Sometimes you just need a quick breakfast or lunch during work, and don’t have the time for a nice sit down restaurant. Getting off the F train at 23rd street, I walked past Four Seasons at least 100 times before ever considering, «hey– maybe I should try this place.» Totally hit the spot for my morning coffee and egg and cheese sandwich. Clean interior, fair prices, fresh food, great coffee. My 4 pillars for judging an NYC deli. Obviously not the place to schedule a business luncheon with a client, but definitely does the job for some takeout.

Horrible service. The girls in the front working w the register are not friendly and lack in communication skills. Please hire new staff with positive and good customer service skills… oh and please get your prices right, match them with your specials. There’s a special that says you get a sandwich witha coffee for $ 5.95, which I confirmed with the employee about about 2 times, as I’m placing my coffee order, the cashier tells me I need to pay an extra dollar … now that is complete opposite from what the other employeed Stated, as well as your breakfast special. If your price don’t match the specials, why have them up for show? REORGANIZE please!

I bought an iced coffee here yesterday. It cost $ 2.25 and it tasted fine. On my way out of this establishment, I noted this sexist sign advertising their bubble tea. Above a painting of a comic strip style woman, it said, «I don’t mind living in a man’s world, as long as I can have bubble tea in it.» I don’t know who thought that was a good idea.

So the guys that make the sandwiches are great. However it’s the cashier up front that causes inconvenience. One cashier rang me in and started to get me a coffee then handed to another cashier to finish making while I’m standing there awkwardly with my credit card out waiting to pay. She then rings someone else in and doesn’t say a word to me about the cashier change. I felt really awkward and like I didn’t matter as a customer being tossed around like that. SHEDIDN’T EVENPUT A STRAWINMYBAG! I HADTOREACHOVERANOTHERCUSTOMERTOGRABONE!!! Not only was I belittled I was also made angry.

I have been coming here for little over two months now. lace is located a few doors down from Touro College. It has everything you need. Yogurt, energy bars, soft drinks, salad bar, pasta, paniniis. You heard right, it has everything. Im mostly judging and reviewing this place on the content of the sale bar here, as I don’t really try anything else. There is a guy behind the counter of the salad bar and you have your choice of a medium or large salad. Only a dollar difference. 1 meat and 5 toppings are allowed in a plastic bowl. My recent concoction was a romaine and spinach mixed greens. With mushroom, corn, avocado, egg whites, cherry tomatoes, almonds and grilled chicken. Light ranch on the dressing. Oh and ask them to chop it up for you, it totally tastes better that way. Not bad for an express lunch break of usually 20 minutes that I get. If ever in need of a healthy protein rich salad, stop by. I think you will enjoy it. Total — $ 6.45 — medium salad $ 7.45 — large salad

It’s a convenience store. It’s a café. It’s a gelato shop. Oh my! There’s a lot going on here, but the only thing I went on with was the gelato. With a scoop of hazelnut, and a scoop of chocolate, it made my night. Doesn’t hold a candle to Grom, but I wasn’t NEAR a Grom, WAS I?

There’s no more Blimpie– this Unilocal listing is a bit outdated. Four Seasons Café is still here and I come here quite often either for my breakfast sandwiches or for a quick korean lunch fix. I’m pretty impressed with the Korean options– it’s a little cheaper than K-town prices(not counting Woorijip) and tastes pretty authentic. I’ve tried the Kalbi Tang and it comes in a huge bowl with a thing of rice and kimchi. The Spicy pork is really good and there’s also some rice cakes hidden in that mix as well. No need to trek out to K-town– just stop by here for your Korean fix.

Came here almost every morning on my way to work. Not exactly a clean and feel good place, but you get a good iced coffee for 99 ct and a very good BLT for about 4 bucks. I think for midtown standards this is pretty good value for money right there. For some reason they also sell German candy like Kinder, Hanuta or Duplo which is kind of random, but definately a big plus. The employees are all Hispanic, so you might have a little hard time to make them understand what you want and vice versa, but the lady at the counter is very friendly and patient, so that’s not the problem. People always complain why sandwiches take so long. Well, you need to go to the cook first and don’t order your sandwich at the counter, just like in every other Deli you’re going to. I never waited longer than 5 minutes…

It’s interesting to me that it’s hard to find a place near Madison Square Park that offers omelets in the morning. I found this place after finding out another place I went to closed. This is a no-frills place with one guy(at least when I was there) at the cooking station. He got my omelet order right, which was great but didn’t include the bacon with my order. It was probably due to him rushing to get my order done. This is basically a place to get a decent breakfast(that doesn’t include some baked goods) quickly.

After about 1 year of not going there, I went to get a cup of coffee because all the nearby places were closed on a recent Sunday morning. There were two people working behind the counter. The man was very rude when I placed my order, and the female cashier was wearing a T shirt that said«Our philosophy: the customer is an a__hole.»(Her shirt had the word fully spelled out, so there could be no mistake.) What kind of cashier wears a shirt like that to work?

This retail space is shared with Blimpe and Four Season’s Café. I can’t believe Blimpie sandwich is still around as it reminds me of my undergraduate days for lunch. I came to this café for a simple bagel with butter prior to an appointment nearby. Service is MEH as price was happily below $ 5.00. Setting and capabilities suits more of a deli rather than a café.

Ran in here one morning for a cup of coffee & a quick breakfast on my way to an interview. I ordered a ROLLWITHBUTTERLIGHTLYTOASTED&COFFEE. I was given a BAGELWITHBUTTER that was GRILLED?(ITHADTOASTEDSTREAKSRUNNINGTHROUGHIT) Yeah it wasn’t tasty. It was chewy & blah. Thankfully the coffee didn’t suck. Customer Service needs improvement. Probably wont be back anytime soon.

Blimpie loses a star here because the location is kind of dumpy but those sandwiches are great! They’re much more sumptuous than Subway(a Blimpie 6 inch is as satisfying as a Subway footlong) and much more delicious than Quiznos. Combine that with great prices and I’ve become a regular there.
