Oh my… Found a tasty, juicy burger along with scrumptious fries! I am glad that I finally tried this place. The place was sweltering since the air conditioning was barely working! Please keep up so that your customers will not have to sweat while eating! Good service and decent prices!

More like 3 and a half. What I love about 5 guys is the freebies. I wont deny it, if you give me stuff for free I’m happy. The fact that you get free toppings on your burger or hot dog(which I have never tried but my friend loves em) is a very good thing thank you very much Martha Stewart. I like to get my burger a double with cheese and top it with grilled onions, mushrooms, pickle and A1 sauce. The burgers are greasy but very tasty and meaty but Im not crazy about the bun which gets a bit doughy. The fries are good when scalding hot but get soggy very fast and could be a little crisper. They give you so much that they fall out in the bag, I suppose they think its a good thing but walking around with a grease stained bag is a tad embarrassing. I do like that they offer malt Vinegar for the fries. Very British. Cheerio. The place itself is very clean and the workers have been very nice every time I have gone in and I love snacking on free peanuts while I wait for my order.

Have you seen Daym Drop’s 5 guys review on Youtube?(Check my profile). Did you find it hilarious enough to slide to your local 5 guys joint? I did. 5 guys at Fulton is actually spankin’ clean. The cleansiness of the kitchen resembled that of a high class restaurant. The guys at the burger assembly were shouting orders, communicating, and cranking out burgers at such a speed that it made it fun to watch while waiting on line. They also have huge sacks of Idaho potatoes stacked up like war trenches, supposedly showing off the freshness and legitimacy of their potatoes.(Or in case war breaks out?) I got my little cheeseburger with onions and tomatoes + little fries. The little cheeseburger is about the circumference of a regular McD cheeseburger, but obviously much heavier with all the toppings and fillings. Patty was juicy, tasty. Burger itself was worth the 600 evil calories going inside you. Yeah. Inside you I said. The fry guy totally disrespected my order. I ordered a «little» french fry. He basically put a tiny cup into the plastic bag, and started *disgorging* the fries into the bag until the poor cup toppled(and he didn’t even stop) and the entire bottom of the bag was grease stained with 3 lbs of french fries. I was digging his style. I don’t know what a big order of french fries would look like. I don’t even want to know. Even though the fries were aplenty, I have to go with Melia and say they were a bit too soggy. When biting into the fries, the fries simply did not bite back. The salt was also not evenly distributed. That said, Fulton 5 guys gets a 4 stars for giving no damn to my little fries, fattening me for an extra 400 cals, and being one of the cleaner burger joints I’ve been to.

I could review the burgers back when I ate them, but I will base this review on my experience earlier this week. I went in for just fries. It took forever to get them. The fry guy was totally standing around waiting for the burger orders to come, made their fries, then finally got to mine. What a waste! The quality of the fries: well they are fresh cut, which is a plus. They are fried in peanut oil — makes them nice and golden. But they could totally cook a minute longer! The fries were a little soggy. I know fresh cut may not get as crispy as a frozen fry, but still! I order the cajun; the seasoning is no to salty and full of flavor. No need for ketchup.

Why are people complimenting BK/McD over this? Really? The burgers here are bit more expensive but the quality is definitely a step up. It is closer to Zaitzeff or The Fulton Bar burgers. Better fries portions and the people who work here are rather nice in comparison. I would recommend this place a bit less though if you dislike toppings. A burger with nothing on it is not as worth it as the toppings are free. I mean, where else can you buy a burger where grilled onions and mushrooms are –Free – ? I like the free peanuts also.

Had to update, because you can order online, and I’ve been doing so — LOVEIT! I’ve been getting bunless burgers with extra veggies from various places for YEARS — almost like a burger salad — and this is one of the few places that does it RIGHT, and doesn’t seem to think it’s strange(don’t even get me started on Wendy’s)… it’s also one of the best bunless burgers I can think of, and has therefore become one of my go-to work lunches(when I don’t bring my own)… still LOVE the jalapeños! I will say — there’s an issue with the online ordering — the system assigns a number to the order, as though it had been ordered in-store. The customer is never given this number, and(apparently) the employees don’t know that the customer isn’t given this number… it’s caused confusion a couple of times when trying to pick up.

«Sooo greasy but good,» as aptly described by my husband. The regular burgers come with TWO patties, so I always opt for the«mini» burgers with just one patty. I love how I can have as many of the fixings as I want for free! And the small fries can feed a hungry group of 4(the cajun spice is awesome). This location has quite a few tables. Being a fast food burger joint it has that greasy/dirty feel to the air and tables and chairs with pretty aggressive fluorescent lighting(this isn’t shake shack). But grab yourself some complimentary peanuts from the giant tubs and enjoy your stay!

WHATCAN I SAY? Five Guys serve up some mean burgers yo. They’re made fresh right in front of you and they taste freaking amazing. Down it with their cajun fries and a cup of root beer and you have yourself an awesome lunch/dinner. Ugh five guys, I will always love your burgers no matter where location I eat at. Your burgers are lovely.

One star for each Guy. This is one of the best of the slightly higher-end fast food type burger chains. The burgers are delicious of course, but the fries here are the best — and all you need is the small. Trust me, I like to eat way too much at every meal, and they hook you up with an insane amount of fries here — they put them in a bag which is completely overflowing the small fry container, so it ends up being a huge order of fries. And they’re nice and hot and addictive as fries should be. The best and most unique thing about Five Guys is of course the free peanuts. These are an awesome snack to eat while you wait, or for dessert if you scarf down your food way too fast like I do and are forced to wait for people eating at normal speeds to finish eating. Another plus of this location is that aside from a possible lunch time rush during the weekdays, it is always pretty empty compared to other ones since it is in the Financial District. This is an excellent option for a burger in the neighborhood, especially if you don’t feel like making the walk over to Battery Park City to deal with the lines at Shake Shack.

