The lady name with N(I guess she is new) did my nail a week ago and I am still having non-crack perfect nails! They give you a short massage while you dry your nails which is great! They have the cheapest pedi-mani in West village and I love both of service and my nails

I would go to another salon. Their service and services are mediocre. They rub and not massage. Totally NOT satisfied.

Love my neighborhood nail salon The people here are super friendly, and nails are always done right. What more can I ask for

Already loving my pedi and it’s not even done yet. Thorough cleaning and welcoming service. Very hygienic. They had my favorite Essie color(urban jungle!) so it was an immediate win for me. $ 28 mani/pedi which is pretty great for west village.

Great service and fabulous nails! I just moved to the West Village(from SF, CA) and am always skeptical about finding a good nail salon anywhere I travel. I was very happy to find K & F Nail Spa down the street from my apartment. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. I have never had to wait and I almost never make an appointment ahead of time because I travel so much for work. These folks do a fabulous gel polish manicure, all of the legit branded products are used, resulting in an easy application and removal process(very important when using gel polish). They even have fingerless gloves for customers to wear to protect our hands from the UV light! They remember you after your first visit. They will fix anything you’re not happy with. Pricing is very reasonable. It doesn’t look much since it’s a very basic nail salon, however I rather have great service/nails than be in a spa-like setting with bad service/nails. Highly recommend this place to anyone living in the area or visiting! Thank you K & L Nail Spa :)

My manicures from K&F ALWAYS last at least 5 – 6 days… I don’t know what they do but it’s fantastic service! They shape my nails perfectly, respond to any requests that I have along the way and really give a great manicure for the price.

People are nice but quality is bad. I know the instructions very well and they do not take time to do a pedicure. Came in, soaked my feet for a minute max. She started buffed my toes for one second each. Started cutting cuticles if you can even call that at 9:28pm and was done w all ten toes at 9:30. By the time she was putting lotion on my legs it was 9:34. She barely massaged it or even took any cuticles off. I was done the same time the girl next to me was. Very fast service. Basically $ 2/minute. Am not going back again.

Love coming here for my gel manicures. Customer service is great: — super friendly and remember you even after going there once — super detail-oriented and are willing to fix things if you’re not completely satisfied — you’ll never feel rushed, even if you come in 30 minutes before closing

After overcoming some language barriers I got a polish change here yesterday and they did a great job. The women were all very kind and no chipping on day 2, fingers crossed! $ 7.50 for a mani polish change but take note they are CASHONLY. There is an ATM inside the place but you’ll be hit with a $ 2.00 fee. So… bring cash! The fact that they don’t take cards is the only reason I’m not giving five stars.

Hands down the nicest place to get your nails done, ever. The women are incredibly friendly. It’s small, so you’ll likely have to wait a little, but those prices are pretty great — Just $ 50 for a 10 min foot/leg massage, 10 min back massage, a mani and a pedi. I’d come back again. The only bummer is that both mani + pedi chipped only two days post.

I wanted to update my previous review simply because it’s more than a year later and I’m still faithful to this place for a number of reasons: 1. Great customer service. 2. Great work — if you aren’t satisfied, they make it right. 3. Great hours — not many places do mani/pedis after 8PM 4. Great location — there are TONS of places to shop/eat/drink near by. Unless they move away I will keep coming back.

Good neighborhood place, relatively cheap and enjoyed my Mani pedi for $ 28. They have a rewards card so after your tenth visit you get a free manicure which is nice. Place seemed clean and the girls were friendly. No complaints here!

You know I avoided this place because I kept seeing my 2 star updated review and now I wish I hadn’t! I was seated very quickly for my pedi and found it to be really relaxing. Loved that it included an exfoliating leg scrub and they give you real flip flops(as opposed to the paper ones that are just begging you to slip and smudge.) The woman who did mine was one of the sweeter, skilled techs I’ve had in a while. And the space itself is really clean and very bright on a sunny day like this. $ 25 later, I’ll be back.

Went there on a friday for a manipedi. Total disclaimer i like to do my own nails. The nail lady was really sweet, love my gel mani and my pedicure looks great. Might do it myself less now and more there. They have a 10 manicure one free punchcard.

Tiny place … there seem to be a lot of regulars. They gave me a nice gel manicure and the price was standard. The stand out thing here is the gloves with cut out tips they give you to protect your hands from the UV light. My grandmother would be psyched to hear I have a slightly lower chance of developing hand cancer.

The staff were lovely, but my pedicure chipped after a week. That’s never happened to me before, even when I did my own pedicure. Perhaps it was the nail polish, but sadly I will not go back for a pedicure. The place is small and only has 2 dryers, but the price is nice and cheap.

They definitely do things differently out here in the Apple than back home in SF. Not that that’s a bad thing, mind you. It’s just different. I normally have my nails covered with a UV gel overlay. They don’t do that here very much in NYC, I’ve found. No biggie, but I broke a nail. I quickly surmised that I would probably end up with a white tip to match the pink and white that I have and that was fine. I was getting ready for a date and just needed it done. The method of «painting» the acrylic powder on they don’t do here either. Instead, they paint your nail with the acrylic bond, then tap the powder from a little vial, then paint more bond, then tap, then bond, then tap… it makes for a very thin layer, which I do like. But the result isn’t all that great, honestly. It looks like I have white stuff under my nail, and I’m not quite sure why. But, I’m thinking that most NYC chicks do the regular mani/pedi combo and so these salons don’t have the skills to do it as well as I’m used to in California. In a pinch, you can go here. But I can’t see it as a regular stop.

Although I’ve only given four stars, please note that I will probably make this my regular nail salon for manis/pedis. The few things that are cons are not a big deal in my book and ultimately, the service and friendly staff make this a great little spot! Pros: — Really nice staff(I had KiKi and highly recommend her!) — Affordable at $ 28 for mani/pedi, but I got the $ 45 spa pedicure and it was the best bang for my buck(my feet are extremely dry and I have cracked heels) with exfoliation, multiple moisturizers and wonderful leg/foot massage as well — Kiki asked if I wanted my nail cuticles cut, which I really appreciated and even though I said no, she noticed there were a few nails that really needed it and double checked with me on those particular nails; which I was fine with her cutting and she did it well. — You get a frequent customer card and after 10 visits, you get a free manicure Cons: — This place is small(only two stations for dryers — and they don’t have timers, so you have to check on your own for when your nails are dry). — The massage chairs don’t seem to really do much beyond pulse/vibration; but it could also be that I just didn’t know how to work the controls — Not not luxurious by any means Overall: I think this is the perfect(and for me, extremely location-convenient) place to get my regular mani/pedi. But if you’re looking to treat or pamper yourself, I would recommend a higher-end spa/nail salon. Otherwise, it’s a clean place with friendly technicians who get the job done well! P. S. — They do accept credit cards, but it’s a $ 20 minimum.

My pedicure has stayed well, but my GEL manicure has already chipped a ton within 1 week of getting it! The whole point of gel is so that it does not chip for weeks… and in my experience, it usually doesn’t chip until week 3! I’ve had tons of them and been very happy. This was the worst gel manicure I’ve had. In addition, the employees kept asking me if I wanted a «spa pedicure» or if I wanted a «10 minute massage» or «gel pedicure». I said specifically«I want a regular pedicure and a gel manicure»… so it was really annoying that they kept trying to offer me more expensive services. The space is OK. Prices are also pretty reasonable. But I would NOT come back!
