No view. The brunch doesnt even have waffles– just omlettes. And I found a hair in my food. Not what I would expect from Bloomingdales.

Always great salads and service. This place is great for vegetarians! You can get the zorbas salad, or the forty carrots chopped salad and sub for tuna. They also have great egg salad. I don’t care for their lasagna but its also vegetarian. Their cheese quesadillas are decent but not special. The kids menu is great they get milk and froyo included which is great. Look out for their specials like butternut squash ravioli, spinach quiche and salad. Ps their soups are all made with chicken broth so vegetarians don’t be fooled by the name«carrot soup». The best value is that you can order yogurt at the end for only 3 $ when you order an entrée or salad. This place is great with kids and always put you in a table that fits the stroller and give high chairs. Friendly clean and fun!

Hands down my favorite frozen yogurt. If you can battle through 6 floors of Bloomingdale’s and ignore the rude staff, you will be set for a treat. I love the plain yogurt with some fresh fruit. It is a huge portion of tart, creamy delicious yogurt that you can share with a friend and make both of you happy.

Dup of Two acceptable reason to eat froyo: ice cream is not available, and it’s an alternative to suffering through a department store experience. Two acceptable reasons to enter a department store, and ascend to floor 7: froyo is available and it’s 95 pre-heat index. Boasting 24 more carrots than its EVill competitor does Handles, this OG40 Carrots is in Bloomingdale’s flagship and has a dup … Keeping with the theme, there are just 2 flavors at the SoHo one, but this bad boy offers more, plus Konery cones. Still find the lack of info other than the nested … and and netstorage. bloomingdales… annoying, but $ 5.44 regular with coffee and peanut butter on a chocolate hazelnut cone isn’t a bad way to save a trip here.

This is a restaurant in Bloomingdales with average prices. It could easily be an upscale lunch to take a friend or a casual spot since the prices are affordable. It’s the main branch of forty carrots which has stands in major Bloomingdales across the country. The food here is pretty good but not amazing(hence the four stars) however no on comes here for the food. You come here for the yogurt. The yogurt is simply the best I have ever had. Better than pinkberry or red mango or anywhere else you can imagine with upscale froyo. Forty carrots has the best yogurt hands down and that is why you should come here. Get a small soup or salad as an appetizer to prepare for your meal of yogurt. The yogurt portions are generous and you don’t need any frill of toppings. On another note, the service here is pretty bad. It took us 30 minutes to get the check last time. But just be aggressive in your check getting and come here for the yogurt.

We come here just about every day for the best frozen yogurt in NYC. But I also sometimes eat from their lunch menu. The best homemade chicken soup ever. The freshest tasting tuna salad sandwich. And just about every food is tops! Service is always nice but can be slow at busy times.

Frozen yoghurt is good. Food is pretty bad. The staff are rude and not very helpful. We started off our shopping with a snack and regretted it.

Fantastic frozen yogurt, although only a few flavors, but great. The food is nothing special. I won’t go back for the food. But, I’ll be back for the frozen yogurt.

Located in Bloomingdales on 6th floor. Great frozen yogurt with all kinds of toppings. Fun atmosphere. Huge tuna sandwich without mayo or with.

LOVE the plain tart yogurt! So so creamy, and a perfect balance of sweet and tart. It’s better than Pink Berry, Yogurt-land, 16 Handles — everything! The small is around $ 4.50 before tax and the portion is huge! They fill swirl it up.

Really an unpleasant experience as this place is filled with angry shoppers, tourists, entitled upper east side princesses(and princes), and over-bronzed sniping cougars. To top it off the service here is very slow — it is really an spruced up delicatessen serving tuna/chicken salad concoctions at 2x deli prices. They probably could turn the tables here much faster if the wait staff are more efficient. Instead you have a long wait to sit down at the restaurant. The only saving grace is the frozen yogurt…

I loved this froyo! A size small is plenty for even the hungriest of customers, I can’t imagine what a large looks like. The flavor options are slightly limited but delicious nonetheless. Get a topping! They tuck them right in the middle of the froyo and it’s perfect. The only reason I didn’t give it 4 stars is that you have to not only fight the crowd through Bloomingdales to get up to forty carrots, you then have to fight another crowd to get your froyo. Not exactly a leisurely experience, but being a froyo lover, I felt it was worth it!

As many have pointed out, the frozen yogurt is worth the wait, and the restaurant is a great stop after a marathon shopping day at Bloomie’s. The only insight I can offer is that the small size is HUGE because they swirl up the fro-yo like a beehive hairdoo, so, ask them for a smaller portion of the ‘small’ if you don’t like wasting food.

How can you not love Forty Carrots. First of all it’s a great restaurant, but i usually come there more for a quick fro-yo snack and a drink to take a break from shopping. But just to commend the restaurant, its beautifully decorated and it’s perfect for brunch/lunch and everything in between! My favorite is their classic, non-flavored fro-yo. It has that plain yogurt taste, with a little sugar added. So it’s sweet and sour, and just the perfect combo. That just happens to be my preference, but they have tons of flavors. Usually in a flavors of the day type situation, were there are like 4 – 8 available flavors for that day and then they change on a daily basis. Plain is always available, and i think coffee flavor or something else is always available. Toppings. Oh! Toppings. Well, I don’t even know where i can begin. They offer EVERYHING??? YESSS. Literally everything from sprinkles, to fresh fruit, to jam, to chocolate, and anything else you can think of. You can add a topping for only a few cents more. Usually i get the Original flavor with the Raspberry preserve syrup. I can just die. It’s beyond amazing, even in the winter, I enjoy it immensely. CHAITEA = HEAVEN It gets very crowded, so go on an off hour, like weekday morning, weekday afternoon. NEVERWEEKENDS, BEWARE, YOUWILLBECRUSHEDBYTOURISTS!
