In the mood to sing on a Sunday night around 7pm, my sister and I came here because it was cheaper compared to other karaokes nearby. For 2people/1 hour it was $ 32.66(including tax) which isn’t bad cause up to 4 people/hr they charge the same price. The staff were cool and professional, the interior was kept neat and clean, my sister thought the songs were bit outdated but not as much, whenever in the mood for karaōke will be coming back again.

Literally the worst. I think they are fine when it’s a weeknight and they’re not as busy, but the way their staff handles the business during busy hours is absolutely atrocious. My friend called them and made a reservation very clearly for tonight. When we arrived at Karaōke Wow though, the woman at the front desk said that our reservation had been cancelled and that the room we reserved was already booked. She said that they had called my friend after she had already made a reservation to «confirm» but since my friend didn’t pick up, they cancelled it — not even bothering with a voicemail. Funny thing is, my friend went through her phone history and didn’t see any incoming call from them. Hmmmm… The kicker is that even after the rude and terrible treatment with our reservation and the way the woman was trying to blatantly deny that they didn’t call my friend, when we tried to make another reservation for later in the night, the woman suddenly said«oh we don’t do reservations». Oh really? How convenient for you. The take-away: don’t come here expecting your reservation to mean anything at all. Actually, don’t even bother coming here.

This place is the best!!!(At stealing your money). If you are looking for a great karaōke experience where you don’t even end up singing and instead you get your money stolen by one of the employees, this is your place! Would definitely recommend for money stealing services. I plan on coming here again very soon next time I feel like having the bartender steal from me. 10⁄10!

Average Ktown karaōke venue. It’s slightly overpriced for a place that offers just your standard karaōke experience, with average décor and a song list that’s ever so slightly out of date. It was a little off-putting to step in and see a huge stain on one of the couches that looked like it had just been cleaned… I guess the owners can’t do much if something happened with previous guests but perhaps clean it 100% or leave that room vacant for the rest of the night? Not a bad option if you’re just looking to sing with friends without that much fanfare!

I went Wow for last Wednesday early evening. I think it was around 7pm. We order the combo package A which is including soju, beer and small plate. It was good for 4people. The staff was very friendly. Since the store was not that busy, they gave us bonus minutes! Yay! I will come back with my other friends for special occasions :) Ps: unlike other karaōke, they have alot of food selection!!!

Super fun time! Love that the rooms are private, and big enough to have a large group of people in there. Awesome drink list, large song list, but its a bit pricey. Went there with a group of people and we ended up spending almost $ 600 in about 2 hours, ha!

I’ve been waiting to write this review, and finally decided it was time. Karaōke Wow is definitely NOT worth the price. Went in for a friend’s birthday after eating at Miss Korea(also not the best), since it was conveniently located right above the restaurant. Prices aren’t listed anywhere, so you have to rely on the employees to provide consistent information. We were told it would be $ 10 a person for one hour, which seemed reasonable. The song selections were pretty good, both English and Korean pop. A few friends ordered expensive drinks, which were delivered by one of the guys that was at the front desk, but were apparently watered down(I cant speak to this myself). When the hour was up, they quickly kicked us out with no option to stay longer since they«had a line of people waiting to get in.» Lie. But, okay, I was done singing for the night. Go to pay the bill, and we are told we are short $ 50+. The woman we were paying typed furiously into a calculator and kept shouting«More! More! Not enough!» This made no sense to me, as we paid the price for drinks and the $ 10 a person. A couple of people in our party didn’t care, and put more money down, so I put an extra $ 10 as well. In the elevator, we realize we definitely overpaid the woman, and so we go back up. She and some other guy can’t find our receipt, but somehow know we didn’t pay enough at first. She says we didn’t tip them properly so that was why she asked for more money. Excuse me?! Tip is discretionary. You simply cannot ask for more money because you felt stiffed by us. If a specific tip is necessary for a party bigger than a certain amount, they should build it into the total, but that was not the case. I spoke my mind and said this to them as one friend tried quieting me. Nope — sorry I’m not sorry for not wanting to pay them more for a lack of service provided. Left the premises promising to write a negative Unilocal review about such a shady joint. Now I know why Karaōke Wow does not have an exclamation point in it’s name although it screams for it; because Karaōke Wow certainly does not wow its customers.

Drinks were not only very expensive, but also very watered down. Music is out dated. Wait staff was incredibly rude and inattentive. But here’s the worst part. When the bill came out, the waiter claimed that all of our cards weren’t working and insisted on using this one girl’s card. This girl was very drunk, and barely coherent and was coerced into giving up her card. The waiter then charged it, signed the receipt«for her», and gave himself a near 100% tip. In short — You should NEVER go here.

We ordered a pitcher of soda and they watered it down in front of us. They were very adamant about us having to leave the room to order and brink drinks back. I don’t think that I have ever come across such an unpleasant wait staff in my life. The only time they smiled, or even pretended like I was worth talking to was when I pulled out my credit card to pay at the end.

Went in was told since we were a new customer the charge was 30’hr. Stayed an hour and a half serve and facility was standard music pretty small collection. Got bill drinks reasonably priced. Charged $ 30 for first hour $ 25 for half hour told me the first hour was happy hour. She also pointed out that the tip wasn’t included and 15% was customary. I tipped on the drink bill not on the room she pointed out that wasn’t sufficient rather rudely.

