They usually have pretty good pizza, They used to have way better pizza in the early years. But anyway, I ordered burgers from them and they do not use the regular hamburger buns. It was bread you can get next door at the grocery store, it also had a bunch of onions just not even sliced.(Like might as well give me the entire onion). The fries would always be up to satisfactory standard, though they would put a lot of salt on it for me. But the burger was pretty fulling. These guys are good for only one thing and that is PIZZA. Do not try their pasta dishes as you can already tell from other reviewers, I think they try to expand their menu. But it isn’t and hasn’t worked for them. Play it safe and order pizza. They also lose one more star because sometimes theres a guy on the phone who’s kind of a jerk.(Not you flaco or the hispanic employees)

they have really good deals. ordered two steak and cheese sandwiches, two cans of soda and fries as part of a meal deal. delivery came at a timely manner with food still hot and fresh… everything was great until i realized they didnt bring fries! i took off only one star because 1) i didnt call back, 2) the sandwiches were big, fresh and yummy that i didnt need fries, 3) the delivery guy was nice.

Had to be the worst Italian food ever. Cheap ass pasta with what appeared to be a watered down can of tomato sauce even a dollar store would be embarrassed to sale and the mozzarella cheese, of which there was hardly any, tasted like plastic.

This is not the flacos I remember. I don’t know what it is but something is off I have to agree with some of the other reviews but the pizza is really bland. The garlic knots barley taste like garlic, I think they used the powdered stuff.

DONTORDERFROMTHESEPEOPLE! Worst food I have ever eaten asked for specific meal instructions and they didn’t do anything $ 17 and the food was uneatable!!! The pasta was bland and tasted like it was from a bottle! The Nutella dessert was not good either!!! Don’t order from here don’t do it!

Food was not delivered as ordered. Pizza was put inside of bags and not a box. Food was not delivered in a thermal bag. I will not be ordering from here anymore. I will get my food from Tommy’s instead. I don’t know what’s going on over there.

I had anticipated my first meal of 2015 to be much more tasteful and memorable than this. Hungover or not, this was the most mediocre italian food I have ordered and barely consumed. I ordered a slice of vegetable pizza, baked ziti, and a side salad. The pizza was simply bread with sauce, uncooked and piled up vegetables sprinkled with unmelted cheese. The baked ziti was not baked… unless they got my order wrong and decided to give me penne pasta with marinara sauce. The side salad was certainly not a side and was the size of an entrée salad with an entire sliced onion, tomato, and large leaves of old lettuce.

this was a pretty disappointing experience. I think the only good thing about this order was that it came pretty fast. However that might be part of the reason that everything in the bag was freaking sideways! Now im trying to salvage my two pasta dishes that have all the sauce leaking into the bag and by the time i get them out most of the sauce is gone… i think to myself ok whatever im still gonna eat this but instantly regret it when both dishes turn out to be very disappointing. The alfredo was dry, bland and undercooked. The sauce they used for the ziti was the thinnest cheapest stuff ever. I always try to give place the benefit of the doubt so maybe ill give it another shot, but not anytime soon.

I’ve only had the pizza, but I have to say, as far as cheap pizza places go, this one is my favorite. Definitely better than the other ones in the neighborhood — Koronet, Pie Pie(99 cent pizza), Famiglia, and Como. Very consistent quality. Not as good as Antika, but with my financial situation, I can’t always spring for a $ 21 grandma pie.

Worst pasta Alfredo I’ve ever had, no flavor and runny, and I can’t believe they screwed up a beef party!

Great pizza! Extremely fast delivery! We ordered just a plain pizza and it was delicious! I’m looking forward to trying other items on their menu!