Burgers are always good at 5 guys!!! The one over on fulton street hasn’t disappointed either. I normally grab the bacon burger with all the toppings for that extra punch. It’s always a good punch though. The food is always prep’d quick and good. Never really tried anything else here because the burger is more then enough. Oh the peanuts are a good spin. For a fast food quick burger to go in the FiDi. This place is pretty much as good as it gets.

If you are free of peanut allergies, you can definitely appreciate 5 guys. There are wells of roasted peanuts free for you to munch on while you wait for you food! But before you order, here are a few things you should know: — when they say SMALL burger, they really mean REGULAR. A small burger is a single beef patty with a sesame seed bun. — Big Burger comes with two beef patties. — your toppings are unlimited! (I chose onions and mushrooms with cheese.) — the Large French Fry is bigger than the soda!!! — get the small fry– its actually a pretty hefty size! — beverages are self– serve which means unlimited soda! Overall, the burger was tasty but it wasnt something i would crave. I do have my burger preference and 5 guys, while very good, just doesnt do it for me. The staff was very nice here and the location was very clean. The wait for a burger was about 15 minutes with 3 people ahead of me… but thats what the peanuts are there for!

I ordered my cheeseburger, fries and soda at the counter. I get my cup so I can serve myself the soda and bestill my heart, I see mello yello soda. This was a great start. I then get my burger and it is one tasty meat between bread. There was two paddies of meat, cheese, green peppers AND they had A-1 sauce — score 2. My mouth dug into this tasty, cheesy, crumbly meat and it was really, really good. The fries were fresh potatoes with cajan pepper which added the right amount of spice. All I’m wondering now is why I took so long to try their burgers.

Two burgers, one regular drink, one regular fry = $ 22. Sure, I like Five Guys, but I am not going to give it an awesome rating for $ 22. My reasoning is that it is essentially fast food and it is forgettable like fast food. I want fast food to be fast but mostly I want fast food to be cheap. And Five Guys, my friends, is not. However, if you are very drunk and stumbling down the street and realize you are probably so drunk because you didn’t eat dinner… Five Guys will taste like the best food you have ever eaten. Ever. I speak from experience folks.

I love Five Guys! Whenever I see this place I’m reminded of Virginia and my family. Growing up, Five Guys was a go to spot for my dad and I. He loved the free peanuts and I loved everything else. I was so happy to see one here in Manhattan. Makes me feel all warm inside. The burgers are always juicy and piled high with as many toppings as you wish. The best part about it is that the toppings are free! You can get grilled onions, pickles, mushrooms, mayo, relish, tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, green peppers… etc…
I love their fries. If you order a regular(their smallest size), they will ALWAYS throw a whole bunch of extra fries in the brown bag it comes with. It’s more than enough for two people to share. This location is very clean, friendly, and has a sufficient amount of seating area. Great prices too. I remember having to take an exam at a testing center nearby. As soon as the test was over, I ran over to 5 guys and enjoyed a juicy cheeseburger. I was comforted. It’s familiar. It reminds me of home.

When I lived in Arlington VA, we went to Five Guys like it was a pilgrimage to Mecca. So you can imagine my pants-shitting jubilation when, just roaming the streets today, I happened upon a Five Guys MINUTES from my job! The burgers here are AWESOME.(double patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayonaise, ketchup and A-1 please… thanks) The fries come in a bag… literally, a lunch bag. I don’t care how hungry you are, never, EVER get a large. Its like a dufflebag of fries. For a small, they fill the cup, dump it into a bag, and then scoop more on top. Its an obnoxious amount of fries.(get the cajun.) Burgers are made as you order, but they only come well done. No need to worry, they are still flavorful and juicy! While you wait, snack on some peanuts or read the myriad positive Zagat reviews. I love this place. Its seriously the best«fast food» burger you can get.

Following another career empowerment workshop at my nearby Alma mater of Pace University, with a desire for something small but not a full dinner entrée as I was unsettled from enduring a long-haul exhaustive work day. I crossed paths with Five Guys which I have not encountered in the Downtown Financial District previously. I opt for the regular French Fries of small priced at $ 3.59, which were served freshly spawn hot off the gril. The cook is generous to add extra pieces to fill the brown paper bag beyond the cup of the content level. There are ample seating and opens late until 10pm for the late-night owl of Pace students cramming for exams or in dire need of filling their stomachs on a very limited budget. Service was somewhat efficient. This location is clean and contains bright lighting. However, unlike its other counterpart locations this 112 Fulton Street burger restaurant does not have the usual chalk board welcoming note or insightful message to clients: «Welcome to Five Guys! Today’s potatos are from(City, State).»

Delicious burger!!!(This is my first time in a Five Guys) The burger consists of two patties and cooked just right and not greasy. I had the burger with lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon; $ 7.89. Rate: 5⁄5 buns for taste and 3⁄5 buns for price. Regular Fried(16 oz. cup) $ 3.59; a little too salty and pricy! Rate: 3⁄5 buns for the fries Additional item– regular drink $ 2.19 Total bill w/tax: $ 14.88! Rate: 3⁄5 buns for a delicious but expensive lunch. BTW– the burger buns can be fresher and there are no regular table & chairs; it is mostly«stand & eat» high tables. Meh.

Delicious and fresh burgers! You can choose from how big the burger is. They come with double patties. We had the regular ones and it was huge!!! You can also pick the toppings u want on there from sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms, or jalapenos. It was fresh and juicy. I will definitely come back here to try other things. And their French fries looked really good
