It should be noted that the«free smoothie» for checking in requires a $ 10 purchase. I got the kale smoothie, it was good. $ 6.50 for a small.

This place wasn’t terrible but not a place id visit again I don’t think. Everything is super bland. Maybe that’s why it’s healthy? I don’t we just weren’t feeling it. We had two smoothies the banana peanut butter one and the Piña colada. Both were just bland. For food we ordered whole wheat pancakes with egg whites and the Blt chicken wrap. Pancakes and eggs were not good at all. No flavor. I know this dish is pretty simple as it is but we make it at home and it’s way better. The wrap was alright, it wasn’t as bad. Over all just not my cup of tea.

I absolutely despise this place. If you order off seamless good luck receiving your order in under two hours. And if you do, there’s over a 50% probability that it will not be your food. Example: I ordered food at 6:50pm tonight. Said 45 minute wait. 1 hour later I call and I’m told it’s «on its way» obviously that’s the bs go to answer. 1.5 hours I call. They find out the order went to the wrong person and that I’ll have mine in «ten minutes». Here we are 45 minutes later and the restaurant is closed. I was charged for food that I never ended up receiving. Never. Ever. Ordering. Here. Again. You shouldn’t either. Let’s let this location go out of business.

Came here in pursuit of a healthy food bar in Hell’s Kitchen Ordered the Cuban wrap which claims to have avocado and chili sauce in it. I speak no lies when I say this may very well be the most bland wrap I have tasted to date. No chill or any sauce for that matter. Dried out brown rice and chicken which tastes like it was cooked yesterday. As for the avo, I may have got half a piece inside the wrap All this for $ 10, which could be spent elsewhere on something far more delicious. Waste of time, money and a meal, in this city that has so many better alternatives to offer

Been here a couple times and not a huge fan, mainly because all the food items can be easily made at home. But for someone who doesn’t cook, this place might as well take your money. The juices here are good. Fairly priced I might even add. But there’s a lot of delis that make juices on 9th Ave… Super protein plate with bison, chicken, tomatoes, onions etc. Flavor was good but for $ 13, I expected a larger portion and maybe something. prettier looking. The salmon with a choice of 2 sides(sweet potato and hummus) was awful though. Salmon was thin and overcooked. Sweet potato was good. Hummus needed a lot more flavor. it was probably one of the worst hummus I’ve had. If you’re into working out, count your macros, and don’t cook — I think you might like this place. Otherwise, skip to the next restaurant on 9th Ave and avoid some disappointment.

I go to gym in same street and my first visit was by recommendation by my personal trainer. I loved it. I am new to non-veg and the portion of chicken salad was so much that i had half and kept half for dinner. next day i had protein shake. I have made myself but it has never come out so well. working in same area this place will be one of my regular. An advise if you could increase the vegetarian options as i found only two.

My friend and I ordered $ 40 worth of food for breakfast and waited on delivery which took over an hour and forty five minutes… 1) protein pancakes were a bit bland but not bad! Not enough strawberries or bananas though 2) egg white scramble– bland as well, and my friend was upset there was no ketchup. 3) I loved my acai smoothie which was refreshing 4) the ginger carrot juice was good too but my friend was not a fan haha 5) the fruit cup(large) I was I different– just a bunch of cantaloupes and honeydews. majority of the poor ratings goes to the delivery. Maybe it’s not fuel’s fault but waiting that long for breakfast is a nightmare.

consistently amazing food that’s extremely healthy! the portions are rather large and everything is made fresh, so sometimes it takes a while to get your food but that’s totally fine because when you get it, it’s going to be fresh and hot. i ordered the air baked seasoned fries($ 4) and a small peach pineapple smoothie($ 4) — the fries are somewhat spicy(i didn’t think so, but others seem to think so) but came in a huge container and you got a lot. the smoothie was nice and filling itself, very fresh and very tasty!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Some people in my office including myself order from here a couple times a week. Last week, we found COCKROACH cooked into one of the meals. After eating about 1⁄3 of the meal, the roach was found, dead, limbs up, cooked into the sauce and the meal, and just staring at us. It was absolutely foul and so incredibly disgusting that they allowed this happen. After we called the complain, they could not have been more nonchalant about the issue, as if it wasn’t a big deal we just found a massive cockroach in the food. The woman who answered told us to send her a picture of it, which we did, and she never responded. If this was found in the food and served to us, imagine all the things that go on in the kitchen that we can’t see. We are never ordering from this place EVER again. Please look at the(current) last photo on the Unilocal page if you want to be extremely grossed out.

