Not good. sauce tastes like it’s out of can… dough has no flavor… and there were black burn marks on the bottom of the slices like the oven hadn’t been cleaned in a while… I’ve been back downtown now for almost 3 years… there is no really good pizza anywhere. .wish I had $$$ could make a fortune making a decent slice that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg…

Typical NYC pizzeria. That said, their pizzas are ranked up there with the best. The daily specials are not bad either.

garlic knots were $ 1.75, dry and luke warm at best. Did come with marinara sauce which was nice. Pizza was ‘ok’. Seemed like they catered to tourist. Shame this is what they come expecting real NY style pizza. Shame, shame…

I was in NYC for a business trip, and I had a hankering for pizza. Upon returning to my hotel I googled«pizza near me», and two places came up. Both had 4-star reviews, and this one was closer and cheaper so it won out. I got there, and the setup was a lot like Pizza Pizza back home. I ordered a slice of chicken and stuff pizza and had a bottle of soda for $ 6 I think. The pizza was better than Pizza Pizza, with a thinner crust and more flavour. While eating the one employee came over and asked me the pizza was. I told the truth that I was enjoying it. I’ll definitely repear if I’m back in NYC.

Stopped in here at noon after scouting out the entire area for Italian Stromboli. At 4.95 for a personal serving, aka two large pieces, we were happy campers. All of the pizza looked enticing and soon after us the line extended the length of the restaurant, which is a good sign. We were given our Stromboli piping hot with lots of dipping marinara and were pleased to find it tasted even more amazing that it looked. There’s also a deal here for 2 slices and a soda for 4.95. I would definitely go back here(I was just working in NYC for the week) and have confirmation that my counterpart will be bringing his friends.

Food is good only because the daily specials are pretty decent. The pizza is very expensive and doesn’t taste good enough to justify it. The wings are pretty good and the sandwiches are the best thing they’ve got going. The pastas are ‘meh’ and everything else isn’t worth trying. Even though the sandwiches are good, the worst part of this place is the staff. Not the regular workers, they’re normal, I’m talking about management. This one manager(Hispanic male mid-30s) is like the worst human being. I’m a regular there and I’ve seen him argue with about a half dozen customers on a weekly basis. Guy is incredibly difficult and lacks any semblance of decency. Someone like that should not be in a position where you are a lead for customer service Other than that, it’s just ok. 1 star

Great service! Decent pizza. Can’t go wrong. I asked for a slice from my pie to have no sauce if possible. The pie showed up with 2 white tables(to prevent the box from touch month the pie) and 1 of them on top of 1 slice says no sauce!(My daughter is allergic to tomatoes) Thanks for that!

I eat here all the time for lunch. It’s $ 5.50 for 2 cheese slices and a drink. Pizza is good. Only reason I’m giving it 5 stars is because for a topping on 1 slice its $ 1.75 extra, which is just too much for 1 topping on 1 slice. A topping on a whole pizza is just $ 3.00. I’ve had the meatball and chicken parm heroes before too and those were both good food for good prices. Only reason I’m dropping it from 5 stars to 4 stars is because of the price for a single topping on a single slice of pizza, and also because Last time I ordered 2 Sicilian pies the crust was just too doughy for my liking. The regular round pizza though… that’s definitely 5 stars for me as far as quality goes.

I had a craving. A craving for a nice, thin, slice of NY cheese pizza. Every time I’d ask for a recommendation from someone, I’d end up at some wannabe spot that was serving up some sort of fancied-up pizza. I wanted crust, sauce, cheese. that’s it. I got it here. Two slices of cheese pizza and a small drink for $ 5.50. Perfection. craving crushed. The slices were just what I was looking for. Of note. I did stop in again and got a spinach and black olive slice, not as satisfying as the plain cheese, but it was okay. Still, under $ 10 for a cheese slice, 2 topping slice, large drink, and a bottle of water. Lastly, staffers both times I came in were extremely nice. Very, very, nice dudes. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

I’m a sucker for great food at cheap prices. The FiDi area of Manhattan is pricey but with Georgio’s you can’t go wrong. $ 6-$ 7 lunch specials which includes big portions of food and a drink. How could you complain? The food is ALWAYS good and everyone appreciates that type of consistency. Georgio’s hasn’t failed me yet… well they failed to have calamari today but I won’t hold that against them for now.

Randomly found as we were walking by. Got a quick bite. Pretty decent food and good prices. We ordered the chicken parm sandwich(yummy), burger(good a bit small thou) lol. And two Sicilian slices, very good. All in all pretty good food at a good price

Ordered a veal parm with pasta and half the veal looks uncooked… I think I want to gag just looking at it. This is definitely not okay… WTF?

Really honest people, and very kind. They could have easily gotten more money out of me but the cashier was honest and upstanding. Aside from that the food was delicious. Would definitely come here again!

Georgio’s is so good to me. I think they use warp speed to do their deliveries, because I can’t remember ever waiting more than 20 – 25 minutes. And the portions are so generous. If I get an order of garlic knots(THEBEST), a slice of «Chicago-style pizza»(haven’t been to/had Chicago pizza, so can’t attest to authenticity), and a pasta dish, I have enough for lunch, dinner AND tomorrow’s lunch… all for under $ 15, before tip. And I’m not an easy eater to fill. To top it all off, everything tastes good. Their penne alla vodka is nearly perfect. If only they had cans of Diet Pepsi instead of Coke, we could be lunch soulmates.

Very disappointed with today’s lunch :(I’ve ordered from here before and was WOWed each time but today I couldn’t even finish my lunch. I ended up tossing it away after a few bites. I ordered a chicken parm with spagetti dish that LOOKED amazing when I got it but the chicken was just terrible. I feel like I got more breaded crunch than actual chicken, I kept looking to see if I had accidentally ordered the veal but I guess something just went wrong today. Don’t think I’ll be ordering this same dish again, but would give this place another shot a while from now.

This is my favorite lunch spot in all of Manhattan. I used to work near this place and come every lunch. My go to orders were grilled chicken wrap with honey mustard sauce, chicken fingers, grilled chicken salad, lasagna, pasta with sausage, pasta with vodka sauce and chicken cutlet. EVERYTHING is so good. I have not had one thing I didn’t like. The pizza is good too but my favorite foods are the entrees. I have yet to find a grilled chicken wrap as good as this place in all of the city. I currently work in hell’s kitchen and commute all the way downtown some days to get this lunch again. If anyone writes a negative comment about the food I really wonder where you are eating because I have now worked in midtown east, upper east side and hell’s kitchen and have yet to find a place as good.

Excellent chicken wings and mozzarella sticks in the Financial District. The portions are extremely filling. Fairy decent prices and good services. One of the best and quickest place in FIDI in respect to delivery. Please visit if in the area.

Pizza… Good, nothing exceptional but edible. Their wings however are gross, I ate the first one and all I chewed was oil, I decided to give another wing a try and same thing happened. Besides, talk about greedy owner who deliberately decided to charge an extra dollar for a refill… Seems greedy to me

Good pizza in the Financial District. What did you expect for a place that caters mostly to the lunch crowd? The best slice to get here is the margarita. Hands down, it is light enough and well balanced in flavors. Everything else — other than their calzones — is just average. If are in need for a slice at work, come here. Stick with the margarita and come early, and you will be satisfied enough.
