The place to go when in Lower Manhattan! Pizza cooked to perfection, great selections of beverages and drinks, and wonderful customer service. Totally love the ambiance of this place and their friendly crew that treats everyone like royalty. Look nowhere else.

The atmosphere is quite romantic. They got a party tonight so we just sat at the bar. Service is quite great. Food is just alright.: lasagna is over-cooked and a little bit too salty. Didn’t order pizza though. Maybe it’s better?

Great place to order for large groups. Their Marghertia pizza is the best and I love the arugula salad. Looking forward to dining in and checking out the pasta entrees.

I love the Sicilian pie for delivery but the neat thing about Inattesso is that dining at the restaurant is also a great experience with fast service, great entrees and specials and a very relaxed low key atmosphere. Inattesso is our go-to for pizza delivery and it is a welcome find for anyone in BPC or FiDi.

Inattesso is the perfect restaurant for a quiet lunch in downtown Manhattan. The food is pretty good and the service is helpful. The environment is casual and provides a clean, lightly decorated place. I recently had lunch with a couple of friends at Inatteso and pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the staff and moderate prices for the area. I ordered the 12″ Bianca pie for myself which included mozzarella, Parmesan, tomato sauce, basil and olive oil. Pizza pies are made fresh with each order and perfectly seasoned. This pie is more than enough for one person. The restaurant fills up during lunch time which naturally can cause longer wait times. Come here when you plan on taking a leisurely lunch break. Overall, a pleasant experience and would love to return here for more pizza and wine in the future.

Was here Friday night around 9. The atmosphere was really romantic so I’d recommend this place to couples who want to go on a date night. There were candles everywhere and it felt very calming. I got the ravioli and it was good. Pasta was cooked well and the filling was just the right amount. I wish the ravioli had a little extra kick or something to it. It just wasn’t super flavorful. Service was good and it wasn’t too busy when I was there.

Inatteso generally had two size options(small and large) for their pastas and pizzas, which was great. A friend and I shared a small pie(a lot for one person, I would say) and a chicken dish. The pizza came out first, and they accommodated our request to add tomato sauce to our Funghi Pizza(mushrooms, ricotta, black truffle oil, parmesan). However, with each bite, I thought they gave us the marinara by mistake: the mushrooms were absolutely undetectable – I saw none, I tasted some ricotta, no black truffle oil in sight, not even parmesan. The breading wasn’t what I would typically consider as good neopolitan-style breading(chewy, seasoned crust). It was more soft like a Papa John’s pie. The chicken was so bad we couldn’t finish it. I packed mine for my cat who loves chicken. The chicken, spinach, potatoes were EXTREMELY salty; I almost choked. Everything was also entirely too acidic, like lemons were added with the salt in each stage of the cooking process. The skin wasn’t crispy, which is what was expected in a «cast-iron skillet chicken.» The server was very sweet and attentive, although there weren’t that many tables dining last night so I can’t say for certain what would be the case if it were busy. All in all, if you want good pizza fidi/battery park, try Neopolitan Express on Wall St.

Walked right in at 2 pm, no waiting. Service was a little slow due to multiple tables seating at the same time. However our food came quickly once it was ordered. Our party of six enjoyed the Bianca & Margherita pizzas. Our bill came out to less than $ 40 that included tip.

Well our favorite manager has left a few months now. No traditional two cheek kisses!. The place is not the same. Not the same upbeat excitement that Irene brought to the place. Can’t put a finger on it immediately. One reason of course is that the staff has all changed and I feel like an orphan. I’ve ordered and waiting the verdict. Stay tuned Ok ordered the ½ Rosemary chicken which came 20 minutes later. it’s just ok nothing special. The waiter’s been over pouring the San Pellegrino. And very mechanically asking in a monotone voice«is everything ok sir?» No panache. No passion. I could sit home and watch tv and order in. When you go out you WANT an experience. I don’t know why things changed but the owner of this place blew it! He should eat crow get Irene back. Fast!