I was being strongly suggested by my colleague to get the smoothie here, so decided to follow today. As a big fan of kale and almond milk, I went directly to cupuacu smoothie, amazing! I wish I had ordered a larger portion! Probably the weird green color was the only drawback… highly recommend! The chipotle salad, on the other hand, was plain and flavorless and I really hope they at least have some basic sauce on top of it besides the spicy sauce on and only on chicken. Apparently its name well explained its comparative advantage.

I love juice bars, hate their inflated prices. You see, juice is the new wine – the artisan, gourmet, organic, and other-marketing-buzzwords beverage du jour that promises great health, long life and all the rest of the American dream. Anyone who’s anyone(who usually shops at Lululemon) can be found juicing at any time of the month because, dammit, it’s, like, fruit and kale and shit. That stuff is GOOD for you! But I digress. Fuel is actually a not-so-bad presence on this strip of 9th Ave, especially when you’ve got $ 4.50 burning a whole in your pocket and a massive need to down multivitamins in one easy installment. The Hanogver Killer hits the sour and sweet spot, while the Iron Horse will have health nuts foaming. However, in a city with endless juice bars, nothing really wowed me for the price, so I’ll probably skip this unless I am massively hungover and need to stop making my head scream.

This is for their new location on 45th between 3rd and Lex in midtown. Had the buffalo wrap. Very tasty. Interesting menu too. There’s a chain like this in NJ by me called«Muscle Maker Grill» trying to pump out the same health-themed wraps, salads and plates but I think Fuel is better! Place was empty during lunch hour. Why?! I think their signage is bad — you don’t see the place until you’re actually just stumbling upon their storefront. Guys — better signage may result in more sales. I dunno, give it a shot ’cause this strip of shops on 45th has the unfortunate reputation of «here today, gone tomorrow» — places don’t stick around for very long. There are a couple of exceptions but mostly an alarming rate of turnover(rent too high?). Hey, the weather’s finally getting better so maybe have someone stand outside with samples. Something to get business crankin’. Will be back to try some of your other healthy lunch alternatives. Nearby Unilocalers: Give ‘em a try. Good luck!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would, because I never got my food. I called at 1:32pm today, was put on hold for 4 minutes, then hung up to try again. I called at 1:36pm, had placed my order and was excited about getting some good food and smoothies. I called at 2:25pm to check on the order, and the manager said the delivery guy was out and I should receive my order in 5 – 10 minutes tops. I called at 2:52pm and asked about my order. I waited on hold for 5 minutes as they tried to get in touch with the delivery guy. The manager said it has been a busy day and the delivery guy should be there in 10 minutes. I asked the manager if there is anything he can do, since it would ultimately be about 1.5 hours since I had ordered my food. The manager only gave me the excuse that it’s been a busy day. He did not apologize or say that he could do anything for me. I said out of principle, I would cancel my order. He said fine and hung up on me. I live on 9th ave &53rd, while the restaurant is located at 9th ave btwn 47&48th st. Clearly I live very close by and I still think he should have apologized and/or given me some sort of discount. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend against supporting this horrible restaurant and manager.

I ordered delivery from Fuel Grill & Juice Bar. While I loved the service(food delivered right on time, every food item labeled, etc.), the food itself did not deliver. I went for breakfast for lunch and got the Protein Pancake Combo(six egg whites with whole wheat protein pancakes). Bad mistake! The pancakes were extremely DRY and flavorless… I guess that’s what you get for«healthy» pancakes. It was also served without any syrup. The egg whites were nothing good or bad. You really can’t go wrong with them. I loved the air-baked sweet fries. It was pretty cold by the time I got them, but I can’t complain since it was delivery. The fries would taste so much better if they were served right at the restaurant. I have also gotten the Fresh Salmon Fish plate with sweet potato and sauteed spinach. Loved the spinach, but the salmon was WAY overcooked(it was hard…) and the sweet potato was WAY undercooked(it was hard, too…)

