I’ve been a regular at this place for years and was so sad when they had to close the old location. I didn’t know where they went. So for those of you looking for this place, they were forced out of their old location. They’re up an running again with a new name– Chill– at 33rd and Park Avenue(212) 213‑2000. The new place is newly renovated and much larger AND they were able to retain the staff from the other location, which I think says a lot for how they treat their staff(let alone their clients!). They use high end products and their prices are pretty good– even better if you buy a package of the services you do regularly. They are honoring gift certificates and packages/series purchased at the old location and are SO appreciative when their loyal customers come back. They learned their lesson from not collecting clients’ phone numbers and emails and are now rebuilding their clientele. So if you’re new or old to this place– GO!- you won’t be disappointed either way.

My fab co-workers got me a gift certificate here for my birthday. They love me. They know I need some pampering with my 18hour day lifestyle. So I go, the girl was super nice and helpful when I made the appointment. The whole first room unassumingly looks just like one fun tempting beauty boutique. Try to get away with out testing one of the lotions or buying something! I dare you! Anyway, I was led to the back area which had a few chairs, some soothing music, and a pitcher of water with fresh-cut strawberries inside. In truth, I was a little disappointed. I think I was expecting a grande waterfall and loungy massage chairs, maybe some Brazilian men offering me a cocktail, and a steam room. I dunno, I’m crazy like that. But the strawberry water was a nice touch. But yes, I waited just a short time before I was led into my private room. Nothing special really, but it was relaxing! I went for the hot stone massage mixed with a regular swedish massage. Two thumbs up! Overall it was a lovely experience.