The pizza here is delicious. Have ordered from here many times and eaten in the restaurant. The grandma pie is delicious as is the margarita and mushroom truffle one. You get that fresh homemade taste that you really don’t get many places. Highly recommend!!! Especially in an area that lacks great pizza.

Time of Visit: Tuesday; around 2pm Wait: No wait Price for two: $ 40(1 pizza + 1 pasta) Service: Attentive and friendly Items ordered: ~Margherita 12″($ 14) ~Large Mezzaluna($ 23) Would I return: Yes(if I was in the area) Notes: –The fact we went after lunch and during the weekday allowed us a chance to get seated and feed in a timely manner. –A small pizza and a entrée is a good amount of food for two. –Being that we just got through with Ellis Island, I felt a little under-dressed, but we weren’t the only ones. Positive Points: –The Other Half couldn’t stop raving about the Mezzaluna. Granted, the large only comes with about 7 – 8 pieces, it was delicious. –The complementary bread was also warm and tasty. Why the 4 out of 5? As much as we enjoyed the food, it’s not something I would make the trek out. You know? It was a quiet spot, and a nice way to end a rather sun filled day visiting the Statue of Liberty.

Came here to kill time ahead of a get together at a friend’s apartment. There ain’t much in the area and it was hit so I gave it a shot. I ordered a special iced mocha off the specials board. The surly barista squeezed a loudly flatulent chocolate syrup bottle into a plastic cup, put in a ton of ice, then poured coffee on it. I then tipped the barista(always a pet peeve when they don’t even say thanks) and he gave me my change with chocolate syrup all over the bills. I asked him for his dirty rag to wipe down the bills and the barista acted like I was going to steal it and run out the store with the wet towel. And the iced mocha was terrible.

Came here for dinner Friday evening, around 7pm and the place was relatively packed. However, the wait wasn’t too bad as we were seated after about 10 minutes. As soon as we were seated, the runner brought out the bread basket with dipping sauce. Now I’m one of those people who always eats the bread, and several pieces of it — I’ve even decided where to go out for meals based on which place has the best bread. I was a bit disappointed here as the breads tasted old. The basket included rolls and pizza dough garlic bread(which was even worse than the rolls). The dipping sauce made it slightly better but you can’t replace the moistness of bread with sauce. :( We then ordered the meatballs(polpette) and toscana pizza which has cracked egg on it! The meatballs were standard but I’m generally not a meatball person. The Toscana pizza though was absolutely heavenly — I can almost remember how good it tasted as I’m writing this. The eggs(two) on the pizza were a very interesting and positive combination with strips of prosciutto on top. The 12″ was more than enough for 2 people to share. We were so full we could barely move at the end. The service was also great — although they tried to take our plates away before we were done. Definitely recommend for their pizza!

I’ve been here twice and enjoyed it both times. The staff is polite and doting and the place is never too loud or overwhelmingly crowded. It’s a great date night place(dimly lit and romantic,) or, if you’re like me, a solid place to gorge oneself solo. The pizza is delicious. I highly recommend the Barese pizza. I haven’t had the pasta but my friend ordered the bolognese and said it was great. I’ll definitely be back!

I came here the other day for my best friend’s birthday dinner. She made reservations on(what I consider) one of the coldest nights of the year, at 16 degrees. When we arrived at the restaurant with an ice cream cake, we were told then for the first time that there was a «cake cutting fee»(verbatim). We agreed with discontent because it was practically the only restaurant in the area and it was freezing cold outside to go anywhere else. Please note that as we made the reservations and we were never told that there was going to be any cake fees for the birthday dinner. To add onto our experience, we were seated right by the door where the draft blew towards us and cooled our food so quickly that the pasta sauce solidified before we could finish our dish. In addition to our displeasure, they did not even help us cut our ice cream cake for us. We were even given an ordinary table knife to cut our ice cream cake… At least they sang happy birthday to my best friend? I guess to be fair, they did seat us down before our regular reservation time without a question or wait. Also, the food is decent for the price and neighborhood. The pasta was delicious and tasted like the fresh kind. I would recommend the pizza though because they offer delicious combinations of toppings.
