming a regular here — while I was waiting, the other two customers who came in seemed to frequent the place. I hope this place succeeds!
