I’ve always wanted to try this place since last summer but their grade B in health inspection stopped me. When I read that it received an A grade, I decided to come here for lunch. All the tables were occupied when my daughter and I got here. As soon as one freed up, we took it. Daughter ordered the Avocado Kimbob and loved it. She thought it was delicious. I ordered the Wild Mushroom Dup Bob and it was tasty and delicious! There were many different types of mushrooms. Upon first glance, this place is a hole in the wall. But, these places usually pump out great food! The only drawback for me was that my daughter found an expired Cherry Pepsi in the fridge that expired 5÷2÷16. That was over a month ago! We out it back and got the next bottle, which expires in July. Much better! Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

A gem so wonderful and hidden it almost makes me loathe to share. Delicious and quick with impeccable service and menu so diverse you could eat here every day of the week and never get bored. Love it!

Their soups and kimchi are fantastic — I love this place and go often on the way home from work. It’s not close to me, but it’s on the way, and it’s delicious.

YUCK. Worst bacon, egg, and cheese. They cook a pile of bacon early in the morning and just throw cold bacon on your sandwich. Fake NYC deli.

We’ve ordered from KoFoo via Seamless before and have enjoyed both the bulgogi and Duk Mandu Guk immensely; however, after receiving our order today I’ll never be ordering from them again. After digging in I discovered a soggy, dirty paper towel in the soup! Spoke to someone at KoFoo who agreed to refund one soup even though we ordered two! Unless every order of soup is individually prepared they’re pulling the base from the same pot. Clearly this didn’t resonate with the staff.

I got the ddukbokki(spicy rice cakes with fish cake slices, veggies(mostly cabbage and kimchi remnants), and a boiled egg), and while it was well portioned for a $ 8.71 meal(also comes with a small dish of kimchi), it didn’t taste that flavorful. Maybe I’m just used to ddukbokki tasting spicier and sweeter(?) elsewhere. I ended up getting tired of eating it after a few bites. But, I’ll definitely be back to try the other menu items when in Chelsea. The kimbap looks really good! And everything is about $ 8.50 on the menu– so pretty average for lunch in the city. I came in around 1:30pm, which I thought would be prime lunch hour, but it wasn’t too busy and there was constantly a table or two available for sit down(they have about seven mini-tables with two chairs each). Also, the ladies working the counter seemed genuinely friendly. The cashier kept trying to sell me on other items, but not in a sleazy or off-putting manner. I politely declined and she continued to give me amicable smiles. No attitude problems here!

I think I love this place and I can’t believe it took me so long to get here. The food is pretty cheap, prepared very quickly, and is quite tasty. They have a great selection of vegetarian and vegan items, including soup, which is hard to come by(many places make vegetable soups in beef or fish broth. I went with the vegetable noodle soup with tofu, which was fantastic. I will absolutely be back to try the other soups and dumplings.

Little hidden gem in the busy and obnoxious flatiron area for some AMAZING Korean during lunch time. I’ve had the bulgogi bibimbap bowl many times(Yum) along with squid and veggies bowl and some other stuff I can’t even recall. Everything was always delicious. My favorite is the Bulgpgi Kimbap(Gimbab) roll(beef w kimchi). It’s fresh and just outstanding. I always get it with brown rice and extra kimchi and it’s like not even $ 9 with the additional trimmings. They seem like a regular deli with an array to select from: salads to sandwiches to paninis and soups and all that other boring deli food during rush hour lunch time madness. BUT the Korean selection towards the back of the place is on point. Always fresh and always busy with people eagerly waiting particularly for the Korean dishes but they are still pretty quick even during the busiest time of the day — lunch time in that area. My only reason for 4 starts is because the Korean station isn’t the prominent display as you walk in. Love this place — go out of my way to get lunch there at least once a week.

KoFoo is a Korean fast food located in Chelsea. I have only ordered here via Seamless, and as most people have mentioned, they have horrible delivery service. Additionally, the food that I waited for an hour to be delivered did not taste good. I put in my order at 11:30AM — early on purpose to avoid lunch rush — but it didn’t matter because the food wasn’t delivered until 12:40PM. They estimated 30 minutes in the email… I ordered the S2: Duk Man Doo Gook($ 8) with Seafood(+$ 2) and E3: Bulgogi Bob($ 9.50) with mushroom(+$ 1) and rice cake(+$ 1). The portion for the Duk Man Doo Gook was comparable to that at other Korean restaurants, but I didn’t like that they charged $ 2 extra for seafood. The seafood consisted of baby shrimp and squids… not worth $ 2. Also there was barely any duk(rice cake) in the soup. I liked the big dumplings though. The Bugogi Bob was a HUGE disappointment — do not ever order! The description says«thinly sliced LEAN beef.» Lean? More like Fat! The entire platter was ~50% fat. It was also drenched in oil and extremely greasy. Avoid!

I love bulgogi beef and it is quite good here. The place is hidden in the back of a generic NYC deli and seating isn’t that great but who cares… the food is yummy. Maybe avoid the dumplings, although tasty they seem to just give you the room temperature ones on display instead of giving you fresh steamed or right out of the fryer.

this place is dangerous because: 1. it’s across from my gym and i have a MONSTER appetite after a workout. 2. it’s comfort korean food. 3. it’s cheap. 4. it’s cheap. 5. it’s cheap. the bad: not much seating.