Literally just left the place… My friends and I wanted a place to sing our hearts out before leaving NYC. And just so happens this was the place we saw as we sat at POCHA32… When we arrived, the girl at the front desk quickly just wanted to get us into a room. She didn’t want to answer any of our questions. We are not from here so we had simple questions… Like. How much? & what time do you close? After going back and forth with the English barrier we finally doing out that it’s $ 40 an hour and that they closed around 2 – 2:30am… Onto my experience… 2 stars because the place is nice… I like the cleanliness and the rooms were big and nice. However the reason why it’s getting«2STARS» is because of the way she asked for the tip in the end. FIRST of all. Idk how they do it here… But in CA. ESPECIALLYATKARAOKEBARS. We don’t normally tip. They just assign the rooms and charge us. Here. She did the same thing… Assigned us a room and left us be. NOTONCE did she come back and check on us. NOTONCE did she ask how we were doing. now. That’s normal for me. I don’t expect them to check on us at karaōke bars. But if that’s the case. WHYAREYOUASKINGFORTIP?! When we got out to pay. She straight up pointed and said«Tip was not included»… We know tip was not included! You’re a karaōke bar. So we gave her a few bucks then she AGAIN. Pointed at the tax and said. «But. But.» After hearing and seeing that. I was mad and just left. My other friend actually gave her some more cause she was practically begging for it. But OMG. I’ve neeeever heard of that. We were a party of 4. Did absolutely nothing for us. How do you ask for tip? Geez! I would truly give this place 1 star for this case but it was a nice place. So 2. But geez! So glad I never have to come back.

Nice clean karaōke place but why the 2 stars ? Their music selection is very old and limited. It doesn’t have a lot of the songs that I wanted to sing. Also, it’s freaken expensive. $ 40/hr for 4 people is kind of overpriced for karaōke. They’re very rude as well, my friend went out to order a small sake bottle and the guy kept saying it only pours 4 shots… Who cares??? It’s up to us what we want to order, and it poured 8 shots btw! When we went out to pay, the girl literally tapped on the receipt and said«tips are not included» so my friend gave her $ 3 and she was like ummm tip should be $ 12. Wtf ??? What did you do for us??? NOTHING. why is tip MANDATORY??? Idk if that’s a rule in NYC but where I’m from we don’t need to tip for karaōke… And no one taps on the bill and says that!!! Ugh. If I live here I would never come back. Save your money and go to 5 other karaōke spots in ktown. I’m sure they’re cheaper and not make you tip.

Not as up to date with songs as other spots such as Duet or Chorus, but a wonderful staff to make up for it. Without going into details, I will say that the staff handled one particular situation in a manner that was very professional and receptive to the customer’s needs. This was a refreshing dose of proper hospitality. High quality microphones-check.

There’s not all that much to say about karaōke bars. They’re all pretty average. It was clean and had a good selection of songs. That’s pretty basic I feel. However, the pricing was a little whack. The rooms were expensive and only came with the room. There are plenty of other places that have the drinks and stuff included. We got a few cocktails and they weren’t anything amazing, especially for the price. I’m pretty sure I won’t be back there.

Wow this place sucks!!! The rooms are big, and private and you can do «Whatever» you want in them, but the music selection is lacking. 1– all the artists, the right words but the artist is not actually signing, its just the background beats –so unless you are a great singer(an NO you are not) the experience becomes painful and embarrassing for most 2– The music videos that play on the huge TVs are not the actual artist in the songs, instead they are crazy cartoons or whales swimming in the sea(oh yes –random)

Just no. K-town has a plethora of karaōke spots and this has to be the worst. The prices are insane. They do not allow BYOB and the song selection is weak and out of date. Rooms were sticky and the couches were stained. Apparently this joint also operates as a little more then just a karaōke spot as some of my friends who accidentally opened the door to a different room observed some sort of strange orgy. We’re talking full on boot knocking. This place is fucking nasty.

This place was an EPIC fail. OVERPRICEDMUCH?! $ 395.00 for 2 hours +1 bottle of cheap sake &2 yogurt sojus. –they automatically charge you tip. YOUDON’T GETTODECIDEHOWMUCH20% -$ 95/hr if not MORE –weak drinks –HORRIBLESONGSELECTIONS –they harass you about bringing in any type of food/drink. just throw everything away before you come in. they’ll check your bags. All in all… a big disappointment for a KOREAN karaōke joint. I was embarrassed to bring my out of town friends here. T-T They paid way too much. for a not so fun… over priced time with 10 pages of old songs.(NORECENTUPDATES) **NOTAMERICANFRIENDLY**

My friends and I were deciding which karaōke place to head to. all of the karaōke places in K town have almost the same rates… so 40 dollars an hour. for a not so small but smallest room I guess??? To be honest. I really don’t know how to rate a karaōke place… they are about the same. it depends on which groups of friends you are going with. yea. that’s right. I came with 2 other girls and we had fun! This place attracted us to stay because of the lights. I guess? It looks fun!!! Of course. you need to have fun in a karaōke place. just sing and yell like nobody cares…(no one will care actually) :P System here is not too bad… They have almost all of the English songs. I just dislike karaōke places in US because they do not have the original instrumental and the mtv. :(
