Bad environment and the worst service! They ask you to pay the service fee at the beginning! Never ever do that! If you do that, you will know what is the worst service.

CASHONLYALERT! A party of 6(myself included) stumbled in here after being stuffed with Hot Pot a few blocks away. We needed to work off our food comas, so we decided to come here. You must speak with the front desk/hostess stand attendant, who will walkie-talkie to the higher floors(which I’m assuming are all karaōke rooms), to check for availability. Once you get assigned a room number, you can take the elevator to the appropriate floor, etc. The room is very clean, and unlike Korean karaōke rooms(which I have semi-fond memories of) – they do NOT reek of cigarettes! Of course, you aren’t allowed to smoke in the rooms, but it was just pleasant for me as a non-smoker to be able to enjoy the clean, well-lit room. One downside is that many of the buttons(if not all) are in Chinese, so you might need a guide, or you can press the ‘service’ button on the side of the door to call someone to assist you. There are many American pop songs, though it isn’t COMPLETELY top-chart hits of the current week. But it was still fun. Another downside I experienced halfway through karaōke was that the artist of the song also sings along with you, thus drowning out your voice. On the bright side, if you’re a shy singer, it might make you more confident in singing in front of your friends. Also, the corresponding music video plays with the song! SO great. I learned later that you can lower the voice of the artist, so that you can hear your own voice more. Oops. PS. Pressing the song title directly bumps that song to be the next one played, instead of queuing it to the bottom of the«next» list, if that makes sense. PPS. A group of 6 people came at around 8pm on a Saturday night for 1.5 hours, and the total was about 60 $ including the service charge(which was a bit ridiculous, since they do nothing, but whatever). PPPS. ***CASHONLY***

The place is pretty nice and upscale. They have a wide song selection. And it’s a really great deal too, since you get free food/drink up to the cost of your room. However the one major flaw is that they allow smoking inside, so our room smelled like smoke. We asked for a non-smoking room but it seems like they don’t have any of those since the guy came back with a can of febreeze as the solution.

Weird spot. Overpriced! The karaōke is controlled by the patrons and people can skip other people just by hitting an arrow. So a whole group of people can just sing a million songs in a row. And there are not a lot of English songs. The ones they have are hard to search for you. The place looks cool on the inside tho and has huge screens and a pretty mic.

The worst karaōke bar in terms of service. We ordered two drinks and it took the waiter 30 mins to bring them to us. They even charges us a 18% mandatory service fee, which is absurd given that kind of service. Plus, this place is cash only, but they also include taxes in the bill – also ridiculous because I believe the all cash rule was set for tax evasion. Won’t recommend the place. Sometimes I think people simply ignore the 2 – 3 dollar additional charges and taxes, but this is in fact helping the illegal businesses. I’m posting these here hoping it would raise the awareness of the local residents. Let’s fight against these criminals.

Nice place to chill out. Rooms were spacious and good selection of songs. Food was pretty good too. Service was a little slow, but it was during the day

This place is a lot classier and more upscale than a lot of other KTV bars in Chinatown. It is also super cheap for drinks here, although some of the cocktails are a bit watered down. Aside from being able to rent your own private rooms, they have a communal bar area upstairs that is pretty roomy. They sometimes play sporting events on the projector. This bar is very empty though even on the weekends, so unless you’re going with a bunch of friends, you’ll be pretty bored.

Terrible management and awful service! I made a room reservation that started at 10pm for my birthday party. We got there like 5 mins late because of the bad traffic and they gave the room that I reserved to other group of people without notifying me! Not even a call to me to confirm if I still want the room. How could you bloody cancel my reservation and gave it to some other ppl without telling me! Then what’s the point of having the reservation! And after that they were not even helping to rearrange a room but keeping us waiting for at least 20 mins and ignoring us with their«I don’t give a shit» attitude. To the staff of K-One: thank you for ruining my birthday party and being rude to me and my friends with the bad service and attitude. This is not the way to do business. I was supposed to spend a lot of money for my birthday party but my friends told me that this place wasn’t even worthy for me to pay a cent. We had our good time in somewhere else.

I arrived 15mins early for a 3-hour reservation. Wanted to have a beer while eating for the group. The guy said since I ordered a beer he would start the clock. Very cheap behavior.

get the chicken wings!!! they are the best! The sound system is just okay, I like the karaōke places in flushing way better, but I think this is the best one in chinatown. Prices are decent during daytime, service sucks though, they don’t really respond to you. It’s $ 6 per head an hour with a minimum of 3 people per room.

