Karaoke Champ

I recently threw a birthday party for my husband and got the Karaōke Champ Lite package, which was absolutely perfect!!! I was worried they wouldn’t have the songs we wanted, but nobody at the party had trouble finding the exact song they wanted.
If you order for a weekend day then you get the machine from Friday to Monday. Delivery was extra, but they set it up and show you how to use it. The machine also comes with all the equipment you need, including a 17″ monitor and three microphones. For the weekend the whole package (with delivery and pick-​up) was around $ 400, and I it was definitely worth it!
The people who work here are so sweet and helpful. They were on time both for delivery and pick-​up and obviously knew what they were doing. The best part was that we had an absolute blast! Many people asked where they could rent a karaōke machine like the one we had. Karaōke Champ… obviously!

My Wife and I decided to have a karaōke machine available for the baby shower. After some research, we decided to go with Karaōke Champ and we were so happy that we did. They let us keep from Friday to Tuesday we had the best time ever. The equipment was top notch and easy to use, all I had to do was connect the HDMI cable to my 70in TV (even supplied us with a back up microphones). The best part of the deal was the amount of songs that were included (we went with the high package) which was way over 25,000! The song list is constantly updated. Karaōke Champ kicked a – !l

I rent the karaōke set-​up from Karaōke Champ once a year as we are extremely satisfied customers. The customer service is always great as well as the very reasonable cost for a weekend rental. I highly recommend using their service. You can never go wrong with karaōke. It’s always a great time!!!

I used Karaōke Champ for a work event and they were amazing! Very pleasant and easy process. We even had an operator come for the 4 hours who made it seamless. I highly recommend!

I used Karaōke Champ for my 31^st birthday party and the machine was amazing.
I think it was $ 107 for friday-​monday, and I used it at my boss’s party, my party, and then had a sing a long the morning after with all of us who powered through and didn’t sleep. :)
The sales people were very friendly (they gave me 10 free songs on top of the deal) and I will absolutely be going back again.
The only problem I had was connecting the wires on the back of the machine after I moved locations from one night to the next. The diagrams in the user manuals could be a bit better :)
Luckily, I have some great audiophile/​dj friends who saved the day. Phew!

From the first contact, the people at Karaōke Champ were completely professional and helpful. They made the process of hosting a party as easy as it could be. They were timely in delivery and set up, and took care to make sure that we were trained in how to use the system. Using the equipment was easy and there were thousands of songs to choose from. Before Karaōke Champ, karaōke systems in NYC was a bit like the wild wild west. You just never knew what you were going to get. Outside of the Duet franchise, Karaōke Champ has a song selection about as updated as they come.
They’re among the smartest people in the business. K-​Champ has managed to capitalize on a local industry centered around karaōke venues that simply didn’t have the bandwidth to manually update their songs to keep up with the demand. As a result, there is some consistency at similar venues and chances are if you have a go-​to song at one place that uses the K-​Champ system, it’s probably the same # at the next. And if you haven’t figured it out already, K-​Champ is not a venue, but rather a karaōke system that is spreading around the city like wild fire. I’ve even seen it in San Francisco, at places like Yamasho’s in the Tenderloin.
The fact their song selection transcends English is fantastic. Nothing says versatility like being able to pick from Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish as well. I imagine there is a reason Korean isn’t part of the selection, but let’s hope that’s just a temporary thing. Not sure if your song is part of the mix? Just check the entire catalog online:
So as long as the system continues to get better, I don’t see it as a «monopoly» problem in the industry. There is always going to be competition on the song selection front and it seems like karaōke is here to stay in NYC.
Lastly if you guys at Karaōke Champ are reading this, I would really appreciate it if you would please add «Ludacris — What’s Your Fantasy?» and «LL Cool J — Doin It» to your selection.

I rented from these guys and they were super-​nice, fast and reliable. The song selection was also really good and the machine was easy to use. I’d recommend them.