Ugh. My quest for decent pizza delivery in Washington Heights or Harlem or wherever it is I just moved to continues. Ordered delivery online, via whatever system Unilocal links you to, and I shouldn’t do that anymore. When the surly delivery guy arrived and handed me a pizza box and paper bag I asked where the garlic bread was. He just kind of glowered at me so I said again, «Garlic bread?» He muttered«it’s in there,» gesturing toward the bag. I was skeptical as I felt up the cold paper bag that really didn’t feel like it had garlic bread in it and when I looked inside after he was gone, nope, no garlic bread. So I called and after a few tries someone picked up who was probably THE Flaco. He said they’d send someone out with the garlic bread but then called me a few minutes later insisting I hadn’t ordered it. I was surprised because I was pretty certain that I had ordered it but since I guess these online receipts are going to some old email I no longer use, I don’t see them so had no record of my order. And the surly, monosyllabic delivery guy didn’t give me one either. But I know no one cares about my delivery issues and probably not the surly delivery guy either, so here’s what I thought of the pizza. In a word: Bland. In four words: Bland, bland, fucking bland. There was nary any flavor present in the crust, sauce or cheese. I have no idea why people think it tastes good. Really the most appropriate adjective that comes to mind is «edible.» And it was foolish of me to order mushrooms at an untested pizza place and I think they were canned. They were weird looking and of course didn’t possess any flavor either. The salad was ok. They put raw white onion and green peppers on it, which I picked off, but if you like those things, go for it. The dressing comes in a prepackaged rip-open packet. I lived in California for more than 20 years and heard endless laments from people missing New York pizza and how much better it was, how much the water made the crust better, the sauce was more flavorful, blah blah blah. But Flaco’s made me pine for Los Angeles pizza, which is pretty pitiful. Sorry, Flaco.

Agree with Alfredo with MEH! My meal came faster than expected and was warm. I ordered chicken parm. with spaghetti and garlic bread. My chicken parm. was fried, bite sized? pieces not a usual chicken breast. The sauce was really bland! My garlic bread had no garlic and was a dry piece of bread with too much oregano sprinkled across it. I will Not be ordering from here again! I don’t even think I am going to finish my dinner! I should have just ordered pizza.

Excellent pizza. The meatball heroes are good, but don’t understand why it takes them 15 minutes to make them everytime. Super friendly staff here too.

Meh. After reading the reviews I was excited about ordering from these guys. Well, tried to order by telephone on three different occasions and they did not have a delivery boy– a pizzeria that does not deliver is never a good sign. So today I had someone pick my food up. Took 15 minutes because they made my calzone from scratch, I was expecting it to be good, but boy was I disappointed. Not enough cheese and PLENTY of «sausage», but the«sausage» tasted like baloney! It wasn’t even sausage! I guess if you go here stick to the plain cheese pizza…

The best Pizza I’ve tasted in NYC. I’m not a fan of the sandwiches and pasta menu(only had ‘em once) but… the pizza makes up for anything else! Since they are close to home I always order from them instead of papa johns or dominos. Price for pizza??? meh(compared to the other pizzas)…it’s all right, I don’t mind paying for the large slice… after a while though, it does get a little expensive… They have a small section for you to sit but four ppl in there make it crowded so suggest you order for delivery or pick up. Best pizza though, I recommend!

«Best non-gentrified slice» I came to this pizza joint with tempered expectations. How good can a pizza place be in Washington Heights with a population that is mostly Dominican? To my surprise: Not bad. Not bad at all. The cheese is a pretty tasty cheese. It was a slice that wasn’t just sitting there all day. Hot right out of the oven even during 10pm on a weeknight! The bread was decent enough but I can’t complain given the sketchy area. Yeah, that’s right. Broad daylight you’re fine but at night I’m looking over both shoulders in this part of town. Not a comfort when you’re sitting at the limited stool seating with a security camera over your shoulder. The whole time I’m thinking I’m going to end up in a wrong place at the wrong time«Menace to Society» scenario where I get caught on camera enjoying the last slice of my life. But hey… other than that, this is one great slice. I would definitely stick my neck out again day or night for it.
