We tried the regular & red eye coffees, apple bran muffin and glazed doughnut. Great experience, great coffee & great food.

Only complaint — the room is REALLYNOISY. It would be great if they turned down the music.

Just to caveat, I am NOT a coffee drinker so I can’t comment on the coffee from Gregory’s Coffee(…which is a bit weird since it’s a coffee shop after all!). However, I have tried the Glazed Donut and the Whole Wheat Donut, both of which I enjoyed. The Glazed Donut is denser than most yeast donuts I’ve had. Not quite as dense as an old-fashioned. There is a generous pour of glaze on top. The Whole Wheat Donut is not as soft and it’s square-shaped. My gluten-free friend also loves their Rice Chex. It’s made with rice chex cereal, marshmallow, and butter — as simple and delicious as it gets! It’s also great that they have a gluten-free option too :)

Friday night and this place is packed. Good coffee, good dessert, good music. Smores cookie is fantastic. The chocolate melts in your mouth. Nice crowd. Good vibes.

Great place to have a nice one-on-one over coffee. Got a 16 oz chai latte for $ 4.50 — perfect amount of milk foam and just a tad sweet.

Pretty good espresso and cappuccino, certainly a full step above Starbucks, but not quite at the ethereal level of some of the small craft places. The cappuccino was a bit too big(too much milk) for the Italian gold standard and served a bit hot. Taste of the espresso was very good though. Fresh croissants were a bit small but excellent. For me, Stumptown and Zibetto are still the best. But Gregory’s is absolutely a good place.

Shawna and Brittany were a upbeat and bubbly. Some Unilocalers commented about poor customer service, but I didn’t see or experience that at all. From the moment I walked in to the second I left… these girls were AMAZING! Catalina made a DELICIOUS3 shot latte with a beautiful heart. Try this location for FABULOUS coffee and superior customer service!

Highly recommend the dirty chai. First time I’ve tried it and def a good afternoon pick-me-up. Only downside about this location is the space is limited. Gets crowded. The staff are really nice though.

I am not writing about their products, I am writing about their service. or lack there of. It was a very busy morning there because of the Thanksgiving Day Parade; as an emergency, I asked for my daughter and wife to use the restroom, which had a sign in Spanish saying it was closed. I spoke to one employee and she looked and was sincere and said to ask the manager. I even offered to make a purchase; at this time because of the situation, I didn’t care how much I would have to spend. She still insisted on speaking to the manager, Pedro. I walk to the counter and ask for the manager, didn’t even say one word, and with an EXTREMELY thick accent, he said«IT’S CLOSED.» I replied, «But sir, I…» «ITSCLOSED!» was his response. One more time I said, «Please you don’t understand the situation.» He said again, «NO, ITSCLOSED!» I walked out of the store enraged and said«Thank you for nothing, Pedro, Happy Thanksgiving.» This is not the thanks that a store should be giving to their customers, especially in this type of situation, and on this holiday. Customers are the reason for businesses to stay open. If I were the manager, I would have been, at the least, more empathetic to the situation. I hope Pedro’s wife and daughter never have to experience this because I would never turn down a customer in need.

Good cup of dripped coffee and good price for what you’re getting. They also do a lot of different brews so I’ll definitely have to come and try them all! I haven’t tried their pastries yet to comment on it. So I’ll update when I ever do. The baristas are nice and efficient. The seating area is cozy with pretty fast wifi. The restroom needs a code so remember to ask when you’re buying coffee if you plan to sit around and may use the restroom. It does get busy so that’s a tip to avoid traffic. :)

Great coffee. What more do you want in a coffee shop but great coffee. The pastries are good too. But did I tell you they have great coffee. I’ve had their coffee everyday we have been here, 4 so far, and it’s a great coffee. In case you missed it their coffee is great.

This coffee shop is very charming and the service is incredible. The gentleman at the counter explained each pastry and drink to me to ensure that I got something I would enjoy. I didn’t feel at all rushed and for a big city, this has a more intimate environment. The coffee is fantastic. Had a house brew with their homemade pumpkin spice syrup and warmed almond milk. It was incredible! I also highly recommend their banana nut pound cake. It is moist and flavorful and the nuts add a perfect touch. I will definitely be returning here often.

This is the first Gregory’s and the beginning of a coffee journey. They’ve got a really cool vibe — perfect for the financiers working in the neighborhood. The drinks, especially the iced latte, is amazing and my favorite. I think they have the PERFECT milk to espresso ratio — some places give too much milk(for example Bluestone). I think they’ve hit the sweet spot for me. The other thing to mention is their S’mores cookie. It’s so fluffy and soft. Not sure if it tastes like smores or chocolate. Best combination on a much sugar needed afternoon = medium iced latte + smores cookie. If you go there regularly enough, download the Gregory’s app — you get $ 5 credit for every $ 50 you spend. And trust me it’s not that hard to spend $ 50 there.

Good coffee. This place gets extremely busy, all day. I actually like their coffee more than Starbucks up the street. Right now I’m staring at a large crowd of suited bankers. You know the coffee is good when Wall Street lines up to get a cup of java lol. Also, try the gluten free chez mix treat. It’s like a rice crispy but maid with chex. Fast, friendly customer service.

We just needed coffee and soy latte since we stayed up late last night and ate & drank a lot. He still likes Starbucks dark roast coffee though this brand tastes good enough. Sadly I must abstain from caffein so I ordered decaf soy latte. They don’t have decaf drip coffee on weekends instead they use decaf espresso. They offered me Americano decaf espresso soy latte. Taste? Maybe fine for me. Believe it or not, they advertise their delicious pastries baked by their chefs every morning. Compare with Starbucks pastries, they’re much bigger and voluminous! Too huge to have as snack for us. Over all, pretty good coffee, yummy sweets, good internet, and comfortable seats. Why I vote only 3 stars is … I’m not sure, just not very impressive for us. Maybe we’ll try at a different branch.

While in NYC I stayed right down the street from this coffee shop. I also frequented blue bottle, which in my opinion has far superior coffee and isn’t that far of a walk. The zucchini carrot raisin bread is delicious though. The ambiance is also quite nice, spacious and modern looking. The vibe is much more relaxed than blue bottle and you can stay for awhile.

Gregory’s!!! Love this place. Highly recommend their dirty chai and morning boost shake. Their pastries are Hit or miss — stick with the cookies and brownies, avoid everything else.

Not a bad place. I stayed next door for the last few days and I found myself back at this coffee shop quite a bit. I can’t eat wheat so I really enjoyed the GF Rice chex square. It was very good. I swear I ate like four of them over the weekend. I also ordered the Hot Chocolate with whipped cream and I was quite whelmed with the cream. It seems to be house-made but it was very good. The only weird thing is that I asked about their chai beverage but the guy behind the counter couldn’t really tell me whether it was sweet or spicy.

Great coffee and a pretty chilled vibe. Although this place is a coffee chain, it has that«mom and pop» vibe. The espresso was very well made! It’s very similar to Starbucks, but definitely the better option in terms of store traffic. You’re more inclined to find a seat here than a bustling Starbucks. Try it!

I’ve tried Gregory’s a few times and I still don’t understand the hype. It’s just another starbucks with hipster glasses slaped on the logo. The coffee tastes the same and the smoothies and baked goods are loaded with unnessecary sugar. While I don’t wait as long for my order or have to argue for soy milk, Gregory’s still doesn’t impress me.
