Heavenly Delights

I like respectable amount of old school candy this place keeps in store. Also enjoy the fact that every inch of the place is covered in candy or bobble heads. Is their bazooka bubble gum kept on the shelf to long, or do I just have inaccurate memories as to how enjoyable it is?

a) they sell candy
b) they sell HELLO KITTY candy and various hello kitty goods
c) they are friendly, although it is a little rude to ask my blonde friend if she is naturally that blonde, especially considering we’ve all been working hard to reassure her that her new highlights look good and definitely look natural

These are not gourmet, hand-​crafted, or fancy sweets. We’re talking Hershey’s ice cream and bulk of candy you would usually find packaged. And I’m totally fine with that kind of talk!
I’m pretty sure this is a chain, even though sometimes it’s called «World of Nuts» because every store looks exactly the same — packed and I do mean floor-​to-​ceiling PACKED with said sugary delights. I can’t ever pass one without going in to at least pick at something, so I feel lucky I don’t pass by them often. They make my sugar-​fiend eyes pop out of my head!
I’ve also always experienced nice employees. Must be all the sugar.

The World of Nuts & Ice Cream shop is small, downscale versions of the Upper East Side’s much slicker, fancier Dylan’s Candy Bar. At this little store you’ll find hundreds of bins packed with snacks; sweet – chocolate-​covered coffee beans and gummy worms– and salty, like pistachios nuts and wasabi peas, and much of the stuff we used to call Penny Candy,” way back once upon a time.
World of Nuts sells more than peanuts, ice cream, and candy. Each store is also amply stocked with party supplies: helium balloons, a rainbow array of stuffed animals, and greeting cards, for last-​minute gifts.
The prices are modest, affordable. The counter people are nice and sweet, although the guy flirted a bit and wanted my phone number and address.
For a big girl I seem to do well with men flirting for some reason to the announce of some of my girlfriends. Ha, Ha. When you got it, you got it.
Try flirting a bit the next time you go to that restaurant you like, I do, it may get you some good service and extras (I do it all the time, and you’d be surprised).
4 stars because of the guy flirting, he was one to where I did not flirt back. Not my type. Oh well, maybe next time. Ha, Ha.
