I am ashamed to say, both my husband & I were scammed by these pushy sales people selling dreams in expensive bottles when we walked past their ‘trap’ on the way back to our hotel. We’d had a lovely dinner & a few drinks which left us feeling loose & carefree in New York prior to our entrapment which entirely explains how we let it the whole ordeal happen! This was totally out of character for us to fall into such a trap however we did & I hope one day soon I’ll be able to put it behind us! We felt sick the next day having spent a ridiculous amount of money on products we really didn’t need or want! The sales people are the pushiest, most highly skilled con artists we’ve ever encountered, I’m sorry we ever walked past this shop & will never do it again. Be careful, DONOT accept the free sample… NOTHING is free! How they sleep at night is beyond me, I would have rather stood on the street & given every last one of those $ 1500 U.S. Dollars away to the homeless & hungry… I’ve never felt so foolish in my life, every time I look at those expensive bottles of rubbish I feel sick… I think I’ll just toss the lot in the bin… do yourself a favour… avoid at all costs! If all I can do now is prevent someone else from falling into the same trap that we did, I will consider our experience not a total waste of time of money.

Very high pressure sales tactics. Grabbed me, pulled me into the store and started applying exfoliants and creams on my face – All while telling me how handsome I am and how well I was dressed. The price went from $ 400 to $ 200 to $ 120 in 30 seconds. The loud quick talking salesman along with the suddenly appearing sales screamed scam to me so I got away with just a «no thank you.» Sadly, about an hour later, the side of my face with the cream seemed heavier and hotter than the other. Beware!

This is a high pressure sales pitch business. My wife was sucked into their store with the promise of a free facial. That’s when they hit you up for 300 – 400 dollars worth of products. The sales lady on our visit would not take no for an answer. I had to demand her to return my wife’s debit card just before she ran a 300 dollar sale through. Unfortunately my wife is a very trusting sole and was easily taken advantage of by these unethical merchants. Avoid at all costs.

A friend and I were walking pass the store and we were approached by this lady who handed us a sample of a skin care product. She said she was going to give us more and asked us to follow her in the store. Since we were in no rush, we did follow her and before we knew it, she was giving us a demo of a diamond skin peeling product on the back of our hands. We were not proud to admit that we got sucked up into buying the product plus a moisturizer for a «special price» of $ 150(From $ 450 original price I think). The sales lady told us that she actually gave us her discount so we could have it at a lower price. She also gave us a $ 200 certificate to come back for a free facial. The skin peeling product is called Brilliance New York. I did see a difference in my skin, especially because I had not deep cleansed or exfoliate my skin for a very long time. I realized later that any kind of exfoliating products, even the cheaper ones, may have produced the same effect. I have only used the products for 4 weeks(once a week). How much more improvement it will do to my skin remains to be seen. As for the free facial treatment, it was not really a treatment but was more like a sales demo for their much more expensive product called Forever Flawless. The sales person first applied a mask plus two other products on right side of my face so I can see the difference after it was removed. The difference was my right cheek looked sa bit more defined or lifted compared to the other side. How much were the products? $ 4,500 for five pieces of face and neck anti-aging products! I’m not kidding. I already felt guilty buying the $ 150 product and I wouldn’t let myself be fooled into buying into this exorbitant scheme. The salesperson said she was going to give me her employee discount and lowered the price to $ 3000. Even if she gave me 90% discount I wouldn’t bite. I was so turned off by the hard pressure sales tactic and the pretentiousness and I was starting to feel that it was a scam. Few days later, I realized that my right cheek naturally looked more defined than the left cheek and it was not caused by those products. And by the way, my skin felt dry and itchy after the demo. After hearing my experience, my friend decided to throw away her«free facial» certificate. Also the salesperson said that she herself was using the products — but her skin is not that great. Yes, she didn’t have wrinkles but only because she was young(in her 20’s)! Also if these products are supposed to be that great and that expensive, why is it not being sold in reputable stores like Sephora instead of being sold in a small shop that don’t even have a website and don’t even have a proper store awning bearing its name? I’m thinking that this store is also being used as front for other business.