Hey BRAH! I found another good spot to get in some excellent BRO-TEIN when trying to eat clean and healthy! When you are pumping the iron your GUNS need PROTEIN to rebuild massive muscle BRO! Mammoth amounts of PROTEIN, wrapped in PROTEIN, and then even more PROTEIN. Dude, it’s all about the BRO-TEIN!!! Hellz yeah! I am so stoked to have stumbled upon this Fuel location recently after a night hanging out in the Hells Kitchen area. After some bar hopping and debauchery I needed a fix of BRO-TEIN to replentish my depleted massiveness BRAH! FUEL is a tiny little place with a few tables to sit at but they pack a pretty large menu of low-fat, low-carb, healthy, and vegan choices to choose from. Wraps, Salads, Energy Plates, Low-Carb Energy Plates, Smoothies, Shakes, Fresh Squeezed Juices, Sandwiches, Salads with lite/fat-free dressing, Low-Carb/High Fiber, and All Day Breakfast! There are so many ways to get in your BRO-TEIN! Dude — they even had a lage flat sceen showing It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas when I feasted here. That BRO is still the man! He needs to lift though and lay the smack down on Lucy. Just Sayin’. I had the BRO-TEIN filled Grilled Chicken Breast with Sauteed Spinach and Low Fat Mozzerella in a whole wheat pita. Fries are this BRO’s downfall but order it as a deluxe and it comes with air baked seasoned fries and a bottle of water. HEALTHYBRAH! Good stuff and tasted great. I felt my muscles sucking it in and with each bite the BRO-TEIN was fueling my enormousness! Nice staff here. The place is clean and bright. Accepts credit cards. This BRO likes that when eating his BRO-TEIN. Don’t be scared to show off those SWEETGUNS and RIPPEDABS at the beach this summer BRO! Be huge BRO! Just eat here to FUEL up your body with healthy eats, and BRO-TEIN!

Open at 7am and SUPER delicious juices. I popped in one rainy morning for a healthy breakfast and was greeted by… silence.(Uhh…hello? No one? Not even chipper pop jams for 8am?) A young man moseyed up to the counter and seemed as unenthusiastic to be there as I was about the downpour outside. I placed an order for an Asthma juice(that’s carrot, celery, and grapefruit). A small runs at $ 7(not bad at all for NYC) and the juice was absolutely delicious! Slurped up and gone in a flash. Four stars for cleanliness, ease to locate, price, and«yum» factor(minus one star for unenthusiastic service). Would certainly visit Fuel again for another deliiiicious juice — hopefully it’s a bit more of a cheerful place on that occasion.

Convenient and healthy. One star off because they messed up my order a bit sending a sweet potato instead of fries. The tilapia was well priced and the steamed veggies were clearly not frozen. Not sure how«healthy» the brownie is, but if you like Caley brownies it is tasty!

If you’re staying near Times Square and want something To Go but healthier than the street food trucks, Fuel is perfect — on the corner of 47th and 9th Ave. WRAPS: Big, whole wheat tortilla, lots of meat, fresh, yum. Yes yes yes. FRIES: You can order them as a side 3 different ways! They come in this big Popcorn-like cup. And they are super delicious. SMOOTHIES: I ordered a Small and it was HUGE. It did taste very healthy though. do not expect a Jamba Juice. Good for people who are watching calories/sugar intake, bad for people who are looking for a sweet treat. Bookmark for next NYC trip.

Was feeling something healthy for dinner but I guess Fuel is a bit too healthy for me. Tried a chicken ceasar salad wrap and yes while healthy it lacked flavor. The wrap is wheat and gluten free i think? It definitely tasted that way — pretty dry and flaky. The chicken was also pretty dry. The ceasar dressing was ok — definitely a lighter version and not nearly enough in the wrap. The side salad had an odd bitter dressing on top. My boyfriend got the italiano supremo which he enjoyed but the chicken was the same dry cubed chicken and the wrap texture I just can’t get used to. I didn’t feel his wrap tasted much like anything either. The highlight though are the smoothies and juices — tried the caribbean storm and it was delicious. Fruits were definitely fresh and you could even taste the coconut shavings in the smoothie. Very decently priced for the quality of ingredients — $ 5 – 7 for a s, m, l. Will definitely be back for a fresh smoothie or juice. Overall I feel it’s really a place for gym enthusiasts who are looking for healthy protein and don’t mind the lack of taste. Wraps make up most of the menu but there are some other options for salads, sandwiches, and soups. Most items are around ~$ 9 – 10. The employees there are also nice and friendly.