I was here this past weekend celebrating a friend’s birthday, which was on the second floor that is an open place with a bar and seats. I think our group was the only one there? In any case, the space was great with plenty of seating, and it’s nice to not have to pay for a room separately from drinks(at least I did not know we needed to pay for karaōke). I also appreciated the fact that their microphones don’t give off feedback noise as much. There were both English and Chinese songs, although it’s a little weird to order songs since you have to write it on a piece of paper and someone at the bar would put it on. Sometimes the wrong song would come on and everyone would be confused. I did not see a song book but I am sure it exists. The bar staff was really friendly although the menu was a bit pricey — $ 15/shot is like, meh? If I got the same amount of alcohol in a cocktail it would be $ 12 so what is special about the shot? I think beers are $ 8 which is reasonable. In any case, I liked the bartenders… until I asked for a glass of water about an hour later. So since we were a large group a lot of drinks were ordered. yet when I went up and asked if I could just have some tap water the girl at the bar said«we do not have tap water». Excuse me? I am sure legally every building has to have access for tap water, and I am almost sure legally a bar has to have tap water to offer to patrons upon request. But no — I was offered to buy a bottle of water at $ 3. Are you serious? At first I was mad at the girl, but now I realize it’s probably not her fault. Still, I can’t help but hold a personal grudge against her for implementing this ridiculous rule. Seriously, water is free for all in NYC, especially for people who pay taxes here. I have never been denied tap water at any bar or restaurant until here and it’s just ridiculous. My boyfriend filled up his beer bottle with tap water, which was pretty much all I wanted. Thanks for nothing. *Only gave 2-star because other than the whole mishap it was actually an alright place otherwise.

Snazzy and glitzy, K-One offers a wide range of songs, drinks, and rooms to guests. The sound systems are top notch, and the soundproofing on the rooms is pretty good; standing in the hallway or the next room, it’s hard to hear others singing next door. Everything is clean and modern as well, and service is efficient. The only criticism I have is that I wish there was a wider range of food; the eats they do have, however, are quite tasty, and include things like chicken wings, skewers, and other bar snacks – nothing filling though.

My first time going to karaōke and it was an okay experience. I wasn’t crazy about it. The place is located on the 2nd floor and up. If you’re looking for the counter to book the room, there is none. You need to find the tiniest room where you book the room. It’s about $ 6 per person for one hour. The rooms are nice. You can really project yourself in the microphones and you be heard all over the floor. I heard a lot of bad singers in some rooms including myself. The song selections needs some upgrading. I couldn’t find a lot of songs that I wanted. Had a lot of Chinese/Asian type songs.

The worst service ever! We ordered some little snack and waited for one hour and a half! Then, the staff wanted to kick us out half an hour in advance, claiming we booked the wrong time. Moreover, this place only receive cash but charge you tax, I pretty sure it is a way they want to avoid the demand for tax! Anyway, don’t go!

I’m not big into the karaōke scene but I was sufficiently impressed with this place. Our new friend Adrian had made a reservation at 10pm so we ventured down from K-Town after dinner. It’s $ 50 per hour for a room that could easily fit 7 – 8(there were 5 of us)… plus food/drink credits to get whatever we wanted off the menu. Facilities are really nice and fancy, sort of futuristic looking. We were there for 2 hours, and including the 18% gratuity and tax, it was about $ 29 a person.

*the service button will become your best friend for the night if you want to order food, drinks, or get help on the machine and/or anything. *not the best selection for English songs/artists, but doable. *when ordering tea, ask for it in a pitcher. Otherwise, they’ll give you the bottled ones. *food/drinks are covered up to the amt of the room per hour. Order everything(*fries!). *outside food is not allowed, but you can leave it with them until you’re done singing.

This has been my(and I’m sure many people’s) go to ktv place in Chinatown since they’re most well known in the area, they have renovated the rooms in the past 2 – 3 years and they are very modern now. The ordering system is pretty easy to use if you can read Chinese otherwise can just get help to switch it to English and the sound system and microphone are all working pretty well most of the time. Song selection were pretty good in Chinese but I had a few newer English songs I couldn’t find in their database. Now getting to the negatives, honestly their rate are pretty high. Our room could sit maybe 8 at most and with 6 of us for two hours comes out about $ 30+ a person. I could cut them some slacks since it was prime singing time but looking at other competitors rates definitely see cheaper options around. They also did us a disservice by not letting us know their food ordering policies. Apparently once they print out the bill(about 15 min before end of the reserved time) wouldn’t be able to order any more items. We had about $ 75 worth of food credit still left unused because of that. I guess mainly because they don’t have much competition nearby so they could more lenient and lax about customer services. Honestly after last time’s experience made me more adamant about looking for other alternative the next time I’m singing in the area.