Questionable sanitation as I had a japchae for lunch and had to take the rest of the afternoon off to lie in bed. Service was not stellar either, orders came out of order and there wasn’t even a long line.

Service is atrocious. I always go back because food is decent — however, I always, ALWAYS regret it after due to their tendency to miss submitting random orders to the kitchen which leaves customers waiting while everyone else is served. And, they absolutely NEVER do anything about it — they give you an insincere apology or look at you blankly. Bad customer service. Decent food if you have the stomach for the frustration.

Great great place. It is a small place so to not experience that«I ordered online and food did not came in» situation, I would say to call them and order the food from the menu here. Great quality as a Korean food restaurant, BEST tuna roll(not spicy) and JaeYuk. Hanchi and kimchi ramen is awesome too. Great services, and the owner lady of this shop is really really kind. No need to go all the way up to 33 for Korean food, Enjoy!

This is a hidden no-frills Korean restaurant in the Flatiron area. The kimchi fried rice here is the BEST! They give you a big portion and it’s always delicious. Bulgogi bibimbap here is pretty good as well compared to other Korean restaurants. FYI — Orders do take awhile to make so be prepared to wait.

This was pretty decent Korean food, and the delivery was pretty quick(half an hour from hitting submit on seamless is speedy). I got the Kalbi Tang and the Bulgogi Kim bap. Both were pretty good. The one thing I liked was that the Kalbi Tand didn’t taste like an MSG overload. I would definitely order again! Probably really soon since it’s starting to get so cold outside!

i have been here a couple of times and its a decent lunch spot. Food times have increased as more people are finding out that this place is inside the Deli and lines are getting longer. Still one of the few spots where you can get a decent meal for under 10 bucks in the area. Last meals include bibimbap and bulgogi. the bulgogi was not as great as always, meat was a bit tuff and fatty. Will update the review once i try them again and see if they improved the meat cut.

Decent food at a decent price, it’s not a place to take someone on a date or anything. Overall if you need a quick bite to eat this is your place if you’re in the area.

This is a review for delivery. I ordered the Buddae Jiggae and the jalapeño kimbap. As much as I’d love to say that I put all that food down in one go, really I just had to order two dishes to meet the $ 15 minimum. Because I ball like that. The delivery was fast, my soup arrived bubbling hot, and my drink was cold. The kimbap was a little warm, but that’s to be expected after spending a short ride nestled up against that hot soup. Nothing 5 minutes in the fridge can’t fix. Did the meal blow my mind? No. But is it the best Korean takeout I’ve ever had in this area? Hell yes. And that’s a convenience I’m willing to celebrate.

Food is okay. The quality is inconsistent and they cut off the student discount deal before the year ended. Some of theirs food just sits around so they don’t have to make it when you order it

Great spot for a quick Korean food fix, authentic flavor and good kimchi. Nice location just steps to the 23rd street F so I can eat and hop on the train to go home. Very good after a long day of work — comfort food for me(as a Korean American)! Reasonably priced, food is out quick and I always get a seat!

Moved from their original 26 st location!!! Miss their original store much more. Now it’s behind a deli. A very different location to be at. I like the deli more than KooFoo unfortunately.

I’ve never been to the location but I order lunch for delivery over seamless around once a month. The prices are ok! The food tastes good(not great). They deliver in to a relative food desert! And their delivery is normally right on time. I’m not a fan of the pancakes. They’re tiny and very soft. Maybe if they vented the containers they pack them in for delivery.

Disclaimer– This is a review for their Seamless delivery. I have not stepped foot into Kofoo but recently discovered that they are one of the VERY few Korean restaurants that deliver through Seamless, Grubhub, and . And when I say ‘Korean’, I mean Kimchi jigae, Budae jigae, Bulgogi dup bap, and a handful of the more traditional Korean entrees that is very difficult to find in Manhattan, unless you drag your butt over to Ktown. The food isn’t OUTSTANDING, but it’s not bad either. The food quality is equivalent to that of Ktown’s Woorijib. I think I am just more excited about the fact that they deliver. I ordered their Bugade jigae, bulgogi and avocado kimbap, and ddukboki. Their budae jigae wasn’t slow-cooked long enough, so the soup base was a lot more sour than what I am used to. The avocado kimbap was just that, with daicon, carrots, and cucumber. It hit the spot, since I haven’t had Korean food in weeks and didn’t want to go through the trouble of making my own pot of kimchi stew, but it wasn’t necessarily good. But more likely than not, I will order from Kofoo again.

Seamless review only! Seamless wise, painless delivery, delivered within the advertised time(40 mins since I paid). They up their prices around 50cents compared to their menu so… its not the best but not the worst. I ordered the chewy noodle because its cold outside and only a weirdo like me would crave chewy cold noodles. I really really enjoyed this dish. Noodles were delightfully chewy and everything blended well. I would of liked a little more acidity/spiciness but overall a good dish Spicy tuna w/avacado kimbob… maybe 2 stars. the spicy tuna was more like… the dried fish with a little spice in it. Maybe its just their style but definitely not fresh at all, tasted like eating tuna from can or something. avacado was at least not brown. Would not really get again :/ Overall a solid 3 star addition for a quick fix delivery when you need it. Will defintiely try their other foods too
