Great customer service, the guy serving is really cool and makes you feel like you’ve known him for years. The food is amazing for the price you pay, I’ve tried everything from here and still to this day have no regrets or complaints. The fried chicken is always made fresh and the whiting fish is nothing less than amazing.

Food is pretty average, customer service is crap.
I’m a foreigner visiting from the other side of the world, and these types of establishments are a bit new to me. We happened to be sitting in a position where we couldn’t see the rubbish bin, so we assumed it was behind the counter. We weren’t sure what to do (at home often you put any rubbish on the tray and they will take it away as they wipe the table down for next customers), and there were a few people up at the counter getting takeout. We loaded our rubbish on to our trays and walked out, it was about midnight.
But then the guy took the effort to come out from behind the counter, chase us down the street, aggressively yelling at us that we didn’t put our rubbish in the bin, and walked us back into the store to pick up our two trays and slide it in to the bin. I couldn’t believe it and I’d never experienced anything so rude here.
We hadn’t meant any offence, and we had been perfectly polite and friendly when ordering and eating. In fact, we’d gone up and ordered two meals and been in there for about 20 minutes.
Clearly won’t ever be stopping by there again. Owners need to get serious control over their employees attitude towards customers.

Their chicken smells old with a bad taste. The NYC food inspectors need to pay them a visit. Why when friends and I visit
Popeyes chicken on 601 W 172^nd St we never have a issue?

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS PLACE. The food is way over priced.
Two egg «platter» & a corn muffin $ 15.95.
The platter means nothing. I literally got two fried eggs in a test and a small muffin for over 15 $.

This place is absolutely terrible. Their delivery guys NEVER have exact change, and when you ask them to GO GET change they yell at you. This is a horrible, horrible place. And the food is hot garbage.

I wish I could give these guys four stars… Their Whiting Fish is the best I have eaten ANYWHERE, giving 3 or 4 stars to a fast food hole in the wall is unheard of for me, so the fish must be THAT good… BUT– They are seriously lacking in other ways.
To start with– their menus have one price, but they charge a higher price. When asked, they tell customers that they are old menus and the prices are no longer good.
Second– I just called to place an order and was told to «hold on». They put the telephone down and forgot me!!!
Anyway, if you want great whiting, this is the hole in the wall you want to buy it from. They also have pretty good sweet potato pies and their fried chicken is pretty good…

I went there with my friends. The bar is pretty nice and the food is not bad. The waitress was friendly and the quality of food is above average. The problem with this place for me is dishonesty. I paid with my credit card and I found that I was charged $ 10 more than the bill+tip. although $ 10 is not a big amount, I am very disappointed by their dishonesty. So if you want to go there, I suggest you to pay with cash.
